Tag: Open Words: 593 Notes: XD No Somnia, or Josh please | I'd rather sleep my whole life away Short shorts and a thin girls t-shirt was perfect for the warm summer sun of Southern California, but it fit poorly in the cool damp summer air of Finland. Not entirely Miyuki's fault, she had no idea she was taking a sudden excursion to a cold weather country. It wasn't too bad though, at least it wasn't freezing. The wind that cut through the humidity though, went straight through her skin and to her bones. A shiver wracking her entire body as an attempt to keep itself warm from muscle contractions. It was a bit of doom and gloom over head, clouds not helping her situation in the slightest. Certainly it could get worse though. Rain could begin to fall, a monster not quite killed in the battle might smell her demigod scent and attack her. There was always the human element, humans might attempt to usher her into some sort of payment plan. She didn't dwell too much on it though, the landscape was rather pretty. Her daydreams began to cross over into her vision as she walked to find the nearest town. How she had gotten into this predicament in the first place, wasn't it always her choice in friends? Joshua Rogers was never the type to be well liked around camp. Though he seemed to be getting on a bit more friendlier terms with some people since he began to date Rhiannon and went on that quest. Still he had his share of enemies, and perhaps more again now that he had his wife back at his side. People hating how he forgave the traitor. A few of the less courageous took it out on his friends, and family. Spineless cowards that didn't want to mess with a son of Mercury, fast and agile with his blade. If they could hit him at all, they probably learned to regret it fast. Some had even learned that hurting him physically left no real damage to him, he had a rather devil may care attitude about it. Hurting his friends though, now that left a lasting impression. Miyuki happened to be a rather easy target, since she had always been considered the daughter of a lesser god. Honestly, what god could possibly be greater than her father? He spoke with her every night in her dreams, he gave her whatever she wished. She'd asked him to bring Apollo's children good dreams while they slept during the battle. Even if he was not on the same side she fought on, he was always on her side. It was only a short time he fought with the Titan before halting the fruitless battle and aiding his own family instead. She knew why he went with that fool of a Titan in the first place, part of the very reason she was out here. His children were treated with less respect because they were the children of a so called minor god. Miyuki almost ran into a sign in her bout of day dreaming. Thinking of warm fields of berries, and flowers. The sun over head, instead of clouds. “Vaala.” Well, at least she was getting somewhere. Wherever that might be. Josh would probably know the name of the city, but she preferred to not explain to him why she was stranded near Vaala. Wherever that might be. Roads where nice though. She started to walk towards town, keeping an eye out for vehicles so she might try and get a ride. Or some semblance of language to try and guess where she might be.
