Ah, the coliseum. Home to bloodshed in with gladiator battles but also home to the works of Apollo when it came to artistic performances. Which was what had brought the son of Bacchus here, after curfew mind you. The local play troupe in New Rome was performing a play that was some olf Greek Tragedy since everything around these parts had to correlate with mythology. At least this one portrayed his dad, and in two different lights too, which he was interested in. Honestly, he didn't care much for the play, he just wanted to see what these mortals back during the Greek era thought of his dad. After all, The Bacchae, the name of the play, was actually kinda lame in his opinion. However, Kyle sat through the entire longevity of it and once it was over he made his way through the small crowd of mainly elderly people. Wow, the old people in New Rome needed a life.
Kyle found himself in one of the exit tunnels looking at the posters for upcoming events. Maybe he would find another reason to sneak out and see something. He couldn't do it too often but he really wasn't fully concerned about getting caught either. This was his last year in the legion so what was the worst they could do? Kick him out? Please, they lost so many legionnaires during the war they would probably hold on to all their delinquents. Besides, it's not like Kyle had anyone follow him out, at least none that he knew of. He wouldn't be surprised if they did though. Curfew was a pain in the butt and some nights you just couldn't sleep and you needed to leave the camp and just wonder a bit to tire out your body. No real harm in it. It's not like Kyle was a son of Mercury and going to steal from the closed shops that lined the forum.
Plus, Kyle didn't do bad all the time. He was raised in the legion and respected the way it worked and he did work hard. He wanted to protect his fellow camps and make sure they can live a nice long life, but he also wishes they would enjoy their young life and seek out some fun. Throw a party in the barracks or with your cohort, sneak out into the town. Be a normal teenager for once. After all, a life of a demigod is short and you need to live while you're young.
