No weapons for either person seemed fair enough, but when the other person had one and she did not? That didn't seem fair. They should give her a weapon if they were fighting, though she supposed some things didn't exactly abide by those rules. Probably monsters. Would Lyndis ever be on the opposite side of that? The one with a weapon while the other didn't? She hoped not. She'd rather fight someone on equal terms. "Will monsters keep attacking if you have no weapon? That's no fair." Yes, she hadn't exactly learned the fact that life is unfair. The thought of fighting other people hadn't even crossed her little mind either. Sure a fist fight over something important, but that was different from what they did. So she didn't include that. It's not like people attacked people, at least not in Lyndis' mind. People were too nice and civil to really try to hurt each other.
For a moment Lyndis was going to ask what 'proximity' meant, but it seemed the older male had beat her to it. Telling her the meaning of the word before she could even ask. A wide grin crossed her face as she looked up from beside him. "Kay!" she said agreeing with his thoughts on how to migrate from temple to temple. Definitely sounded like a good plan, instead of running to whichever temple she felt like going to next, which is what she would have done. She had something for her mother in the bag too. Her dad poke highly of her, even if she didn't know she was a goddess at first. Her dad never had told her what happened to her mom, or why she was never there while she grew up, but she knew now. It must have been super busy being a god. People all over the world, and lots of city's like the one she had flown into for the Wolf House and Camp. These big cities with cars and tons of people walking, and on buses. More people in a small area than her entire home group. If people were like that all over the world she couldn't imagine how amazing the gods had to be to keep up with it all. Then some of them even came to visit camp sometimes. Like Mercury. He was funny.
Walking from temple to temple Lyndis seemed to get a bit more comfortable about the entire process. She'd walk up tot he alter of the god or goddess, place her gift there and give a bow. Pretty much same as she had done with Lord Jupiter, but less jumpy. Even the ones that still liked to spark a little surprise she was starting to get a little used to. It seemed like every god had their own little way about doing things, some had a gentle touch only Lyndis could feel while others were open about it like Jupiter. The thing that probably took up the most room in her bag though was probably the large plate of sandwiches she made for Mercury. He had told her they were good last time, though last time she made them for Ed and they were stolen.
She was a bit nervous when they got to her mothers temple. The temple of Fortuna stood in front of them, and agreeably from their choice of proximity she was next. Even if she had been keeping up rather well with Remus walk speed, this time she dropped back a little. She wasn't intimidated like what she was by Jupiter's temple, but it was something different to be going to the temple of her mother. Sure her dad told her what a wonderful woman she was, but this was still someone she had never met of given gifts to before. Would she be disappointed she never got a gift from her daughter before. While she normally was not one to think too much about things, family was something that drew a lot of things to her mind. Whether it was by blood or by choice, she thought about her family a good amount.
