Six months of them and only them. Were they a pain? Yes. Did he want to decapitate all of them at one point or another? Yes. But six months did a lot to relationships when they were around only eachother for 24/7. All on a quest. All of them against whatever was out there. Had he panicked when he thought he had killed them? Or when he thought Felicity and Josh were dead? Or when he realized he couldn't keep tabs on all of them in camp? He stared at the tree, hard. It was still here. No matter how many changes took place in camp human wise, Felicity's tree was still here. Another thing that could hopefully keep him stable; just like his "fine" status. At least no one had had the tree removed or chopped down or anything... He exhaled slightly. Tree climbing had always been Felicity's forte. He could do a rock wall, but trees weren't exactly his thing. Heck, heights weren't his thing. Then again, he did climb on top of roofs and build planes... what the heck was wrong with him? He inwardly smirked; he'd be there all day long if he attempted to answer that question. His eyes roamed along the bare branches, the leaves on the ground. It looked different; heck it was in the middle of winter, so he had to expect that, but at least it was there. If he was looking for a quick adrenaline fix, he could always pull a Felicity: climb up and jump down, hoping he didn't break something in the process. Then Felicity's hand went to her side. A flash of guilt streamed through him, and before he could help himself, Edmund had opened his mouth. "Are you okay?" he asked. His usually flat voice had lost it's indifferent edge, and for a moment, something akin to concern entered his tone. And then of course Felicity Weingarten attempted to climb the tree. He almost advised her against it, not wanting her to hurt herself more than she already was, but stopped himself. She wasn't one to be fussed over. Not by any extent of the imagination. He settled for just watching her. She probably wouldn't make it far with her side still healing. No more than a few seconds later, he was proven right. He half made a move to reach out and help steady her as she stumbled, but she seemed to have it under control. "No," he agreed. "But you will again, one day." Her side would get better, her memories would come back. All in due time. Just give it time. Then again, Edmund hated waiting around for things... but this time, like on the quest, he supposed he would have to learn how to suck it in and be patient. As he gazed over their surroundings again, his hyper vigilance from being on the quest kicking in once again, he felt Felicity staring at him. Study/size up session again. Not that he minded; he was used to being under scrutiny in general. He felt like they were back in the forge when they had first met. They had no idea what to expect from eachother. If they'd hate eachother or if they'd ever voluntarily see eachother again after he did his job. She started towards him, and for a moment, Edmund almost thought she had been faking the amnesia. The grin and glint in her eye were back. The "let's do something that's camp illegal and reckless" look was back. First thing that came to his head? Nothing. Complete blank. "I'm not very creative," he muttered. It was true. It was usually Felicity who came up with ideas on where to go and what to do. Felicity who came up with ideas on what he should make: things like Metal Bird and a rhyming monkey in a flying car. Felicity who tackled him into shadows, grabbed his hand, or just shot him a glare that would have him shut up and go along with it on the spot.

There's no remedy for memory She didn't say anything in reply to him telling her that one day she'd be able to climb the tree again. Sure, it might be true. One day she'd remember everything too. One day. Gods, if only it really were just one day that she'd have to wait for. No, this was a process that was elongating itself to the point of driving the curly haired brunette livid. Where was her get out of jail free card for this situation? There was none. Whatever had happened to induce the amnesia obviously was done in torment because thats all it had done so far to Felicity.  She gave a slight smirk. "Not creative? I highly doubt that. You were creative enough to break into the infirmary without causing a scene." Felicity pointed out to Edmund. Sure, might not have been artistic creative, but it was genius creative. Or was it? Honestly, how hard was it to break into an infirmary? Was it suppose to be hard due to all the medicine and technology stored within the compound? Whatever the answer to that was, Edmund was able to get in there, and to know exactly which room was hers. How did he do that anyways? Was there names posted outside of each door? Felicity would have to check when she returned.  Gods, she hated that. When she returned. Why was she even considering the return? She was out right now, she can stay out. They can come after her all they wanted but why in Gods name would she return to a prison in disguise? It would just make her hate herself more, sitting there in nothingness. She sighed. "You don't have to be creative, just impulsive. C'mon, first thing that comes into that big head of yours." Okay, he didn't have a big head but it worked in the sentence and if he got infended then he was a lot more of a wuss than Felicity took him to be. The guy in front of him seemed like someone who could take a beating, been to hell and back. And who knows, with all the mythology running around the place it wouldn't surprise her to run into someone who has gone to and from hell at least once, if not twice. Being most silent himself, Edmund didn't mind when Felicity offered no counter comment. It seemed she was being more pensive on the matter than accepting it as one day coming true. Logically her side would heal over time and, with practice, she could get into climbing shape again. Edmund being almost optimistic for once. That migraine must have messed up his head more than he thought. Sure, maybe one day she'd be able to climb the tree again. Maybe he'd even be around to see it. That would be kind of nice, he supposed: living through this war. Just another thing he had to prepare to possibly die for. Two wars and a quest. The next wave of demigods they got would be oblivious to exactly how much real life experience they had missed in four short years. A lot could happen in a year; heck, a lot could happen in five seconds: life had proved that one to him over and over. "That's not called creative. It's called breaking and entering." Of course, he had been in and out of the infirmary months ago for his rib; then he had stayed for a month. Perhaps he had fooled them all into thinking he was suddenly okay with the place (actually, scratch that, since he had disappeared right after coming back from the quest), but still. Maybe the people in the infirmary were just getting stupid. Or they thought he was listening to orders for once and coming for a check up. Besides, when Edmund had something set in his mind, it usually didn't change for anything. He had been breaking in with a purpose; for a reason. He had made a promise to himself, had convinced himself, to see Felicity in the infirmary, so it had happened. He did it impulsively, without planning, and with a heightened anxiety level, but he had done it. Getting the guts to do it had been a bit of a process, but hey, she was infront of him now, and that was all that mattered to him at the moment. A slight smirk flickered across his face. So her teasing of him was still in tact. If anything, that was one way their relationship worked: sassing and teasing eachother relentlessly. Back to the actual task at hand though. Thinking of something impulsive. Odd, when actually put on the spot to do something impulsive, his mind drew a blank. The doctors and therapists back at home had called it reverse psychology or something to that effect. Impulsive, impulsive... what was one of the things they had wanted to before? Rather.. what had one of the things been on Felicity's list? They had done McDonald's, had gone paint balling, had gotten into a car crash, had gone to Starbucks, and had scared a church congregation. The last one probably took the cake, although paint balling had to be a close second. He ended up thinking of something he hadn't done since he was a child. Probably not good since he was regressing, but whatever. She wanted impulsive. Okay fine, this may have been forced, delayed impulsive, but it could still count. "Amusement park."
