Felicity couldn't help but smile a little brightly at his offer of travel. Sure, she had the sneaking suspicion that if she came back home and told Remus that she would be going on trips occasionally with some older man that it might not bode well. Probably raise an eyebrow. Not that Felicity could blame him, it was forward of Orcus to offer and thankfully the god knew it. But despite the forwardness of it all Felicity was all but eager to accept his offer.

"You know, all this talk of adventure you might not be able to get me to leave. You'll be stuck with me forever." Felicity said with a small laugh, teasing him. Not aware of how those words, though said in jest would affect him. She was just a lover of adventure, always had been. When she was younger and found out about her being a demigod, she was thankful for the exciting life but then she realized she wanted adventure in more than one place, something she wasn't getting from the legion. That was how her little shoebox collection first started. Whenever she saw a picture of some far off place in a magazine or newspaper, she would rip it out and deposit it in there. Granted, it started to hold other things, like the first Valentine Remus had sent her, but other than that the shoebox held her dreams. She had a shoebox like that now still but the contents were different, aimed toward a different future, one she would share with Remus. It held ideas for the perfect wedding and picture of baby toys and clothes. Granted, it still had some travel ideas and her heart still yearned for them, but it was her head that told her it was impossible now.

She smiled. "Well I'm glad you understand, I don't think people at the legion would. They all seem content to stay in the one place all their life and no worries about you coming as too forward, I like that about you. You're not afraid to just tell it how it is. Some people try to sugarcoat it but, it is what it is. Plus, like I said, if I go on an adventure with you, you might be stuck with me for life. I'll just leave a small note for Remus, I'm sure he'll be totally okay with it." Felicity said with a small laugh, knowing sure well that it would not be totally okay. It wasn't like she would actually go through with it anyway.

Orcus chuckled. Gods, if she only knew. He wanted to be with her, of course, but not just because he came with perks. He smiled all the same. Some time was better than no time. “I wouldn’t argue that. You know, company. So where should we go? Perhaps first thing tomorrow? Or, you know, once we roll out of bed after this late night.” He hurried to add, “Which is fine. Completely not your fault.” He folded his hands on his lap as he smiled at her encouragingly. He wanted her to know he was here for her. For Felicity Weingarten. Not because the immortal spirit inside her, but because, well, the other one. It was complicated. She was two women at once, just one was dormant. Right? He wasn’t really sure. Felicity was a real person. When this person before him, gods forbid, died, Felicity would go to the Underworld. Laverna would move on to the next one. Forever. He hid the sigh.

He nodded slightly as he listened. “They used to be more ambitious, that I remember. That Churchill boy, between the two of us, he didn’t stay an hour longer than he had to. As soon as his term was up, he left in a hurry even though he was safer in the camp. And look where it got him.” He chuckled when she dismissed his being too forward. Thank goodness. “You do? Or are you just saying that because I take you places?” he teased. Remus totally okay with her ditching him for some old fart whacko? Oh yes. He let out a laugh. “Because we all know how well he takes being left behind long.” Then it hit him. Crap. That was an awful thing to say. He looked to her quickly. “I’m sorry. Bringing up more bad memories for you. I didn’t mean to.” Yes, everyone knew how that went last time. The fake her death thing. That was had affected the mortal and immortal worlds alike, and it’s dramatic end in a flare of Mars rage, at least on the mortal front? Well, it was hard to miss.
