Lyndis had found a way in, something other than the normal way and was probably not supposed to be for the use of entering the forge. She had spent a lot of time exploring the camp, in fact spent near all her time including times she was supposed to be in class or training. She was okay with training sometimes, but every day was simply too much. Running around camp climbing things, and falling a lot, were good ways to exercise too. Her active imagination, and possibly the lack of proper building structure, left her with little definition for what was not supposed to be a way inside. This lead to her finding a lot more than others.
Looking around from atop a pile of works in progress, Lyndis wondered where everyone was. The place seemed empty, and while she didn't care about most people, she had hoped to see Edmund here. Her eyes caught on several things she had not seen before, the ADHD acting up in this room fulled to the brim with word benches and their works in progress. She would not be able to leave the way she came, and there was no point in being there if no one else was. Lyndis attempted to get down from the pile, and slipped bringing the pile of metal crashing down all around her. A tower shield covered her body almost immediately, gears, wire, and sharpened metal clanked against the shield. After the noise stopped Lyndis stuck her head out from under the shield, she saw saw all manner or sharp implements including a few things that should have been extra material.
Crawling out from under the shield Lyndis had to be careful, pieces of untreated metal, spare blades for the machines and everything else had been scattered on the floor. It was actually probably a good thing, given several things that had been missing were now in plan sight. Lyndis didn't think about that, all she knew was there was a mess and she should clean it up. While on the floor her eyes came across a pair of shoes, following them up she looked into the face of the one she had been looking for. “Hi Ed!”
