Baths where nice one you got in them. All hot and tingly, light red burns all over your skin. That was a good bath, and it took Rhiannon's mind off the voice she kept hearing. It wasn't one of those voices you sometimes hear, and you know it's just your own mind replying to it self. Not one of those voices that echo slightly in your head, not any more at any rate. First she knew it was just that. A voice in the back of her head, but sometimes it sounded real. Alive. Like a person standing next to her. Taking in a nice deep breath of steam she sighed in aggravation. She wasn't going crazy. She knew she wasn't. It was simply an annoying voice she would have to try and get rid of. She'd heard it's mutterings before. She'd heard herself tell, well herself, of all her faults before. Before Josh. He always did his best to fill her head with good things about herself. Sinking down into the water she blew frustrated bubbles and plunged her head down into the water. Rubbing the conditioner our of her curly wet hair.

Her hair still hung limp around her, almost straight after she combed it out. Still dripping wet. She'd squeezed it dry, or attempted to, before the tugged her bathing suit on. She put a pair of exercise shorts, and a large dark tee shirt over that and opened the door to the cold wind outside. Going from basically a sauna to the 40F temperatures that the night offered. Her hair and skin seemed to steam in the cold air, and she let out a soft sigh of pleasure at the feeling. She missed this. Winter was made for this feeling. It let her forget about everything else in the world. She stretched and shivered. Walking her way over to the pools edge. Sometimes people thought she was crazy, going into the pool when it was near freezing outside. Hoping from the overly hot sauna, to the same pool, and back again. Shock to the system was going to make her sick. Didn't hurt the people in Russia, or Finland any. Hadn't hurt her any. More like a test for her immune system.

Cold weather... That was what almost everyone in camp thought when they were outside the buildings. yes it was cold, but never as cold as in the North part of Europe, even Scotland that wasn't as cold as places like Norway or Finland, was colder than Camp Jupiter in that moment, so for someone used to cool to cold weather, 40°F wouldn't be so bad. And that was the case of Lilith Mckinnon. She finished her shift in the infirmary and needed to take a shower, so she took of her white medic robe right after she finished all the updating of the files and the filing itself. She used to be very unorganized and in many aspects of her life she still was, but not in the infrimary. there she was organized and hated when others couldn't keep stuff in order. After she finished filing and checking on infirmary's stock, she went to her barrack and grabbed her personal items for the bathroom, and walked to the bathrooms' building. Wind was kind of colder than weather, so on your skin you felt it like 38°F or 39°F, but it felt good on the skin, even more after a hard day of work. She looked around and felt kind of safe when she saw so many campers going and coming. It was good to see that most of them were still doing their common activities, that the threat of war was just a slight part of their lives. It was also good that gods were seen a bit more around the camp. That gave campers the feeling of being guarded by them. That they cared about them, or at least from some of the divine ones. She walked to the showers, but then she listened to the water of the pool. She thought for a moment and it would be nice to get a relaxing swuimming before a hot shower, that would be great! so she walked to the dressing rooms there, she had there a swim-suit. one of the two that clare helped her to find and pick. She changed her clothes into it and then walked to the pool. She left her towel on a chair there and then got into the water, it was nice to know how to swim and that she also owed it to clare. She was such a nice girl! Maybe she would get something for her for Saturnalia. She swam a couple of rounds, then she dived and when she popped out again, she saw someone who just got there. "oh..." she got kind of scared, she was still scared of other campers when she had no weapon on her. the wound that vivian inflicted on her was still fresh in her mind and almost also in her body. then she recognized the girl. "uhm... Rhiannon?" she smiled at the curly hair girl.

Joy. That useless girl from fifth, Rhiannon didn't put weight in rumors, but she had seen this girl at work before and she was such a klutz. She put on the fakest smile she knew, and it almost seemed like she begged for attention. Of course that might be Rhiannon's own dislike of blondes, she was a bit more judgmental of them and knew it. She tried to give the girl the benefit of the doubt, just a little. She hated when people were prejudice, so she's certainly try not to be one herself. Even if she was a murderer. Soon Josh would come back, and she'd already changed for the worse, might as well try and avoid changing more. To not leave her soul more tarnished than it already was. She stayed solid in the fact Josh would love her even with all she had done. He was an idiot like that, and he hadn't left her with how had she had tried to push him away before. When she would argue and fight like a little wild child. He stuck with her through the feelings she had after the last war, only he knew the depression she had, the pain she felt, though even now she wouldn't admit that's what it was. Even now she didn't realize how upset she was over killing other demigods with her own sword. Using her spells to kill. To murder. There was one person who would love her no matter what she did, and she held on to that thought like a life line. She used it to combat the voice in her head, used Josh to push the negative thoughts back, to keep her alive and sane. Josh would always be there for her, even if he wasn't perfect neither was she. Mercury she was a little skeptical about sometimes, but she liked him and more important than anything else she trusted him. Maybe not always every word, but his character, that he really did care and that he meant when he said he loved his kids. She was already pretty sure Mercury would find his way no matter which side he fought on, that he could get himself out of any situation. Just in case though, she was more than ready to make a plea with Saturn. He was her friend, so he'd listen to her at least a little right? Well she supposed calling him a friend wasn't accurate, she did like him and he seemed agreeable, but he hadn't quite earned the status. She didn't completely trust him, but she did a lot of research on the Golden Age of Man. Even if he wasn't in her trust category, which took years, she knew enough to accept he wanted power back, and he wasn't going to let humans do all these evil things anymore. If it ended up meaning humans didn't exactly get freedom of choice, oh well. “Yes.” she said plainly as she sat at the edge of the pool, putting her legs in. Shirt and shorts still on she slipped into the cold water holding onto the side. She couldn't swim. Float a little, but not swim, and floating was iffy at best. Her toes touched the bottom of the pool, and she pushed off trying to get into position to float on her back. Holding onto the edge of the pool wasn't helping her much, and she turned putting her toes on the cement below.

Rhiannon... she was in fourth cohort, had curly black hair, beautiful blue eyes and a scar on her cheek. Well that was as much as Lilith knew about the girl that was getting into the pool. she had heard that she was crazy, that she was a hermit and that she would hex you if you ever go in her way. Well, she among people in the camp and New Rome, knew what it was to be haunted by rumors and bad tongues, she knew it because she had faced it since she could remember it, since her friend back when she was 7 years old, died and people blamed Lilith. So why would she listen to those rumors about Rhiannon? besides, someone who took good care of an animal wouldn't be so mad, right? and she had seen a little white fur around Rhiannon... some times. She was also dating that guy of Lilith's cohort... Joshua. He was a nice, good guy, so he wouldn't date her if she wasn't someone good too.

"Good day Rhiannon, I'm Lilith McKinnon from fifth cohort. It is nice to meet you... personally." she said and smiled again. She was being ernest to the girl in front of her. not because she was scared of her, not anymore at least. She was being honest because she didn't really know how to hate someone, how to be evil to that person, no matter how much that person hurt her, gunnar was a living proof, so as Felicity. And Rhiannon has never done a thing to her, so... why would she be bad at her? Although she was nice, she was used to others being harsh to her, so she thought that is would be the same with her, so she sat on the edge and squizzed her hair. Then she looked at Rhiannon, it seemed that she was kind of... scared of leaving the edge, also she tried to float but it seemed that it was something new to her. Lilith wondered if she looked like that when Clare was tryig to teach her how to float and then how to swim.

She had heard that the daughter of Trivia was harsh on an extreme way, that she never accepted help from anyone! but Jason thought she was a nice person, deep inside of her, but still nice person. Lilith trusted her life on Jason's judgement, so maybe it would be ok if she offered her help to Rhiannon. She still was a rookie at swimming, but at least she was a very good floater... well if that could be considered a skill at all! She got into the water again and swam at Rhiannon, but not too close, she didn't want to invade her personal space. "may I help you?... i'm not an expert swimming, but I can help you to at least float and not get drawned..." she waited for the harsh reply, the harsh look or even an insult. She was used to those. But still she wouldn't let that take her humanity and her good will at others.

Sure it was. Rhiannon's eyes rolled in her head at the thought of anyone thinking it was nice to meet her. She'd seen this girl, completely useless and a ditz. Not to mention that awful lie right off the bat, even if she was a liar herself now she hated them. Perhaps even more now she despised them, as the voice echoed in the back of her mind taunting her. Calling her a hypocrite, telling her all the things she already knew but hated to hear. She glanced at the girl a moment before deciding not to care and go about what she was doing before hand. She need not introduce herself if the girl heard about her already. Who hadn't though? Rhiannon the little witch that accidentally set off a fireball or two, who shook the earth with a spell. Only when she was really mad of course, she didn't like doing those things. They took too much energy, one spell and she was done for a long time, so naturally she avoided them. She used buffing spells, to increase her healing, or speed, and then there was strength. Yeah, those were the useful spells, not silly ones like fire, ice, or the like. She never really tried to recreate them though, they hurt too many people, too quickly. It had a different kind of feeling than dispatching someone with your own hands, with your own sword. The girls next sentence made her snort a bit in amusement before she allowed her attention to be diverted to her again. It was such a stupid question, from a stupid little girl. “No.” Her cold emotionless voice paired well with the arched eye brow, and the look of annoyance and disbelief in her eyes. Her reply was sharp and quick, with little to no energy put into it. She never accepted help, not from even Josh. That didn't mean that the idiot thief wouldn't give her help anyway. He was her friend, for life. Dating or not he was the person she trusted and loved above everyone and everything else. He kept her sane. She might not stop what she was doing for him, but neither did he. So she really couldn't feel guilty. She didn't feel guilty. Not a bit. She knew it was the best decision to complete her plan and that was it. Nothing to feel bad about, though the voice taunted again with it's lovely words of wisdom.

Rhiannon was a good example of those ones in camp who couldn't accept a bit of help. Why did the romans had to be so stubborn, so full of pride!? Lilith couldn't understand that. But the blone, slim girl didn't remember in that moment that even she was a very stubbron person. SHe spent two years away from people only because she couldn't get close to someone and ask for help. That was something that she knew very well, but she didn't remember that in that single moment while she was looking to the girl with curly, black hair. She sighed and nodded at her. "Ok, then I won't help you..."


SHe said and then got into the water with very graceful movements. Her father used to tell her that she seemed a nymph or a spirit. Completely bodyless, as if she was made of air, she didn't know if he was right, in fact she never thought she could seem one, but the real fact was that sometimes she really seemed one. She relaxed a bit in the water and breathed deeply before submerging her head too to get all of her hair completely soaked. Then she popped out again and looked again at Rhia. "imagine if your life pended from that... wouldn't if be better to know how to... survive?" she said and waited for her reply.


Maybe she was going further than needed with Rhiannon, she had heard she wasn't a girl that could be messed with. but Lilith thought that everyone had goodness in their hearts, everyone, even Mars had that good side, a side that would be good to be found at some point. So maybe RHiannon also had that good side in her heart and maybe Lilith could find it. She had heard from Joshua Rogers, that Rhiannon was a good girl, that she was only kind of... upset with the world, and well... she knew about it. Discordia made her feel like that for two years so why not trying to help Rhiannon? 

Jason helped Lilith, Tessa did it too. Mors spent more hours than needed helping her to realize that her souls wasn't lost at all that it was just injured to a critical point. She was sure she could help RHia to see that and maybe then Rhia could find it easier to relate to other demigods and maybe be a little open about herself to others. and if it was possible, maybe even becoming friends too.
