Saturnalia is coming, only two weeks for that amazing day! most campers related that single word with the Titan and all the threats that would come with him. But for very few that were legacies, that their parents had grown up with the idea of Saturnalia as a festivity where you spend a week with your family and friends, some time to relax and spend quality time with those that were important in your heart. Those very few, who celebrated Saturnalia as a good thing, tried to buy presents and prepare enough food for the week, well those in New rome, the ones in Camp Jupiter could only wait for the celebrations that Camp held and the gift interchange. Among those campers, was Lilith, she was walking to forum that day. She had already bought most of the gifts she was going to give her family and friends. but she still needed something really special for Ethan and Tessa. she had seen a beautiful medic set, everything for the modern roman medic. It was special for a war medic, which Lilith hoped didn't happen, but if it did, Tessa would be a field medic and she would need the best! Lilith wanted to give her that so as a new set of pendants that she had also seen at the forum. she wanted it to be a secret so she would order them and then ask them to keep them in storage until Saturnalia, so they would deliver them to the infirmary, there she would give it to her. She walked into the medical stuff store and ordered a paramedic's aid kit and also a foldaway stretcher, she payed for them and then went to buy the pendants she had seen, she thought they were perfect for Tessa. She walked into the store and ordered the once from the catalogue. Perfect pendants for her best friend! after that, she walked out of the store and walked down the halls to find something perfect for Ethan.

She was invited to Gunnar's grandfathers house for Christmas, at least what she considered to be Christmas. An immortals house! What was one supposed to do at such a thing? This was even worse than Oscar night. Mors and Gunnar always seemed to be in high class suits, she'd hate to show up in inappropriate attire. She hardly had dresses anymore, though more now that she would spend at least one night a week with Gunnar. She had some business type attire to wear in the infirmary. Blouses and knee length skirts of various colors. Mostly lighter colors, she some how felt it was bad luck for a medic to wear dark colors. Then an even worse dilemma, what does one get a god for Christmas? Then if she got one of Gunnar's grand parents something she felt the need to get something for Lord Pluto as well. What on earth do you get the god of earthly treasure? Gold, gems, he already had it and could buy nearly anything he wanted. She had given both of them little dragon trinkets like she had given Gunnar already. Pluto had his turned into a pin, though she was unsure of what Mors did with his. She stared at the little shop windows in New Rome. Why were these men so difficult to buy things for? Mors, Pluto, and Gunnar all could obtain whatever they wished. Here she was, looking at cuff links and ties. She huffed at them fogging up the glass before moving on to the next window. Tea was nice, perhaps one of them could have some nice tea. No that didn't feel right either. These were gods, immortals that lived for so long with so much experience. What was she going to do? Buy them a tea they didn't like? She walked in a small tight circle thinking before angling her steps towards a juice bar. It was cold, and she had a nice coat on over her camp t shirt and jeans, but she wanted something to drink. There was hardly any line, who wants a cold smoothy in December with Jack Frost and Elsa's wedding storm going on? Polar Vortex. Wierd. Something caught her eye as she left the store, several napkins protecting her hands from the plastic that held her drink. Lilith wandered out of a jewelery store. It looked like she had some heavy bags with her, from a medical supply store Tessa knew fairly well. Her long slender legs, hidden in the tough boys jeans she had. Funny how guys pants had taken a turn to female skinny jeans. She liked them better though, not that stretchy material that felt too tight and short life expectancies. Female pants simply couldn't keep up with guys pants in wear and tear. “Hi Lilith” she spoke aloud when she got closer to her friend, a smile on her face. “Getting some supplies?” Gunnar didn't seem to like his cousin, but she happened to become Tessa's best friend. More than likely she'd be at the party too, though she hadn't gotten a list. She'd just have to bring extra presents, it felt rude to not give everyone something.

Lilith loved to go shopping for Saturnalia, at least that singular year. In past years she hadn’t had anyone to buy anything for Saturnalia, she had always being the lonely girl that anyone wanted to be with. But this year it had changed! Everything had changed in her life! She was with not only Ethan, that was the most perfect boyfriend in the world and that he had just come back from a very difficult task, the quest for the relic. She also had now friends!! Something also incredible, but she loved and enjoyed. Tessa her best friend, It wasn’t only because of her charm in her voice, they became friends even before she started talking again. Their friendship was deeper than just chatting Tessa understood her perfectly and she hoped she felt the same respecting her part of friendship too. Then there was Clare, she was such an important person a daughter of Neptune, a centurion and also popular!! Yet, she was sweet and humble. She had been so sweet to help her with her swimming lessons and now they were friends too.

Then her family members, well Tessa fell into that list too but they had never treated each other as cousins, even when to Lilith, Tessa was more like a sister. But when she said blood related family, she talked about Mors and Apollo, her lovely grandparents, gods of Olympus but with her both of them acted as humans, tenderly and caring all the time. About August, Jason and Cadence, they were her uncles and aunt from apollo side. they were so different from each other, yet they were nice an caring too, well she hadn't spent enough time with Cadence, but that could change next year. Even when he disgusted her deeply, Gunnar was in that list too, her grumphy, serious, hating cousin. No matter how much he hated her, she would always leave her heart open from when he wanted to talk. When you were so rich to have all of that, then you needed, you must celebrate and thank the gods for it.

Suddenly she heard the voice of her best friend, sister and cousin and smiled widely at her, she knew she had her presents in the dark solid bags on her side, but she hoped Tessa would figure out those were for her, until Saturnalia. "Tessa!! so good to see you!!" she hugged her friend tightly, then pulled back. "yeah... supplies, you know in winter colds are what we must attend the most." she smiled and then giggled. "you? what brings you here?"

Smoothies were good, cold and especially in the winter, but good none the less. Possibly the same way that hot soup could be good in summer, though Tessa was far better in warmer climates than she was in the colder kind. Even not when it wasn't cold compared to the place she and Gunnar had gone to for their weekend date, which was really just one of his homes. She wanted a kitchen so she could cook for him. She was working hard on trying to do that, and was able to make some spaghetti and apple crisp. Nothing too difficult, unless you were a terrible cook like she was. With enough practice she became decent at it, but the same could be said about anything she did. Enough practice at being a medic and she became head medic, enough practice in fighting and she was centurion. Perhaps with enough practice with her voice she'd be able to control it and not charm every person she talked to. It was good to see Lilith out and about, she worked hard at the infirmary. Possibly because Tessa worked her hard. She didn't want another incident like when she first started the medic line of duty. She worked every medic very hard, and she'd even given Lilith text books and notes to learn better in her off time. That was part of what she liked about her though, she was hard working. She realized fast how detrimental mistakes could be, and that was a bit of a good thing. To learn now instead of in the middle of a fight how mistakes are incredibly dangerous. Though so was doing nothing, it was just a compromise. Work hard and learn, then help when you can and keep back if you can't. Sometimes everyone in the legion had to learn, she was pretty sure. Colds could be terrible, especially when it was actually bronchitis and people where just being hardheaded and continuing with training. Sure training actually helped if you had a cold. It would clear up the sinuses to run, and let you breath easier, but if you have a cough for over a week you should go to the infirmary! "Yes, they can be hardheaded about it though. We've been getting more people coming in with the record lows across the country.” she gave a bit of a nod and shrugged. "I'm trying to find gifts for Gunnar and his grandfathers. I still don't know what on earth I'm supposed to get for guys that can have anything they want already. Do you have any idea's for Lord Mors?”
