valentines day, The one holiday a yeear dedicated to Allan's father Cupid and to lesser degree his Grandmother Venus. Venus was the goddess of love but it seemed cupid got the spot light on this time of year. The one thing Allan disliked about the holiday is how the modern day society made him look. It was embarrassing to see pictures of your own father whom was in a diaper and apparently looked younger then you. He could just picture it now cupid coming to visit and someone questioning when did he have baby. The son of cupid would die from embarrassment, especially since in the last war he fought against him and all the other gods. However this year Allan wanted to do something special for camp and he wanted to show the campers he did have a change of heart from the time he was in the war.Today he was dressed in a bright pink shirt and red jeans, looking like the world's biggest valentine.

He walked towards New Rome to go talk to his uncle Robin. The son of cupid heard Robin was a therapist in New Rome. Although, today Alan was not going to his ofice for counseling despite having people say he needed it.Allan was going to go seek Robin for he was an adult and he was also son of Venus so he knew about the holiday. This year was also special to him because he found a boy he loved, but the ex traitor couldn't bring himself to tell Ronan. Allan passed by the god terminus who was arguing that Allan couldn't take his dagger inside the border to New Rome and if he had to have a weapon to feel safe then he shouldn't have come back to the very place he betrayed. Allan simply ignored Terminus and placed his weapon with the OCD god. This time of year was no time to argue with a god, and with Saturn being back Allan was in no mood to just argue when he could spend that valuable time training.

The titan was back, which was why Allan felt this camp needed the morale boost before they plunged head first into war. Allan finally made it to the office of Robin he made sure he didn't look to bad before proceeding to knock. This was a good time for family bonding but to plan something good for camp's morale, or so he hoped.

What about now? His brother Cupid was hard at work this time last year, planning for last years festivities which ended in a few lovely couples. Though this time around Robin heard little to nothing about the continuation and it was certainly a tradition that needed to keep going. Especially at this time with demigods on the verge of war, tensions high. Valentines Day was hopefully the time to put a small damper in that high tension waiting for a fight. He had the idea to plan a dinner, or something of that sort. How he could possibly do that was still beyond him. Project planning might not be his best plan, business planning he always went to the god Mercury for. Love planning, he had that down pretty well. Friends he went a little over board with. He liked them a bit too much sometimes and got annoying, though he had calmed down in his age. Only a few years make such a difference it was amazing. Though it was more like seven or eight years since he used to yell all kinds of things at his friends from across the fields of Mars. They'd yell back of course, what kind of friends would they really be if they weren't equally insane? That was his own opinion at any rate, and sometimes he missed those days. Other times he'd look back and face palm at himself. Pictures, so many pictures he tried to burn but kept showing up. Oh well, C'est la vie. A knock came to his door, no one was scheduled for the rest of the day, so perhaps a walk in. The papers he had were gently placed into a folder and he slide them into his desk before locking it. Oh he had special lock that were supposed to keep Mercury kids out. Though there was no end to innovation from those kids. He hated keeping paperwork on people, but made it look mundane as possible instead of putting keep out signs on it or anything. He'd still lock it, but normally the only defense against Mercury kids was making it look boring. The door easily swung open, as it always did. He kept his office and things in as good a shape as he could. Even the old couch and tables that were a bit banged up from the not so gentle demigods that lived here. “Hello, did you want to come in?” he said with a smile. “It's a bit chilly out, did you want something warm to drink?” Sometimes people would ask Robin if he wasn't really a mother hen, or related to Ceres instead of Venus. He was pretty sure considering his ability to read emotion and slightly control it. Though he tried to not do that.
