These kinds of events could be quite exciting, but for Trivia they were few and far between. Too often she would have an idea and hole herself up in that little cave of experiments, and poisons. Few have ever seen her little cave, or her at work. Mercury obviously had, she loved the man but he drove her up the wall sometimes. Mars and Venus hardly came to her underworld seclusive cavern hidden from even Pluto and Mors. The sticks in the mud that they could be. The actual cave itself had a tendency to move, or perhaps it was better to say it wasn't in anyone place. Goddess of the crossroads she was, her laboratory lay on a strange boundary of the three, sky, earth and ocean. Which area was actually open depended on the stat of the moon. A bit complicated, but rather interesting. She liked it.
She hadn't sent a thing to her date, and she wondered how to do this. It was her cousin Apollo who was to be her date, she wasn't exactly the biggest fan of the sun, more of a moon and night person herself, but she supposed she would have to pick the more subtle rout or the more dominant route. Decisions. One of which relied on Apollo being more masculine and getting her flowers or what have you for the date. The other involved her taking the dominant role, and she had to admit both where highly appealing today. Valentine's day. Funny how they were celebrating a man who was murdered for going against the law and marrying people who were in the legion, which in olden times was against the law of course. You had to be single to be a legionnaire.
She painted her lips a ruby red, she could adjust anything with the snap of her fingers but there was something about primping the mortal way that left you with a feeling of self confidence. Not that she didn't have enough of that as is. Coating her nails in a red nail polish to match, with a bit of rattle snake venom to give it that extra shine. Her heels were about two inches and made a lovely sound when they hit the floor. Her sleek black and white dress was a white wash background with lacy black vines crawling over from one side. Past her waist the cloth hung loose folding slightly over itself. It emphasized the movements of her hips as she sashayed to the table. Her sleeves hung off her shoulder, loose like the skirt, while the top held itself up.
