Pin stripped suits where just his kind of thing, and today it was a pink button up shirt that went along with it. He had a bit of gray in his beard and hair, the touch of a wise well seasoned veteran. Here in his camp he could mix and mingle with people. In the wonderful New Rome and Camp Jupiter full of fighters loyal to friends and family. He didn't mind that too much, that they weren't perfectly loyal to him. He had allowed them at least that much, to choose for themselves what they care about. What they want to protect. He was furious at the ones who turned their back out of anger at the gods, but they were foolish children. He'd allow Mars to say those were his kids, or Mercury to claim them. Those two could bicker over who Camp belonged to, who the kids belonged to. Jupiter knew this was his camp, and he knew they didn't belong to the gods. Mortal destiny was shaped by the mortals it effected, and he would never be a tyrant like his father. It was the one thing that ruled his mind, if anyone brought that single thing up he would stop and re think what he was doing. If he was becoming like the old fool.
Blessing the stadium with his smile, he looked down on the teams. It was purely recreational today, some football or what was it Americas called it? Soccer? He might have migrated over with the civilization but that was not his call. Possibly a joke by Mercury to urk him every time it was mentioned. He loved his son, but he was a prankster. As where the little Mercury demigods that liked to run around. His grand kids, some of them with very nice slender legs. Sunglasses where a great invention, Jupiter's eyes could search the crowd, and fall upon the loveliest of ladies without anyone the wiser. Particularly his wife. Cheers erupted from some of the people around, not a large event but it gathered a few on lookers. Friends and family, or even people waiting for their turn to join the game. He couldn't help but bring a few clouds to sprinkle shadows over the athletes. It wasn't the heat of summer just yet, but when you constantly run around a bit of shade could do you some good.
