Felicity slammed the book shut with a curse in Latin but ended up coughing as the dust became exposed to her lungs. Stupid old books. This was getting stressful. Research, write, work, train, sleep, and try to not be persuaded. Gods, and she thought being in the legion was hard. She glanced at the tattoo on her inner right arm and sighed, tugging at the mid-sleeve shirt of hers hoping that magically it would cover up the reminder of her mistake. Three years short of a full commitment. Stupid Saturn, stupid war, stupid soldiers. She rubbed her temples as she took a seat in one of the chairs. Felicity couldn't afford to get stressed out, she didn't want a relapse of what happened last time.
The evil smirk, the enjoyment as her sword stabbed into flesh. The taunting to others. Not caring about anything except her own motives. Almost a year ago she had started to act that way. She lost almost everyone, except Remus and Edmund, but she knew that they both probably wanted to slap her and call her an idiot. Still, it's not like she wasn't still Felicity. Whatever part of her that was was still a part of her. Whether her fiancee liked it or not. She just didn't want him to ever see that side again.
Speaking of Remus, he was probably hunched over in the Principia drowning in paper work and scrunching his eyebrows together so that he gets the little bit of wrinkle between the brows. Felicity gave a slight smile. He worked too hard but these were tough times. He needed to focus and Felicity understood that. She wasn't going to be selfish and steal the camps praetor away because she was lonely. Besides, she had her own work to do. She was enrolled at the academia now and was constantly studying while also juggling a job and making sure she got some training.
Felicity glanced at the shadow on the floor from the bookcase. She focused on it, feeling drawn to it, she shook her head. No. Practice with shadows was not something to do in side unless needed. Besides, she still needed to show Remus what she had taught herself. Only really used it a couple of times. Once against Chris the other after being pushed by Discordia. It was murderous but it would come in handy against Saturns army of pathetic losers. Felicity knew Rhia was probably leading the charge. Fine, that concubine can destroy her relationship with Josh so she can spread her legs for the Titan so he can shower her with an army and power in position, it won't matter for too long anyway. By the time this war was over Felicity wanted to see her former legionnaires head rotting on a spike.
Her murderous train of thought was broken by a couple of older students passing by her seat giving a sideways glance and muttering something about the daughter of Pluto. Felicity rolled her eyes and got up from her seat and made her way deeper into the library of the academia. She skimmed the titles, Umbrakinesis , she was looking for books on the subject of her power in order to help her own self. That way she could in return help the camp in the impending war.
