Days and nights, everything was just the same, no matter if you were a monster or a demigod in that place everything was simply the same! Everyone were already used to a rutine, all of them trained everyday some with demigods, other amog monsters or among the things that Rhiannon had prepared for them in their trainings. Some new demigods and all of them were asigned to Edmund's or Nick's... 'cohorts' if you had to call them in any way. The demigods felt they were real evil for turning their backs on the gods, well... Maybe Edmund didn't care about that, Maybe Rhiannon was too focus on her Monsters... but Nick, he just couldn't stand that kind of weakness in his cohort. He hadn't before, he wouldn't for sure in that moment.

He ended up training his group really hard, he remindned the poor souls who they should obey like... for until their hearts stopped beating, that they were there because of Saturn and they must show him some respect instead of feeling to be masters of the world only because they were going against the gods. Then after that and sending them to the infirmary tent, he went to train with some monsters. After the first week when  he killed a couple, in his first training with them. Rhia forbid him to kill any of them, he wasn't sure if it was because she liked monsters or if it was because of numbers. But he promised her that he wouldn't kill them in practice.

Well, he had fullfill that request from the daughter of Trivia... and talking about the witch of witches... She was there too, one of the few gods and goddesses that were with the Titan, it was something more than weird. Not the fact that a goddess was with the titan, because along the history, gods had joined saturn and then joined Jupiter again, it was weird. No it was because She seemed to act... civil. For someone like Nick, someone that lost the woman he loved because the gods didn't move a finger, it was weird to see a goddess so sweet and tender at some people in there. He couldn't believe in her... he just couldn't!

Oh the gods had done a number on this one. Nicholas was something the gods dreamed of having as a play thing sometimes. Pretty face, nice Roman physique, and absolutely devoted to those he loved. That was what stories were made of. Perhaps if He hadn't been like that he wouldn't have to feel this heart ache, perhaps the woman he loved wouldn't have been turned into a thing to skewer and poke. As a goddess herself she knew how they worked, and they were quite finicky and often bored. Interesting people came up only once in a while, and with the temper and power of Mars at his disposal, with the grace of Venus? Oh he was a gem.

There were times she wondered if Rhiannon had fallen for someone other than Joshua, someone who wasn't so loyal, so good, so interesting, perhaps she wouldn't have had to go through the same things. With a remorseful sigh she couldn't see anyone else in Rhiannon's life who could have matched the girl. Her temper could rival that of a child of Mars, along with her obsession with bladed weapons. Her heart had been broken more than once already when Joshua came upon her, and he was the one to help heal it. His unbound loyalty. Yes, he would be the only one to save her daughters declining mental health. If only the little fool would stop thinking so lowly of himself.

Speaking of little fools, there was Nicholas. He wasn't her favorite, Edmund was by far a better play toy. The boy actually thought no one knew of his little messages to camp. It was really adorable. She knew, Mercury knew, the judges in the Underworld would know. Just a small part of the list, considering how the gods worked. This one though, the legacy of Mars and Venus with his very Roman way of doing things. It was funny to watch him struggle in this war. He killed those creatures quite marvelously, she saw no problems with it. They had been weak after all.

Her footsteps did not fall on the grass, but simply pushed it away like a breeze. Away from her foot falls, that she might not get dirt on her shoes. “Nicholas” she called out to him, she never had a weapon on her, it simply was not her way. Though her familiars lurked in near by shadows, as they always did. If she had need of them, or any familiar, she could call upon them. “Dear, marvelous job as a commander. I hope to see promising things from you in the coming war.” the smirk on her face betrayed nothing but the fact she was a beautiful woman. The hint of power in her eyes could be mistaken for insanity. Though who wasn't just a bit insane?

This Animal I have Become The monsters were already scared and upset to have to train with Nicholas, they feared him in many ways and for Nick it was just fine, he wasn't there to get too friendly with the monsters or to be his friend. He was there to train them in the ways of the roman legion, because even when the basics were the same, they still were different in many and multiple levels than the ancient roman legion, so those monsters needed to know all those slight changes if they wanted by any chance to win that war... But... would Nick want them to win?... YES!!... NO!!!... His mind was still a horrible windmill, he wasn't sure about anything anymore, he was there in front of a bunch of monsters that he had just defeated, he hadn't killed them, just defeated. All of them looked at him with a mix of fear and hate, which Nick didn't care at all. "If you think you'll be able to win this war with such skills, you're very wrong! you are going to be sent to tartarus again and again as long as you don't learn how to defeat one of us!" He yelled at them and then waved his hand at them in a dismisal way.  He turned and walked to a bench. He had acted like that, but the fact was that they had gotten him. He breathed deeply and winced in pain as the fresh air in his lungs only made him feel dizzier. He looked down and saw two small holes on it, then as he undid the ties of his leather armor, he heard the voice of a woman. He looked at the voice and tilted his head. Sometimes he couldn't put his thoughts in order, that day was one of those days. "You... I've seen you... around..." he said and then when she said he was a promise, he frowned and then shook his head trying to get focused, but between his crazy mind and the venom of one of the monsters, he couldn't properly. "Trivia... you are... what do you want?" He asked half politely.  He knew it was going to be really bad if he didn't start looking for the antidote in that moment, he knew Warlow had some in the medic tent, he had seen them there. It didn't require the goddess of discord to tell this young man had inner demons arguing with him, against him. Tearing his poor moral mind apart. Though as the goddess of poison she was able to know what flowed in his veins at this moment. The dracanae weapons were tipped in the vile concoction. It didn't affect Trivia in the slightest, no the only poison that might have a chance of giving her some ill effect were on the blades of Kampe herself. She happened to be on the same side of that particular creature at this time though. Supposedly on this side at any rate. She was more of a goddess who cared little for these power squabbles and more about her children. They were few and far between already, she had lost the most children last war despite having so few already. Though she supposed it was rather normal for those born of Mars to live through a war, and he certainly had more than she.

A legion of almost five hundred teenagers. Not what she'd ever want for her flesh and blood, and certainly not this meager collection of misfits and monsters. Not even the beautiful Nymphs were here, not many at any rate, and many seemed to think ill of her. Perhaps since she took their mortal souls and made them into nature spirits. Beauty like that was simply not meant to wither and die, though some Nymphs were born of nature themselves. Almost like children of Ceres. She did miss her friend, as crazy as she was. Leading her around a bit in search of her daughter as Pluto and Proserpina had a nice little holiday together, their honey moon. She did love Ceres, and shared a connection to nature and the earth with her. But she was absolutely crazy when it came to her daughter.

A smirk came playfully to her red lips “Do try to not forget about me, my feelings might be hurt.” she said in a slightly threatening manner. She could reduce the boy to a mewling quim if she so desired. “Tick tock, that poison must be starting to hurt you right now.” her voice was a bit mocking, but not overly so. Subtle hints of jest at his expense. Looking over him she knew he was simply not her type. For men she much preferred thous who were intelligent, with quick wit and a sharp tongue. Of course they simply had to be fun as well, and have a kind heart. Edmund filled a few of those traits, sharp tongue, fun. Not entirely smart though, but not an idiot. Nick on the other hand, she found little more than amusement in. “Does it ache? Tingle? I can't feel it myself, I would so like to know.”
