Tag: Remus Words: 571 Notes: Hope it's okay? | I'd rather sleep my whole life away Her father had always told her not to disrespect those older than she, and those in a leadership position above her. Honestly it wasn't lady like to disrespect anyone. Though she had gone a bit too far in what she said to Remus Stone. Yes, saying something about his leadership skills while he was under such pressure already was too much. He is a son of Mars, and she had seen the pride he takes in his work. The sometimes overly large ego that he could have as well, something not unfamiliar to herself. She indecently had hurt her own pride with that unkind display. She was supposed to be a little lady, and wanted to help people get over that emotional constipation Roman's had. Not force them farther into it. Though she was happy to hear he was going to see Lady Venus for counsel. Even if the goddess wasn't exactly someone she would go to for such things. She was frivolous and played with romantic relationships that she liked for the fun of it. Making them difficult, and by her own strange definition more fun to watch. Certainly the woman was a goddess, with unrivaled knowledge in matters of love and a few other things but Miyuki had her father. Who else did she need to take advice from? He was the greatest among the gods, and the best father she could ask for. A not too small stack of doughnuts was being piled onto a plastic plate, then covered with a stiff plastic cake cover. Certainly no one could deny an apology accompanied by food. She'd spoken with him on a few occasions and it seemed none of them went well. Sleeping during the day and almost throwing him to the ground, thank goodness for him being a son of Mars. She normally did well with that, and even practiced martial arts with Charlie once in a while. Normally she'd be beaten in the end, Miyuki didn't know anywhere near as many holds and strike patterns that Charlie knew. Though these where the same types of doughnuts his sister liked, perhaps tastes transferred a bit? She knew he liked stir fry, and wasn't allergic to chocolate. She couldn't exactly put stir fry into a doughnut, well she could but that would be a bit weird. Stuffing bacon crumbles into one was about as crazy as she would go with that. Possibly because she still tried to make somewhat healthy foods when cooking. Even her doughnuts were baked instead of fried. On her way to the Principia she snacked on her own green tea doughnut. She might have one in the box, but mostly the dougnuts where not something so unusual. Of course there was chocolate, chocolate chip, powdered sugar coated, and cinnamon coated doughnuts. Which all where perfect for coffee in her opinion, and cake like doughnuts absorbed drinks better than the bread ones. If she made bread doughnuts she'd for certain deep fry them. It make them crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. Too soon she was at the Praetors door. Again she went over the little apology in her head, how she would explain her actions. What she had meant. Hopefully this encounter would go better. Opening the door she gave a bit of a knock at the door she smiled at Remus. “I don't mean to intrude, I brought some apology doughnuts.” Than have you keep me from dreaming Lyrics from Fairytale by Sara Bareilles Code done by step |
