The curly haired brunette walked along the cobblestone street of the European city she was in. Where was she now anyways? Judging from the language, a Germanic one. Switzerland, Germany or Austria. It really didn't matter. Having to jump around to avoid monster attacks was wearing her out, but at least Discordia tried to keep her comfortable while being on the run. A small drizzle began. Great. Felicity pulled the hood up on the jacket she nabbed in the previous city. She left to train, and that was what she had been doing. Right now was just a break from the rigorous training she had set up for her working with Shadow manipulation. Feeling the shadows within the body, it made her feel powerful, worth something, she just wanted more of that feeling. Of actually being recognized. Maybe she had always been this crazy and she just tried to hide it, it came out before, and now it was coming out again.
"I miss Remus...." Felicity ended up thinking out loud as she hugged herself, crossing over a bridge with a river underneath, she stopped and walked over to the railing, watching as the rain hit the water, giving it an almost shiny appearance. She really did miss Remus, and regret leaving the way she had. How many excuses had she come up with in her head to make it seem like it was okay for her to leave. Millions. But in reality, what she did was selfish, and she knew that. She was being power hungry and chasing after it, releasing herself from the rules and regulations New Rome and Camp Jupiter had set upon her. But still, she left behind her life, her identity. Maybe she could always figure out where Edmund was and steal him on her little adventure. Then again, she wasn't even sure if he survived the war and even if he had, whose to say he wasn't at the praetors chopping block?
Perhaps she should just run into a shadow and show up back at Camp with a great big entourage of people and claim it was for the television show Punk'd! She sighed as she crossed her arms and placed her head on the railing of the bridge. That was absurd. Still, what Apollo had told her was running around in her head. That if she kept on the path she was on, she could end up being a monster one day. And the vision. It still haunted her at night. True, Discordia tried to console her afterwards. But Felicity still questioned it, herself. She hated this, the stupid life of a demigod. What was it worth anyway? To be born and raised only to find out you might not make it to your twenties.
Felicity glanced around. The streets were pretty much abandoned thanks to the rain. She looked back at the river underneath the bridge, how deep was it? The rain made the water rush, probably had enough force. All of a sudden Felicity found herself climbing over the rail, being on the opposite side, holding on and looking down. Even if the water didn't have enough force, there was probably some servant of Neptune there to drag her to the watery grave. Her stupid Uncle, both of them. Stupid father. Stupid life.
