Well Amelia was a great help in throwing this baby shower she didn't really want. Eh. She seemed like she needed something, a little extra to keep her mind off things. She was pregnant too, Rhiannon ran into her at the maternity store one day. She never really liked those kinds of girly girls, but it's not like she could have left her alone with those big sad brown eyes. Accursed puppy eyes and the people who could imitate them. Oh well, she was doing this baby shower thing now. So she figured she'd add Amelia into it too. She didn't exactly tell her, though she did find out a little about the people Amelia really loved. Mostly Nick and Gabriel. So those two where coming. She hadn't seen Nick since he died, it was a little weird when she heard he was a Lar now. Good for him though. With his girlfriend training kids until the world stopped spinning. She couldn't do the living forever thing herself, it'd hurt too much. Maybe with Josh she could though.
Okay. Josh and Amelia helped her with the food stuff the day before, and some of the decorating so they wouldn't have to do it in the morning. Then this morning she got out the banner that included Amelia's name on it. She kind of meant to tell Amelia about including her in the baby shower, but oh well. Surprises where fun. Except blow horns. Not fun. She made it mostly purple, and used some blue decorations from the wedding too. It wasn't obnoxiously Roman purple, but it was still a bit. She might have suggested to all the guests that it was a double Baby Shower, and gifts would probably be split and traded. In case someone got two of the same and the other didn't get it or something like that. Rhiannon wasn't sure how these things worked, just tried to inform everyone the general idea behind this, whatever this was.
Banner, up. Tiny gift bags, done. Enough food to hopefully keep Mercury and one of his boys satisfied, the world can only hope. There were pickles, deviled eggs, some cheese ham puff things. Rhiannon wasn't sure what to call everything, it was more like she made what tasted good. Since getting a house, and extra mouths to feed, she'd been testing out recipes. Lots of recipes. It was something to do as she tried settling down from War, and being trapped in an infirmary room for a month.
Everything was cleared off, paper plates, cups, drink, and probably enough food to feed a highschool football team was almost done. She gave a ten to fifteen minute gap for people to arrive and hopefully not get cold food. She really hated mass amounts of people, and her version of mass was five. Five people were too many, but with Josh's family making random visits she was getting maybe a little used to dealing with it. Mostly with long naps afterward.
