Charlie had worked hard to get together her costume for the party. It was lots of hard work and she had pricked her fingers plenty of times as she borrowed Tessa's sewing needles. Clare had helped her find the fabric shop and she was so grateful for their help. Tessa had even helped her by making her a little Pascal, the green chameleon that she had fastened to her shoulder. Edmund had even helped by crafting her a frying pan for her to swing around. Tangled had been one of her favorite movies, so it was something she wanted to do. Really and truly she was excited about her costume. Sure she had bought so much fabric, but she thought she was going to mess up so bad that she was going to need it. She had even gotten a temporary hair lengthening potion that she had gotten help braiding and sticking the flowers in it. IT was still cool, but she went barefoot to add to the costume. She really was happy with the results.
She really wasn't into the whole candy thing, other kids were. But she was there for the caramel apples. Oh she loved those. She could remember getting them and her mother would steal a bite from her. They were her favorite thing in the world. And the popcorn balls, and she could even remember the one time that someone had given her a tooth brush in her halloween bag. Who does that?! But if she remembered correctly, the mom that lived there had been a dental Hygenist. But still. Charlie happily hopped through the Halloween party, stopping only once to give a little legacy girl a hug. She put her finger to her lips and smiled. The girl then squealed and ran off. But she hopped around, poking her friends that she knew and running off giggeling like crazy. Yes, it was safe to say that she was happy about something.
