The forest seemed so still in the days that had passed. Kailyna strolled through the greenery, looking up at the to massive beings that created beautiful silhouettes among the land beneath  her. To her even trees could be someone, they had become her only friends the past few moons. Between her companions leaving for the war, mystery missions, and some just left with out a word and never came back, Kalyna felt her heart weighing heavy.

The young woman found her favorite fallen tree. It had been so large at one time, that it made her wonder what caused it to crash down from the heavens. With a shake of her head to clear her mind as she crawled up to her usual spot. Once she was settled in, she could feel the wind dancing with her ginger kissed locks, caressing the stars that dangled from her lobes. A soft sigh passed the young demi-goddess lips, her soft gray optics slowly shifting to a tender blue. 

"It seems my only friends are the sweet inhabitants of these lovely woods. Today I shall recite a poem I wrote." Kai's body seemed to relax, slowly closing her eyes. She could feel the forest around her waiting in anticipation, it had been her only audience after all. "The title of my work is The Storm Inside." 

I have a storm wave inside. 
Once I fell for you games,
I fell for those lying eyes. 
You wished to dominate my spirit,
to share me with the enemy of my heart. 
I pulled away, 
did what was right for me. 
I was a fool to keep you around,
you only fueled the brewing within.
I moved on and found happiness,
but you wished to drag me back in,
saying you loved me and not her.
But those you trusted whispered the truth. 
You thought this child of the moon was fooled,
I have wised up to your games.
Now I unleash the darkness,
the pain you caused,
the raging storm that is my siren self. 

When she had finished reciting the poem, Kai seemed to slump back against the tree. The woods never ceased to amaze her, or her ideals that everything little thing was so beautiful and should be cherished. She just wished that something new would happen. She had not really been on any adventures in a long while honestly, maybe due to her grieving over the loss of so many fallen. "I guess once again I have a day alone. The peace and quiet is nice, but I do miss him at times." Her head tilted to the left, as she now rotated to rest on her side, using her left arm as a pillow. Her right hand rose up to trace out a name in the air. "Travis...... You were my first kiss, my first betrayal of the heart. I just wished you had not been taken so easily, I had hoped you had more of a rebellious spirit. I guess that like me, war and confrontation were not  a part of you, war  was supposed to be a part of you, not love nor dishonoring your place with in your family." Her hand then came to rest at her chest, playing with her charm. Soon enough Kai became lost in herself, humming a soft tone for any creature that happened to listen.

The woods was always a place of solace. Erich felt at home here more than he did in the library. That was saying something. He had a mission to do and he finally had acquired all of the materials to do it. He had his usual messanger pack in tow, something that he used to tote all of his materials and books in, as well as the newly made Rod that he had constructed last New Moon. The fall air was upon them already and he could feel a tingle in his power. There was something about the cold fall and winter air that made him feel more alive, more focused, there was more clarity in his mind. Maybe it had something to do with his mother's underworld powers, who knew at this point. HE would make a mental note to ask his mother the next time he had a chance to speak with her. He wasn't sure. There were a good deal many things that Erich did know and right now he knew that his sister had a birthday coming up. And while he didn't exactly get along with the little brat, he knew that he had to do something for his friends arrival back home. He had done a divination spell of the most basic kind, searching for Josh, but his spell had only given him enough of a glimpse that it would be soon. Soon was such a vague word. And while he did not like it, it gave him enough hope to continue.

But right now he was going to work on his transmutation circle that he had in the woods. There was a ley line that ran right through the middle of the woods and was marked by the creek. The creek ran nearly exactly atop the ley line. It was powerful, no doubt about it. But as Erich ran along the creek, he deviated from the path briefly. He came upon a flat topped rock where he held most of his circles at. It was at the axis of the power of the ley line. And the ley line, like his focus rod, was merely a tool to help channel his power. His kinetomancy was on a mastery level. He wasn't a master just yet but he was close to it. That's what he was going to do with his circle today. The transfer of energy from one sort to another. It was the purpose of his pentacle that he wore upon his chest. To store up energy and then release it at a later date.

Erich found his flat topped rock, setting down his bag he flipped the top open, rummaging through and taking out things here and there as he picked up a large piece of chalk and his well worn notebook. He flipped it to the page that he needed. He drew his circle, replicating it exactly as he narrowed his eyes in concentration. His mind was focused on his work as he did a double look over from one side of the circle to the other. The son of Triva then went back to rifle through his bag, producing the ingrediants needed to pull energy from. All of the elements were present. Well almost all of them. Erich placed a small brazier down. "Flickum Biccus!" He said as the flames leaped from his hands and into the tinder, the flames licking brightly. Then he set down a small bowl, he drew his dagger across his palm, allowing a few drops to be caught in the basin. He placed it in the water section. A small bouquet of edelweiss in the earth section, and then at last, a jar of contained lightening to form a small whirling and crackling elemental to be placed in the air slot.

Erich then finally placed the necklace of steel in the center. An eagle necklace as he then stood north of it, opening up the other leather bound notebook. There was the spell he needed. HE muttered it quickly and rapidly in perfect German. Then again in Latin and once in Arabic. He repeated the trio of the spell as he watched the circle glow with a bright red glare. Again he repeated it, trying hard to control the power flowing from his arm. The lightening crackeled up his arm as the flames swirled, flickering up wards as flecks of the rock was chipped away. Erich set his jaw, grounding his teeth together as the power threatened to over take him. No that was not going to happen, not this time. The spell was getting way too out of control. With his other hand, he yanked his seeming stuck hand on the rod, pulling it out of the vortex of power. There was a flash of light, the sound of a small explosion racked the forest as the power of the unleashed energy threw Erich backwards, making him skid along the ground. Every bone in his body protested as he hit a tree. Gods, he thought as his body screamed at him as he tried to stand up, too much power and not enough of a failsafe in the equation. HE'd he to go back and look at what he had done wrong. Erich dusted himself off, picking up the strewn contents of the bag as he looked back at the top of the rock. The necklace glowed white and blue with heat as it was still intact. He wasn't stupid enough to pick it up right now. Erich's shoulders were smoldering, there was dirt and char smudged on his fave and he could feel the warmth of blood trickeling down from his hand and his forehead. Oh Tessa was probably going to kill him if he wandered into the infirmary. Oh wait, she was supposed to be relaxing, maybe if he talked to lilith, he wouldn't get so much guff. His eyes closed as he slumpped back against the tree, letting out a breath and a sigh. gods his whole body hurt to move.

Kai felt herself become pulled out of her own mind space, as a thundering explosion erupted behind her. Quickly the museling, jumped off her fallen tree landing on her feet, her hands braced against the soft earth beneath her. "What was that?" Walking around to further investigate, she saw what appeared to be a male form fly across and hit one of the other trees. Cautiously, Kai walked over to further investigate, as she watched what she now assumed to be a male, slump back against the tree. 

The young woman approached the male, crouching now before him as she spoke, "So..... A little more umph then you expected?" A tender smile graced her face, her optics their usual steel gray. "I say that was some explosion over there, trying to scare away everyone in forest?" She giggled softly placing her right index finger to her lip as she looked up at the sky, as if pondering. "Or were you trying to summon someone here? Either way I say you are need a good bath. Phew you smell like burnt hair, maybe even some medical attention. I am no doctor, i am just an entertainer so I personally don't know what you need though." She returned her gaze back to the male before her. 

Kailyna stood up, putting her hands out to him, as if a gesture to help him up. "It would be rude of me not to offer to help you up though. I am sure what ever you were doing you probably want to get back to it or something. Oh I am Kailyna by the way, but you can call me Kai."
