It was Sunday, sure it was a little early but he hadn't been able to sleep well the past few days. Ty had slept enough that he wasn't a walking rombie (roman zombie). He took a long drink of coffee, someone in the barracks had a coffee pot and the general rule was if you empty it, start it back up. He downed a cup before getting ready. A nice button down shirt and his jacket, some nicely pressed jeans and his shoes. He had his backpack and a pocket full of denarii. There was one thing missing but he'd get that later. Ty had something to do later that evening, but he was sure that Miyuki would help him. Or at least he hoped that she would help. He wanted to do something for his mom and dad, something different then bringing home a shining piece of new armor or weapon. He even got his hair looking a bit alright as he stared at himself in the mirror. Ty thought he done a good enough job. He looked decent, he wasn't as handsome as either of his grandfathers, but he looked at least half way decent. The Mercury girls that kept stealing his shirts thought he looked alright.

He waited outside the girls barracks of fifth cohort. His backpack slung over a shoulder with easy. Ty felt like he was getting a bit antsy. He was a little early, but he didn't want to seem too over anxious. Ty had almost paced a hole in the bathroom floor as he sorted out everything in his mind that could possibly go wrong. He could get zapped by her dad, her friends could appear and stick his head in the forge fire, he could get zapped by her dad, he could have spinach in his teeth, he could get zapped by her dad, death was a very real possibility right now. Ty had always made it a point to stay alive but he did like to flirt with death every so often. And he was an adrenaline junkie at the best of times. Jumping off of the aqueduct seventy to eighty feet up in the air and waiting till the last possible moment to use a buffer of air to cushion his fall. It was probably stupid but he would  get in trouble constantly for climbing on roof tops of his neighbors houses. But now he had to wait for something. For Miyuki.

Mornings were not the most pleasant of rituals for the sleepy headed daughter of dreams. She'd sit up in her bed for a good thirty minutes before actually getting up and moving around. Sometime people would pass a had in front of her face, and get no reaction from her. If you touched her shoulder on the other hand she would readily flip you over her bed onto the floor. Possibly put a knee in your back as well, but that depended on how close to being fully aware she was. She had tried something like that with Remus once, she woke up after she realized what she was doing. Luckily she hadn't thrown the Praetor, though she'd brag to her father about it for days if she had. No doubt her father would never let Mars here the end of it either.

Her alarm went off, and no one was all too happy. Some girls where up and out of bed already, but there was still a large number that had a pillow over their heads to keep the sun and noise away. Miyuki woke up several times in the night, the soft careful steps next to her bed while people went to the bathroom or the snoring of people around her. She loved to get a good nights sleep, but it was so difficult. She woke up easily, perhaps not all the way awake, but enough to disturb her. She was like her grandfather in that aspect, his brother was said to be the quietest of the gods because of it. Even more than Lord Mercury, which must be quite the feat.

Breakfast. What does one wear to breakfast other than pajama's? Deep dark eyes looked over her clothing, until she finally pulled something out of her closet to hold up against her thin frame. “Hmm. No” she tossed it onto her bed, going through to look again. Again. Again she looked, until she finally found what she wanted. At least something that seemed suitable for a second date, and breakfast. A simple warm grey dress, and a soft blue button up shirt she had gotten from another girl. In fact it was one of Tynairs shirts, and supposedly the rest where just as safe. Sometimes about being night shirts now, which honestly even Miyuki had a collection of guys shirts she used to sleep in. Also on the days she wasn't feeling dressy. There was at least one shirt from Ronan she was certain she'd worn as a dress before. There was also an Eskimo suit from her father, but that wasn't stolen. That was placed over her bikini when she went on a beach trip with Apollo, and several other campers.

When she stepped out it was still a bit early for the date, but Tyrnair was standing there with a pack on his shoulder. “Hey handsome.” she said with a smile, flats on her feet. Though if it were a dinner date she'd be dressed much more formally, and wearing high heels. Breakfast seemed the most laid back of all the meals. “Didn't wait for long did you?” her smile was coy, and flirtatious. She had her gloves on today, the dress was long and her arms were covered by the sleeves of the shirt she wore. Ends rolled up a little bit, since they would go past her hands if not.

Ty still hadn't quite understood the things of the female persuasion. Like the whole thing with his shirts being stolen. He didn't understand why people had done it. Nick had said something about the people stealing his shirt were Venus girls. The thought of stealing someone's shirt was quite odd to him. Sure he liked girls, and there were some that he liked more than others, but the ones that kept stealing his shirts were borderline annoyances and slightly on the obsessive side. It was weird. Like really weird. He pointedly ignored the one girl who smiled at him, batting her eyelashes in a flirtatious manner. Ty really didn't want much to do with her. He had something else on his mind this morning. He leaned against the door frame. He was too early and he thought that maybe he should have slept in. No. The thought barely paused in his mind as he entertained briefly. It wasn't good to keep the ladies waiting. You waited on them, that's what his dad had told him about girls. Not that he and his dad talked much any more. To be in the same room as his dad was just quite painful now. There wasn't much that he could ask about. OR talk about. Ty kicked at the ground with his worn pair of Converses. The bright blue shoes stood well against the jeans and the button down shirt.

Ty's head perked up at the sound of Miyuki's voice. No time for self-loathing now that the beautiful girl was here. He grinned. Miyuki was a different sort of girl. Most of the ones around here were too shy, too out there, or too forward. She was different. He didn't quite know how to phrase it, she was just different. “Hey beautiful.” He said in response to her hey handsome comment. She looked beautiful in the gloves and the grey dress with the flats. He then glared at a girl who had given Miyuki such a scathing look. He recognized the girl as one of the members in his so called fan club. They were quite irksome. The girl then turned to gossip with her two friends. He shook his head and then offered her his arm. “Might I escort you to breakfast?” He said, flashing her a crooked grin. He really wanted to treat Miyuki to a good time. She deserved it. Though her father had made one thing clear, that if Ty touched his little girl, there would be hell to pay. Ty didn't care though, if it was easy, everyone would do it. To top it off, anything worth doing was worth the challenge.

“I didn't keep you waiting too long did I?” she asked politely, touching his face as her glared at someone over her shoulder. She had few doubts that other girls were being gossip centers of jealousy at the moment. “They like the attention, don't let them have it” a peaceful smile crossed her face as the looked up to his eyes. Trying to catch them, keep his attention. She had dealt with those kinds of girls before, she lived with a lot of them. It was never something she was concerned about, girl politics weren’t all that difficult. Especially when you knew exactly which buttons to push, though Miyuki saved that for when the pranks hurt other people. Her sweet smile hid a devastating enemy, if you chose to have her as such. Still there were a lot of people who hated that she never killed anyone in the wars. Not enemy demigods, and not even monsters. She couldn't fault them for that hate, monsters killed their friends after all.

Threading her arm through his she gave a bit of a laugh, one that was light and friendly. “Of course you may.” He was quite a gentleman, though he had met her father on the first date already. Her father was so very protective of her, she wished he wasn't always that way. Though it was nice that he cared so much. His love lead to much more jealousy than even standing close to Tyrnair would do. Perhaps not so bad now as it was before, but she knew even Josh had been jealous of her. That she got to spend so much time with her father, that her mother was alive and well. Traveling around the world as a beautiful violinist, playing pieces of such exquisite elegance that it brought tears to the most hardened of men. Thank goodness her mother was never into men like Lord Mars, or most of the other gods. Miyuki didn't know what she would do if her mother had a child with another man. She scarce knew how to handle finding out her father had children with other women. That was a long time ago though. Sibling love was not scarce from her now.

While Miyuki knew in general what she was going to do, she hardly cared for the details. Perhaps it was part of her father, dealing in dreams you knew little about the details. Something happened, and you might know or you might not. It was fun either way. So here with Tyrnair she would have fun, if she decided to keep dating him she would and if not then she would stop. Simple. The hope of it being simple was there at least. Thankfully her father would always be there for her to talk to if anything went horribly wrong. Which sometimes it did, and he would always make her feel better. Though talking her father out of murdering someone was helpful to her moods too.
