Felicity had never actually seen the first cohort barracks. Sure she had glanced at it from time to time but never actually stopped to see what made it so much more better. Which to anyone who just glances at it would think nothing but upon closer inspection it was obvious the camps money had some expense to pamper the living area of the best campers they had to offer. Having lived in fourth she could tell the difference. There was no chipping pain or detailed on the exterior of the first's barracks and it seemed to be made of slightly better material to add a bit of insulation. Little details, but it still made her stomach churn with jealousy that her brother had gotten to live in someplace slight better while she practically got the lower end of the bargain in the fourth, not as bad as fifth mind you but still. Not to day Felicity didn't like the fourth cohort, no it would always hold a place in her heart. The people there were her friends stomach like it or not the people she grew up with until she was ultimately discharged for raising Saturn and basically starting a war, but that was the past. She knew she had made enough mistakes to last forever and that plenty of people had good reasons to hate her or shun her. Unfortunately one of those people was her very own brother.
They were never the ideal siblings. They barely ever associated and Felicity kind of wanted to change that. After all one of her closest friends was Amelia, her soon to be sister in law. It didn't make sense to be closer to your brothers wife than your brother. Plus, with having been kidnapped and what she experience and even know kept experiencing she kind of needed someone. Someone who understood what the he gifts from her father meant and how soul crushing it was to lose them. Or in her case, have them blocked somehow. And if she ended up dying because of trying to fix it then at least she wanted to appear in court and look her dad in the fave and say she fixes things with her brother and that his two kids finally got along. It was all part of her "I knew I screwed up before, but im better now" plan. Heck, she had even tried to talk to Warlow and be nice to her which was a huge stretch since they never, ever got along. But back to the point. With a deep breath she raised her hand a knocked it four times in a rhythm on them mens barracks door. She knew that they didn't have training at this moment she just hoped that meant Gabe would actually be here and she wouldn't be standing there awkwardly like an idiot.
