To be honest Rhiannon was having a mild anxiety attack. This was not the kind of thing she did, but for Art and for Josh this was something she felt she had to do. Didn't make it any easier. She loved logic, to think things through and figure out a good solution. Anxiety attacks where not logic. Trying to rationalize with it was completely useless, and she ended up standing in a shadowed area away from prying eyes. Her heart thumping loudly in her chest as she pressed down on it trying to get it to stop beating so heard. Repeatedly she licked her lips, swallowed the dryness of her throat. Sunk a little bit to the ground so not one could find her in her current state of mind. Weakness was not something you showed other people. Not unless they were close to you. Then maybe, and only maybe, you could show all your weak moments.
Wiping away tears and deliberately controlling her breath she managed to wait it out. Managed to over come what she thought of as an over reaction to nothing but a doctors visit. Medical professionals where doctors and it didn't matter if it was mental or physical. She never thought much of mental breakdowns. Those where just for weak people, like seeking out advice from a psychiatrist was only for the crazy and the pathetic. Who had told her other wise? She couldn't exactly put a name on it, though she remembered some strange bubbly boy trying to talk to people about these things. Someone else who had come to her door about it, and causing her to go a little off skelter. She flipped a table. No bueno.
Poised as well as she could, head high and trying to attain something of a laid back look instead of the panic that still fluttered in the back of her mind. She calmed her heart forcefully, a lazy glance back and forth before crossing the street. First thing was first, and this was absolutely not her delaying walking into a psychiatrists office, she needed something to drink. Whatever place was near by, some kind of food and beverage place, she went there. Water was gross. It tasted gross, but she got some anyway. It was good for you, and gods know she needed to be hydrated as much as possible when having to go home to a baby, a Mercury kid, sometimes Mercury himself. At least Edmund was pretty easy to get along with, as long as he ate. Everyone in the house tried to get him to eat, most likely when Arthur got old enough he'd try and feed Ed too. The thought did bring a smile to her face, just before she grimaced at the cold water.
