Remus had been staying here two weeks now. No, over a week. Since she left. She'd told him she'd only be gone a week. That she needed a little space. He respected her and wanted to help her and, well, if that meant she needed to get away, he would support her still. Her delay was worrying him though. He sat on the couch of her apartment and tried haphazardly to keep reading The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde but it was slow going. He was worried sick. He'd been sleeping badly all this last week. Even the flowers he'd bought her a week ago for her homecoming were looking a little sad too, despite how hard he tried to keep them up and cheerful for her. He found himself staring at them. The ones that weren't fading still held their lovely colors. They were mostly lilies, with a little baby's breath. The baby's breath was hanging in like it was a true Roman flower, unlike its less than Roman name. The lilies, no matter how carefully he watered them, looked far from as fresh and peppy as they were when she was expected home a week ago. He sighed. He'd tried calling her before, but it didn't seem to want to work. Like getting a busy signal or something strange. Something was up for sure. There was just nothing he could really do about it, considering... well, sure he could try to get to the Underworld to find her, but what were the chances of A) him finding her and B) him making it back here? He needed her though. She was his everything and... he just couldn't lose her. He gave in and put his bookmark in place before grabbing the pillow next to him and staring at it. "What am I going to do? What if she's left me again? But she wouldn't do that, right? Not again. I know she wouldn't. She must be in trouble. Something has to be wrong. Maybe I should go to Lord Pluto's temple and ask his help. Yes, that would be good." Yes, he was talking to a pillow.
