It wasn't much. Actually, for someone with no green thumb it was pretty remarkable. For someone with a green thumb it might look pathetic. But really it was spur of the moment. Pluto had been checking up on things, in disguise around New Rome and Camp Jupiter. Checking up on his descendants and had needed something to relax himself before he went to talk to a certain Punisher of Oaths later that afternoon. So that was why he ended up buying out one of the greenhouses in New Rome and found this tiny empty field in the middle of the forest and created a slight garden.
Now for someone who knew PLuto thy would think the old god had finally gone insane. But he hadn't, he was just lonely. He missed his lovely wife. It had been three months since her mother had picked her up. Ever since then his life was dark and dreary. Proserpina really was the light inside of his bleak world. It took all his will power to not find some meager mortal woman to sleep with just to try to feel something during this time. But he had been good in the past few years. The last mortal woman he had touched was Felicity's mother. That was nineteen years ago. Which was good considering the small gap between Felicity and Gabes age meaning that those were some tough years for him once Proserpina realized. And that one song about every rose having it's thorns? Yeah, Pluto knew about that first hand.
But that was another reason he had made this garden. He was hoping to catch the Spring goddess's attention first hand. He had no idea how many flowers were actually needed but he wasn't sure how much more he could fit into this field. Or how many would survive in this field for that matter too. He could only hope that his efforts would be rewarded. After all, it was not easy for him to do.
