Okay this was totally not cool, Erich thought as he scrambled to cover up his work as the rain started to down pour. It wasn't a nice gentle rain either, it was the down pouring, ground pounding, someone up there was pissed off sort of rain. Thunder rumbled and Erich did the best he could to protect his research. Scrambling to the wheel house, at least in here it was dry. Some of his work was a little wet, but at least it was just the edges and outside he could see the driving rain. One minute it was nice out, a few puffs of clouds here and there, suddenly it went all doom and gloom with a rumble of thunder and crack of lightening. Hmm, Erich thought as he watched the lightening flash across the sky, if only he could harness that power and energy, he'd have to find a good conduit and conductor......
Erich looked around the musty old wheelhouse on the Aqueduct. There were spider webs and cobwebs and there was a thick layer of dust coated a good deal of the area. He sneezed before he dug into the pack on his hip, pulling a couple of candles out and placing them in high places so the light could reach everything. "Flickum Biccus!" He said as he waved his hand, the candles around him jumping to life, flickering and sputtering. Gently wiping the leather bound books off, Erich continued to pursue them as he gently dried off the books. His mother, the goddess of magic, well she was pretty damned cool in his opinion. He liked his powers and he liked having power. HE did not like having his power stripped from him like they did in the government facility. And What had they done to his Mika? He had to get more power so he could make sure that nothing ever happened like that again.
