So I put my faith in something unknown I'm living on such sweet nothing But I'm tired of hope with nothing to hold I'm living on such
sweet nothing
Water, Sweet water that was all she needed. Sure the water wasnt like the ocean or the lake but she liked it none the less. Her mother was the goddess of storms and her powers played off her emotions so she enjoyed the indoors where she didn`t have to worry about making it storm on everyone else if she lost control. Neveah could hear the sounds of people in the other baths and with a grown she pushed herself under the water holding her breath with ease for a few seconds before letting herself back up into the real world. She was wearing a blue swim suit which was quite modest for a girl her age, it as a one piece to be exact. She was only fourteen after all. Taking a deep breath she pushed herself under the water again closing her eyes as the sounds of the world around her were silenced, it was so peaceful in the silence and she had so much comfort in that moment that when she needed a breath she shot up like a firecracker and inhaled deeply.
"Darn it Nev, how do you forget to breath." she thought to herself and shook her head. Some of the water went everywhere it was a mess and a few droplets of water slipped down her cheeks. It was nice to be alone but then her peace was broken upon the sound of arriving footsteps behind her. She frowned slightly and dropped her eyes to the water to keep from making eye contact, she never liked to look people in the eyes it exposed to much. "Hello, I`m sorry I can leave if you want....I was just about done anyways." She bit her lip after speaking. It wasnt hard for her to make friends and she probably could have attempted to be more welcoming but she had a deep down bad feeling about this meeting that would take place. Her eyes locked on the water and she fought back a frown as she sat in the water. She waved her hands back and forth under the water to give her something to look at. She was still a little jumpy after the wars and the other events.
Life happened and as children of the gods there was no telling how much of a problem could come ones way. She wanted to be friendly to this person but what if they themselves had been hurt in one of the wars or lost a loved one? She didnt quite know how to handle those yet so she kept herself quite and wiggled her toes under the water. She always found a way to take her mind off the things she thought about, She quickly remembered that someone had joined her in the room and frowned moving to look at them with her best gentle smile she could manage. "My apologizes where are my manners, My names Neveah." She moved to stand up the water quickly falling around her as she held out her hand to the boy. She`d seen him around but she`d never caught his name before this. As far as she knew they were the same age. With that Neveah bit her lip and waited for the boy to either accept her shake or to deny her the right to it, either way she doubted he`d want the company and she still had her plans to leave. She hoped he wouldnt mind her running out after they had just met but she felt like she would only be a bother to him.
