So I put my faith in something unknown I'm living on such sweet nothing But I'm tired of hope with nothing to hold I'm living on such
sweet nothing
Training, sleeping, eating, then training again and the cycle continued over and over again until it became a lifestyle, that was the Roman ways it was embedded in them that that was how you lived, the air you breathed, and the way you were. Romans were warriors, strong independent warriors who fought with honor, but lately the wars had come at a great price for many. She knew some people who lost loved one, lost body parts, heck she knew people who even died in the war. She herself had gotten PTSD from the wars and now that everything was settling down a little she could work on it, but there was something she needed done and she knew only one girl who could do it, Nova. The two where the same age both only fourteen year old girls and while Nev had gotten out with merely ptsd nova had been bound to a wheelchair. The others where doing everything they could to help but it was never the same for Neveah, She skipped to the forge and smiled pushing open the door with a soft grunt. "Nova Darling, I`ve come to see you!" she sang in a sing songy voice and moved towards the work space of the young daughter of Vulcan.
She had just finished training so her hair was pulled back into a nice tight bun, it wasnt perfect so she had little hairs sticking out here and there, probably because she was getting knocked onto her butt all the time. She stopped at the girls work space a giant smile on her face as she spoke, "How are you today Nova?" She raised a brow and tilted her head to the side, other than the fact that Nev was in a purely hot place and was the daughter of the storm goddess all was well. She was sweating slightly her black jumpsuit hid it well but the fact was there was still water running down her body constantly. The forge was not a place for children who werent born to be in the heat, it was warm and toasty but she never understood how even the god Vulcan and his children lived in this environment for so long. She stretched herself out and let out a big yawn, "So would you like to go for a stroll, or maybe get a bite to eat? I just got out of training." She shrugged and looked over the daughter of Vulcan.
Neveah couldnt help but feel bad for Nova, she didnt want to feel bad for Nova but she did, she had no clue how to live her life on her own two feet but this girl was in a wheel chair. Fate was not fair, no part of life was ever fair and she hated it for that. Part of her wanted to switch places with Nova but even then she thought she might be a little to scared to do so. So she pursed her lips and moved twiddle her thumbs while she waited for an answer. There was a lot the two girls could go and do, not like anyone would stop them if they decided to run about and cause havoc.....well then again there was a chance someone would have stopped them. She bit her lip and moved a little ways from Nova. She examined some of the weapons and designs laying about, one thing was for certain these kids had talent and she loved that about them. In a way they were artist and they could create something beautiful, she envied her for that because all she could do was create storms.
Every demi god was given a gift and while nova could use hers to help people she was stuck with a a pointless unhelpful gift that caused her to be well, stormy at times. Sure it came in handy during a fight, I mean who would want to fight in the rain and with water in there eyes? Sure she had a special ability and she loved her mother for it but what good did she have to offer the camp? After her little eyes had scanned over the things laying about she sighed softly completely forgetting she had even asked nova a question, she felt bad but all she could do was hope she hadn`t answered yet. As quickly as she had gotten off topic she turned back to the girl and smiled, "Sorry internal rant, you know how those go right?" She asked hopefully a fake smile on her face as she looked over the girl once more. Nova was adorable she could light up a room with a smile, all Neveah hoped was that her friend would be able to go and play with her because she needed the company, in a way she thought they both might.
