Ever since he had seen that new movie Big Hero 6, Ronan had been quite inspired by the people in the movie. The entire time he had been watching it at one of the Infirmary movie nights, he knew there were many things that he could make. The bike that Go-go had been working on as well as the lasers that Wasabi was working on, he could totally make it. Ronan wanted a 3D printer to make specific parts, but until he could get his hands on one, he'd have to work with making his own molds. He had gotten into the robotics lab in the University with the help of one of his older brothers, much older brothers, and with his help, got all of the coding done for the project he wanted to do. It had taken weeks, months, for him to get help with the coding. It was there he decided he wanted to go into the robotics field, be like Tony Stark. It would take a long time and even with his natural talent with machines, he'd put in the work nessicary. Something like that around the infirmary, a Baymax prototype, it could really help people. Not that Ronan didn't think that Tessa and Lilith didn't do a good job of trying to help people, but he wanted to make things better for them. Easier. A robot would never replace human interaction or doctor and patient relationships, but there were so many things that robots could do with precision that humans couldn't, mostly because of the little thing called human error.
Ronan had jumped right on the bandwagon when it came to helping his little sister, Nova, with her back and spine. There was a lot that he had to learn about the human body, it wasn't like he was Tessa or JAson. He didn't have that medical knowledge. But there were books, databases, and people whose brains that he could pick for information and put it in a single database for the use of the robot. Ronan hopped up on his desk as he looked at the molds he had made and the robotic skeleton that laid in pieces on the large table in front of him. IT was a bit heavier than he wanted but he didn't exactly have access to carbon fiber right now. It was a little bit hard to come by in a place like Camp Jupiter. Maybe he could talk to Josh once he had the chance, and all of the test runs were finished. The final project would have the carbon fiber and titanium alloy skeleton. But like the movie, it would have a squishy exterior. Maybe he could get Tessa to help him with the outer skin, the marshmallow like exterior. If anyone could build a Baymax, it would be Ronan, and once he got the test runs down, he'd build a smaller one for Clare, she would need all the help she could get.
Sitting back in his chair as he looked at the clock and the skeletal shell on the floor, he opened up the miniture fridge under one of the desks and grabbed a bowl off of the top shelf, pouring in some milk and cereal before sitting down and putting a spoonful in his mouth. Licking his lips, Ronan's mind was still working. The cogs in his head were still turning as he thought about this thing, the computer chips with the programs around his neck bouncing around in a protective case. This was going to take a long time. But Ronan knew he was up for the challenge. This was going to take a lot of time, maybe he wouldn't have a chance to devote to sleeping, much to the dismay of the girls that suggested that he do otherwise. This was important to him.
