Erich didn't know what he was doing. He probably should have known what he was doing, he had came in here with his books all gung-ho to do what he was going to do. It will be easy, they said. If you're good at math it wont be a problem. why did he listen to them? Now he was standing here, from head to toe, covered in flour. HE swore that he had done everything right, all up until it was time to start up the mixer. now he looked like a ghost or one of the Lars that had floated through and had their laugh at him. If they wern't already dead, Erich would have done his best  to kill them just for laughing at him. But they said if he did something stupid once, well it was because he was a guy, the second time it was because of a girl. And this time, was because of a girl. He coughed and sputtered, puffs of white eminated from his body every time he moved, breathed or blinked. Erich started dusting himself off even though the Aurae looked at him and giggled hard and their continuous movements kept kicking up more and more flour. After coughing and sputtering for another five minutes, he started a sneezing fit, kicking up more and more flour with every movement. It was a vicious cycle. 

Gods almighty, why was he doing this? Oh yeah, he reminded himself, a girl. Not just any girl but the most amazing girl in the world. Mika was special to him. more so than anyone he had ever met before. She was his everything. His starfish. That was what he was trying to make, starfish cookies. but they were not turning out properly. he was stark white and anything he tried to make right now.... well the first batch was coming out of the oven and now they looked like starfish that had over eaten at McDonalds. This was stupid.

This was wonderful! Her sister was expecting a baby so she was going to be an aunt! How could this week get any better? Well with some snacks of course. There was only one place to get the snacks and that was the kitchens! That was where she was headed now, after training and shower of course. She had to get everything down for the next training session. After she made sure she had everything she needed she headed out. As she entered the area she looked around and then paused. Was that a ghost making cookies? Now this was new! She walked over and then burst into a fit of giggles. “Erich, you look like a ghost.” It was actually really cute.

Walking over to him she noticed the cookies on the tray and grinned, they looked like starfish but…well were they? She smirked and picked up a towel and wiped off his face. “There, now I can see you better.” Looks to all the cookies and debates on taking one but holds back. “So what’re all the cookies for?” It was better for her to ask first than to take on and look like a jerk for stealing a cookie. Though they could use some icing on them before eating.

Oh great, so much for his surprise. Erich huffed to himself as he did his best to hide his pouty face when Mika had walked through the kitchen door. This was pretty embarrassing, though, for her to see him in such a state, covered from head to toe in flour and looking like a snow beast of sorts as he coughed and sputtered. But she at least had a good sense of humor about it. It was one of the thousands of millions of reasons that Erich was so appreciative of her. She was just an amazing girl and a great centurion. He wanted to show her how much he cared for her and how much she meant to him, but it seemed that the whole showing of appreciation thing with the cookies, well it wasn't going as well as he had hoped. It was going horribly. The starfish cookies that wern't burned to a crisp were looking like someone had force fed them McDonalds for all of their natural life.

"I was trying to make a surprise for you. But it didn't work out how i was expecting it to." He said in a slightly dejected sort of voice as he had tried to hide the blue icing and fish sprinkles that he was going to decorate the cookies with. "You can't just magic cookies into being. It goes against Gamp's laws of transfiguration. you can't create something from nothing. You can mulitiply it or change it just not create it." He said kicking at the ground as she wiped his face off with a towel. He was probably sounding like a real nerd right then. He really felt like crying, he wanted to do something special for Mika but like the last time, it ended up a disaster. At least this time they didn't end up in a government facility having their powers stripped.
