The camp was someplace she hardly went. She was busy most times and it really sucked that she couldn’t come and see people and interact with campers. Though with how much she loved her privacy she was not going to let anyone know who she was. That was why she just was going to be a normal girl today. All she wanted was some chocolate, okay? Was it really that hard to want to find something good to eat? She should after spending all morning in the woods. She was peace after all and gods willing she was going to live her life in peace. That was unless Mars decided to be a jerk and go out and start ANOTHER world war. She couldn’t help but hate the man for that. Then after the second one more wars. Did the man ever rest?

So today she was meditating and enjoying the woods alone. This place was so peaceful and she couldn’t help but feel like she was in her element. She even spent time braiding flowers into her hair. When she finally felt like it she hopped up and made her way to the camp. No she wasn’t going to stick around in there but she was going to go in search of chocolate in New Rome. Wait; did she bring her money with her? Reaching into her bag she felt the coins and nodded. What? She still had to pay for things. She wasn’t that mean or anything.

Making her way barefoot, yes barefoot. Pax was kind of a hippie, she was the goddess of peace and she felt at peace like this. Now back to where she was, she was making her way into the city and window-shopping for things. Everything looked so pretty and she wanted it. Control, she needed to control herself from buying up the place. Oh then again she had children she needed to buy gifts for. That was always a good thing, buying your children gifts! Maybe that’s what she would do after she got some chocolate.

After procuring a chocolate bar she made her way to the fountain and sat down. Her eyes traveled up the thing as she started to eat her chocolate. Now this was a good place to be. Maybe if she was lucky she would catch someone to talk to. But for now she kept facing the water fountain and without a care in the world slipped her feet into the water. If someone didn’t like it they could ask her nicely to remove her feet from the water.

Ava wasn't exactly someone who liked to train all the time. Here lately it was more training. She forced herself to train hard with her cohort, and then with herself by the dummies. Ava had been working hard to train with all sorts of weapons, though her prowess with her favored spear and daggers far outstripped what she could do with other weapons. She was trying. And she was learning. Ava had even gone as far as to train with a boy from first cohort. He was a son of Mars though it was easy to see that she had gotten royally thrashed. Ava was sporting a tender lip from where it had been split, a bruise that crept across her collar bone and up her neck, not to mention a now healing cut that would be taken care of later. Sure the water could help her heal, but it wasn't something that was instantaneous. it still took a while to heal up.

Her whole body ached as she moved around. Ava was dressed simply, a light tee-shirt and a pair of shorts. If this had been a few years ago, she would have been sporting a hoodie and a pair of jeans in such atrociously hot weather. Now she had felt better about herself. After heading down through the center of New Rome, Ava got a cup of cool tea. She then purchased two. She felt like she wanted to make someone's day and what better way to make someone's day than to get them a cup of cooled tea? After paying, she turned and sat next to a girl who was dipping her toes into the fountain with no shoes. Ava didn't mind it one bit and there were all kinds of people in New Rome, who was she to judge. "Hi, here." She said to the girl who was next to her and offered her the spare cup of iced tea.

So far it was a really good day and she was enjoying it, the birds were out singing, there was no war going on, the flowers were blooming. Everything was at peace and she could feel herself relaxing, after everything these kids had been through they needed a peaceful time period where they didn’t have to worry about anything. That was what these kids needed, they needed a time to relax and just be kids. Hopefully the others would see that and allow it to happen. Then again, with the big ones upstairs anything was possible and that included destroying the peace for some chaos to reign in.

She closed her eyes as she allowed her feet to soak in the water, this felt really nice. One of these days she was going to have to go to a spa and get a full treatment just to see what it was like. Someone actually pampering her for once and not the other way around. Though when it came to her kids she was the one who would do the pampering. Soon she would spend the day with each of them, one at a time of course. Then she would get to know them better and find out what all they really wanted in life. Being their mother she of course wanted the best for them.

When the girl sat down next to her she looked her over and then gave her a kind smile. “Hey, ohhh! Thank you so much!” Excitedly she takes the tea and sips it. On a hot day like this cold tea hit the spot. Same as ice cream but there was none of that around from what she could see. Setting the cup down she picked up her chocolate bar and broke off a large piece of it. “Here, try this.” It was really good chocolate and hopefully the girl would like it as much as she did.
