There was always something going on here. Mars knew he could count on this place being full of entertainment. Right now he was watching some training going on. Though for the most part it was just kids. People wanted their kids to get a jump start on the legion training, so here they were in a class full of children who barely could read and write, handling weapons. They were training weapons of course, but it still proved a point that this was HIS New Rome. This was his dedication. There was a smirk that drew tightly across his face as he watched one of his sons drill into the new children about what they had to look forward to when enrolling into the legion. Arms crossed the barrel chest as the massive male lurked around, evaluating each kid in his own way. There were some that he had high hopes for, his own children and legacies impressing him. There were others that impressed him too. Though they were few and far between. There were those that if Mars had his way, he would not give them a weapon. Case in point, there was one boy, a legacy of Mercury who was pulling on the pig tails of one of his daughters. His daughter promptly turned around and whopped him across the face with her fist, leaving the legacy sprawled out across the sandy portion of the circus all spread eagle. His girl had an arm on her, he thought rather fiercely and proudly.
Mars moved quietly his presence not known to the class, but as he moved he spotted someone working hard to race around the track. It was like it was just a practice run. Their control needed obvious work but past that, they wern't too bad. It was an obvious case of being inexperienced. There were a few other chariots on the track as well, making this place look like it was simply for classes today. Which he didn't mind in the least. People learned differently, and they all had to learn some how. How they did it, Mars really didn't care. But he wasn't about to step in when his little girl had put the boy who had previously been tugging on her pigtails in a headlock. It was their own way of working things out. They had to learn things on their own. That was the problem with a few demi-gods that seemingly had the biggest chips on their shoulders. If the gods did everything for them, they wouldn't learn.
