Liam had something that he needed and wanted desperately to do. There was someone here that he had to make amends with. And to do so, he had to figure out the best way to possibly do this. He didn't know how to apologize. Up until recently he didn't even know what the word had meant. So he stood there trying to figure out the best way to do so. Simple words wern't going to suffice. Meaning that even if he could bring himself to talk, which there were times that he still didn't talk, he didn't know if he could bring himself to do so in this particular situation. He had been working hard at learning how to speak, words and language were something discouraged. Liam had for the longest time thought that he had been forgotten, sweapt away by the sands of fleeting time as he was disregarded by both Mars and Apollo. But now things were different. Being in that facility was much more tasking than being here in New Rome. He had thought about the things he had seen in the books. There was one book where a man had brought a woman flowers. He didn't know if it was right nor not to do something like that with a woman. Evee liked flowers. She always had. But she was his sister, were you supposed to give a non family member flowers? The thought rolled around in his brain like a rock, sitting stale before he shook his head and tried to think of something else. This was hard.
Would a puppy be a good idea? No, that was stupid. Maybe he should just say he was sorry. Would that be alright? Did people even just accept words? He really couldn't do this. But he just paced around his little apartment before he decided to get something to eat. He was hungry. He couldn't think and pace while he was on an empty stomach. That did nothing more than make him even more mad at himself because he couldn't figure out this little thing called being apologetic to start with. He was so out of touch with human relations that it just didn't click for him. Some people thought being sorry or even saying sorry was a social and cultural norm. They didn't have the pleasure of being locked away in a cage wearing a muzzle for most of his life. Liam tossed his leather jacket around his shoulders, it was hot, though he didn't seem to notice. He walked along the cobblestone streets before turning to one row that had a few food stalls. He liked these food, it was much better than what he had eaten previously. So he stood in line to get a sandwich or four, he always ate a lot of food, before turning to find someplace to sit down.
