Appearance ;;[/color] Gwen stands at five foot six with a petite build. She has light brown hair, which is sometimes mistaken for blonde-haired woman during summer. Her hair cascades in waves down past her shoulders a little bit. She has white skin with hints of nice even tan. She has deep brown eyes, which hold a sense of compassion. Her skin is near flawless and she has light pink lips. She is commonly found wearing jeans and a tee shirt, but skirts and dresses are no stranger to her either. She seems to always have a smile light up her face. She wears a thin amount of makeup that is commonly used to accent her features more. She uses just enough to make it seem natural. She has a nice sense of beauty around her, as her grandmother is Venus, yet she keeps it natural at the same time, as her grandfather is Mars.
Personality ;;[/color] Gwen is a kind, caring, and generous person. She is also a fan of love, which is no surprise since her father is Cupid. She loves helping people find their way in their love life, even offering advice. She hates confrontations and has been known to give up stuff if it would cease an incoming feud. Gwen is also very innocent. She has only had one boyfriend before; it ended because he left the legion and moved away. They still write though! She was always protected and may not understand some mature jokes or jabs. She also does not understand why people do not get along at camp. She is not a peacekeeper, she just does not understand. She just wants everyone to get along, to an extent.
Even with all the calm and innocent side of Gwen, she is also a Roman and knows how to fight, being the granddaughter of Mars helps in that department. She enjoys training and working on smoothing out her skills. She is very skilled with the sword, but prefers fighting with a knife.
Gwen also has an odd side of her, probably came from her mom. She loves to cook. Not just anything but Italian food. Her mom was Italian and the love of their food passed to her. She has been known to sneak into the mess hall and cook her friends some gourmet pasta. In addition, with the note of her mom being Italian, Gwen can speak the language fluently. It comes in handy whenever she wants to yell at people but not have them know what she is saying. Overall Gwen is a kind, yet tough girl who just loves Italian cooking.
Powers ;;[/color] As a child of Cupid Gwen has an array of abilities, not all powerful or great. She has weak charmspeak, that only works perhaps fifty percent of the time. She can also thank her grandpa Mars for her battle skills, though she rarly shows them. Who can blame her though? Thanks to her father dearest she is able to sense when someone is in love. Its weird to explain, but when someone is all swooning in love Gwen just knows, even if they hide it. Gwen can also help make a match between people by analyzing them. She can determine whether a relationship will be good or not solely based on her analyst.

History ;;[/color] In Verona, Italy tourist have the opportunity to visit the famous Juliet’s balcony. There, individuals can leave letters. Of course, you do not have to visit Verona to write Juliet a letter. Now, three weeks later you get a reply from Juliet herself. Well, how can this be? In Verona, there is a group of women who become Juliet and write responses on love. In this group, Isolde was present. She was never good at having a great relationship; in fact, her past few had been abusive. She did not give up on love though; she felt everyone deserved that someone special who would take care of him or her forever. With also being one of the writers of Juliet, she also sold Roses in the market place. That was where she met him, Cupid. Of course, she did not know it was Cupid at the time. They flirted and started dating. Isolde felt that she had finally found her someone special. However, after a passionate night, Cupid disappeared. Isolde was heartbroken. Yet, when she learned of her pregnancy, she was excited. She would have someone to love and who would love her back. Nine patient months later Gwen was welcomed into the world.
Gwen spent her toddler years growing up in Verona, Italy. She enjoyed the language and the food. She also enjoyed hearing the stories of the people writing to Juliet. Gwen would always come with her mom to work, that was where she learned to read. Her first ever readings were those of the Juliet letters. Gwen also helped make her moms Rose business boom. Who could resist an adorable toddler selling the roses? Finally, their time in Verona ended as a businessperson heard about the flower business and granted her mom a business opportunity in America. They moved when Gwen was four.
America was not as exciting as Italy, besides, they were in Indiana, nothing happens there. Love seemed to be too common here. Gwen longed to return to Verona but she could tell her mom was happy with the new job. Learning English was hard but soon her Italian accent went away. The only time Italian was spoken was when she was at home with her mom. When she started school, she would watch kids get picked on and she would try to stop the confrontation. She would preach that they should make love, not war. That got her nowhere. In addition, with the ADHD and Dyslexia it was becoming hard to make friends. However, her beauty caught the attention of a few people and she was able to have a few friends. Near to her tenth birthday, her mom got a letter from Gwen’s father. Inside the letter were details of a place she had to go, in order to train so she could become safe. Since Isolde believed every word Cupid would say, since he granted her with such a lovely daughter, Gwen was sent to this place. This place being an old stone building that looked abandoned.
Inside Gwen was met with Lupa. They did not get along that well, Lupa thought that a daughter of Cupid would get nowhere in the world. What use to the Legion was she? However, she was also a granddaughter of Mars and fighting come almost naturally to her. Yet, she despised the sword and wanted something less obvious. She opted to train with a knife, which Lupa helped her learn. Soon, she was able to gain entry into the legion. If she thought America itself was bad on love this camp seemed to have no love at all. At first, she hated it. Then she found a people who were the descendents of Mars and Venus, she got along with them and soon felt accepted in the legion.
During the battle of Othyrs last summer, she played her part and fought with the legion. She hated all the bloodshed but still knew it was necessary in order for peace to be created. That was how peace would become, by destroying the enemy. However, she would only hate the enemy, even if she did not understand why they would want to rage havoc as they were. The battle changed her a little, made her less innocent. Still her innocence is there. During the battle, she met her, now and ex, boyfriend. He was a son of Bacchus and they got along well. Some did not approve of their relationship though. However, it ended later that year as the son of Bacchus finished his time at the legion and decided to leave the Camp and attend University somewhere else in the United States. Gwen enjoys writing to him though, even if they are just friends now. Gwen has enjoyed her time at the legion and feels conflicted that it is almost over; she still has yet to determine what to do with her life. She feels as though she will return to Verona, follow her mother’s example, and become one of the writers of Juliet.
