Appearance ;; Now here is a goddess that could leave any boy with his jaw dropping and leave girls self conscious about their looks. With her shoulder length hair, in which she prefers it to be dirty blonde, soft facial features and her very curvy body, lets just say shes a stunner, literally. But shes use to people gawking at her as she passes by. However, this is merely the mortal form shes acquired for herself. In her godly form her stun meter is about ten times. Either way, this lass is a beauty and there is no denying it. Even without adding makeup to highlight her best features (which is all basically), from her soft seductive smile to her piercing blue eyes she is overall the image of beauty for people, give or take a few features. Yet her she is in all her divine beauty because she is beautiful and such.
Personality ;; Venus is both temperamental and vain. In addition, she is also crafty, flirtatious, and seductive. Despite these qualities, she is both very loving and passionate, having a faith in love that is absolute and true. Venus is very benevolent and gentle to those she favors and deeply cares for her children as well as their fathers. Presiding over the most powerful of human feelings, she has great insight into mortal emotions as well as mortal nature by extension. It is nearly impossible to disagree with her, she is also unfaithful to Vulcan with all of her affairs. Though she is, for lack of a better description, in an open relationship with Mars. While they may sleep around with other people they always end up together, no matter how many times her husband, gods she hated that word, tried to prank them on their dates.
As stated prior, Venus has a caring side verging on motherly. After all, she is the goddess of all love, not just romantic. If she comes across a person in need she will probably try to help them, especially if it does involve love in any way. Venus also sees any form of gift or help from her as a good thing, even if it has bad consequences and just won't hear about how unpleased someone is. Venus is one of the few Olympians who do not get a headache over the differences of her Greek and Roman self because love is universal, no matter the land, the language, or the culture.

History ;; Once upon a time, a son cut off his father genitals and threw them into the sea, where, gathering in the sea foam, a beautiful deity emerged. As the Olympians gained power, Venus joined them, although conflict came with it as Jupiter wanted to take the lovely woman for himself, but settled on balancing her beauty with the ugliest of the gods, Vulcan. Of course being the goddess of love and being married to someone who only found love in his work did make the goddess early days of marriage depressing. Thus she started down the road of self satisfaction in her string of affairs, favoring Mars as her favorite male to be with.
Over the years Venus frolicked in her beauty and pleasure and was very proud of that fact. Of course, she is commonly known for the part she played in the deadly Trojan War in which for the prize of the Golden Apple and being called the Fairest goddess, she promised Paris the most beautiful woman alive, Helen. Which obviously lead to the battle of Troy. Honestly, Venus found this entire scenario amusing. One man claiming to besiege a city in love while the other withhold the girl from her prior husband due to their love. The other deities didn't agree with her humor. Although, Venus was pretty sure Mars was happy with another war.
After that decade of blood shed Venus continued throughout the years with her multitude of lovers and her numerous children, caring for each the best she can, as she truly does have a motherly side, as all mother are suppose to love their children. What kind of goddess of love would she be if she didn't show that to her children? She always tried to be there for them, especially if they grew up enough to have weddings, one of her favorite past times, though if one of her children had the unfortunate luck of dying she never went to the funeral. It was too heartbreaking for her.
Although she had seen some tragedies and fulfillment in mortal life, she did get bored. One of the ways Venus would unbore herself would be to play a hand in the love lives of mortals. One of her current favorites to view and play around with being Percy Jackson and his girlfriend Annabeth Chase. Of course she has more mortal lives to play with, especially on the Roman side, where even though a majority of them are stick in the mud soldiers, they do find love. Venus enjoyed their love and heartbreak just as much as her Greek side enjoyed the Greek half. But these Romans were interesting, often needing a hand in love, but once they were, well, that was where the real fun begins.[/blockquote]
