Robin: -finally catches a day that didn't involve a building full of first cohort injured, those two day drills were a damper on his plans. Walks gracefully to the Head of Infirmary's door and knocks lightly-
Tessa: -doing paperwork during the day, normally working night in the office because she took to not liking to be out alone around recently. Hears the knock and takes her notebook going to open the door. Instinctively looks up because few people are shorter than her-
Robin: -smiles- "Forgive me for intruding, though it may be a bit late I have something for you." -hands over a small cloth bag-
Tessa: -looks at the bag and flicks her notebook to her sharpied cover- +Thank you+ -before taking the bag looking inside-
Robin: "It's a bottle of cider. I'd normally get wine for such an occasion, but you're not quite old enough for that." -smiles watching her, recalling the adorable little legacy when she first came to camp. He could tell early they were related.-
Tessa: -pulls the bottle out and looks at him questionably-
Robin: "Ah, yes. Congratulations on becoming head of the infirmary. As I said, a bit late." -smiles- "Though I hope you'll still accept it."
Tessa: -smiles and nods, putting the bottle back in the bag so she could hold up her notebook again- +Thank you.+
Robin: "How convenient, though I feel a but sad you'd give the same 'thank you' for some random gift, as you would one with feeling."
Tessa: -looks a bit taken aback, and apologetic before flipping her notebook open to a new page as she writes another 'Thank you'-
Robin: -smiles and puts a hand on hers- "I'm sorry, I was just playing a bit with you. Don't worry too much about it. I was hoping to coax what I'm sure would be a beautiful voice from you."
Tessa: -stops writing and looks up at him again, still thinking she had hurt his feelings but nods anyway-
Robin: "My name is Robin, it's a pleasure to finally talk to you. It's always so busy in here."
Tessa: -smiles slightly and nods, taking her hand back to write an introduction- +The pleasure is mine Mr. Robin. My name's Tessa Yates.+
Robin: "I hope you'll find talking with me comfortable enough to simply use my first name."
Tessa: +I can call you Robin then.+
Robin: "Only if I can call you Tessa" -smiles-
Tessa: -smiles and nods-
Robin: "Good! Then my dear Tessa, would you let me take you to lunch?"
Tessa: -flushes slightly and shakes her head-
Robin: "Then tell me what you'd like and I'll bring it back here." -smiles- "I'd just like to get to know my niece a little bit."
Tessa: -shakes her head again, her face still slightly red-
Robin: -smiles- "Perhaps you can find someone to share that cider with then."
Tessa: -she tucks her chin into her chest as her ears go red and nods slightly-
Robin: "Don't show that face so easily" -leans on the door frame a bit- "Being so cute someone may try to snatch you from that one on your mind right now."
Tessa: -looks up defiantly and shakes her head again-
Robin: -chuckles slightly- "I don't know anyone who's so wordlessly and completely turned down everything I've said. Though if you'd let me get to know you a bit, you can find me here, or here." -hands her a business car with his address written on the back also.-
Tessa: -takes the card and looks at it curiously. Reading the part about being a counselor, with a specialty in relationship counseling.-
Robin: "That's for family relationships too."
Tessa: -looks at him like 'how would that not be included?'-
Robin: -thinks how completely adorable she is and how he wants to just hug her- "I'll not bother you anymore then." -smiles and leaves-
Tessa: -looks at the card and the bag and goes back into her office slightly confused.-
