Name Alex Lucas Kane
Nickname(s) None
Age ;;12
Birthday June 1st
Gender Male
Species ;; (Demi-God
Immortal Parent ;; Jupiter
Years at Camp ;; 12
Celebrity Claim ;; Edward Furlong
Appearance ;; Alex is a little taller than most kids his age, he stands at five foot one and weighs about a hundred and ten pounds of solid muscle. He has wild brown hair and and matching eyes. His attire often consists of roman armor when with the legion. Outside of it however he sports a black leather jacket, jeans, and a muscle shirt with the word "Proud to be odd" Written on the front. On his feet he often can be found wearing combat boots instead of shoes.
Around his neck is a silver chain with a lightning bolt at the end. His skin is tan from being outside so much. He is well formed though his jacket and armor tend to hide the muscles underneath. He is what some would call handsome. He has a look in his eyes that shows a warriors spirit, the kind of face you trust and feel safe standing in battle with. When he smiles it's often crooked like he is mocking the world and doesn't care. His hands are well calloused from the sword but also from his own separate training, scars along his palms and fingers from that same training.
Personality ;; Alex is simply a hero. He is loyal, courageous, and brave. Never one to leave a fallen comrade behind, he fights for his legion and for his friends. He listens to orders and knows that the Centurions and praters care about their lives. Not afraid to speak his mind at all, he often finds himself in trouble for speaking out. Alex never backs down from a real fight and has a taste of fighting alone. A team player when he needs to be but deep down he loves the solo battles.
Alex also has a rebellious streak, often times cursing his father when things go wrong. To those that betray and cowards on the field he feels nothing for and wouldn't lift a hand to save them from a hydra. As much as he curses his father and feels abandoned, he knows he loves him and wants to make him proud. With his friends he is laid back and easy going, quick to come to their aid and very defensive of them.
For someone young he tends to take on a big brother role around his friends even when they are older. Alex is prideful and it shows, when insulted he tends to get angry quickly, a trait he picked up from his father. Alex constantly feels like he has to test himself, prove himself over and over even when he has earned the respect of his fellow legionaries. Alex wants to make his father proud, to be accepted by him. And while others get angry and curse, Alex keeps proving himself.
Powers ;; Super Physical Strength: Alex was born without the powers of lightning, wind control, and flight. Instead he took on the gifts of another great hero. His body is much stronger than what it should be. Super human strong. The limits to his strength as of now being so young is unknown but already he shows signs of being immensely strong. He can lift a boulder above his head and throw it the entire length of a football field. He can rip trees from the ground, hit with the force of a wrecking ball, at a young age he is unable to utilize the full course of his strength.
Super Physical Endurance: His body is gifted with super endurance. Able to withstand damage that would kill a normal Demi-god and keep going. As of his young age there is no telling the limits of his endurance but it is shown he can be hurt, it just takes more time and blows. Already he can handle punches from bigger kids and not flinch, poison works through his body much slower, toxins and venom the same. He can withstand intense pressure and damage and continue on. But as of his young age his body has not fully accepted all of his abilities and at times is just as vulnerable as others.
Super Stamina: His physical prowess had allowed him to fight on and on without tiring quickly, his physical strength requiring more stamina without even needing to train. He can hold his breath for an hour, fight for hours on end, go days without needing to sleep. Again his young age holds back what he can do. Side effects comes if he doesn't sleep often, his body tires out and he collapses after reaching his limit and may need days to fully recover.
Higher speed: Due to the muscles in his legs, Alex can run faster and move quicker than those not blessed with the physical gifts. His reflexes are heightened as are his natural instincts. His young age however only shows a sight awakening in this area, as of now he has the speed of an Olympian runner.
Cost: The cost for these gifts was the powers he would never be able to wield. Lighting like his siblings, he could never fly or control the winds. No storms, or anything else associated with his fathers power. All he has is his physical body.
Family ;; Mother: Janice Kane (An Artist)
History ;; Alex Kane was born in Camp Jupiter. His mother was a Legionnaire and a fierce warrior until she was wounded by a monster. She went down and was crippled while saving her fellow soldiers. After that she began to draw and paint. Her favorite was drawing Jupiter and this earned his attention. Nine months later, Alex Kane was born. Alex grew up in the city with his mother and friends. As a little boy he loved watching the Legionnaires do their training and marches, loved seeing the shine of their armor and the skills with their weapons. At that moment when he was five he swore one day he would be a great Soldier of Rome.
Years passed. A young boy grew taller, stronger, more wild. As the time came closer to his tenth birthday he became more excited but also more resentful since his father never spoke to him no matter how much he prayed. He wanted to speak to his father, to understand what he could give to Rome. In his spare time his mother had shown him different weapons. Swords were unbalanced no matter what he held, spears broke when he used them, Axes felt wrong, clubs felt off. Everyday he worried about this flaw of his. Weapons weren't his forte, he felt odd about carrying them even though it was what he wanted.
On his tenth Birthday, Alex went to train with Lupe the wolf. Upon arriving he found himself only a few feet from the largest wolf he had ever seen. However it was not fear that flooded through him no, it was exhilaration. His eyes and the she-wolfs met. He felt the power of the wolf goddess but still he refused to back down. No weapon, he raised his hands and readied himself for a battle. Lupe only laughed.
Alex was accepted by Lupe and the training began. The tasks were hard, the training brutal, the methods cruel...and Alex loved it all. He felt deep down this was what he had been born for. His great strength revealed itself when out of anger he lifted a massive rock that he was suppose to be pushing up a hill and threw it. The boulder soared over the hill and crashed on the other side and shattered. Shocked by his own strength, he turned his eyes to his hands.
Lupe had watched the whole scene and understood for she had met the god himself, Hercules. She sat down with Alex and in a motherly voice explained his power but also the limits of his young body. She shared with him the truth, that he would grow stronger but he needed to train. And train he did. Alex spent all his free time learning his new strength.
As time went on his endurance and stamina began to come out as well, he fought against other Romans in sparring matches and found he could go much longer in a fight. The wooden sticks that struck him didn't hurt at all. After months and months, Alex was free to leave and join the Legion. Alex was suited, armed, and ready to go. However the armor felt wrong, the sword awkward, and the shield in the way. A deep fear settled inside him that maybe he wasn't cut out to be a legionnaire and would be kicked out. For two years Alex trained, marched, and did the exercises. He hoped soon he would be allowed to do a real mission with his friends.
In his own time he worked on his gifts. His strength by lifting more and more weights, sprinting, having baseballs and wooden sticks thrown at him. Every now and than his eyes turned to the outside where the monsters were. That was where he would test his strength. He turned and like always walked back to his bunk.Site Alias Khalix is fine

Roleplaying Experience ;; years, rough guess 15
Sample RP ;; Alex stood on the battlefield, across from him was the largest hell hound he ever seen in his life. It was the size of a full grown rhino with sharp teeth, flaming eyes, and claws that would rip through a tank. The young warrior wore the armor of Rome. On his left hip was a Gladius sword, on his left arm a roman shield. In all honesty, Alex felt silly carrying the bulky object against something like a hell hound. Drawing his sword, he once again grimaced as he felt the unbalanced weight in his hand.
It wasn't anyones fault really. Swords didn't work for him, they never felt...right. The hell hound stepped forward as if about to attack. Alex retaliated by stepping forward and to the left, forcing the dog to turn with him. It snarled, Alex returned it. The monster barked, and Alex grinned. The beast lunged forward aiming straight for the young Romans body. Alex retaliated by tilting his shield. The hell hound hit it and it's claws glanced off the edge, stepping around, Alex did a thrust with his sword and hit it's side. He expected it right than to fade but no luck. A large paw shot out and clipped the young warrior. The blow slid him a good ten feet.
In the blow, Alex lost his shield and sword. He already could hear his legionnaire Centurion yelling at him for losing his weapons in combat. But they weren't his weapons, they were distractions. Alex reached up and began undoing the armor around his body. Hell hound and demi-god locked eyes and something passed between them. This was a fight to the death. Once the roman armor hit the ground, Alex was left standing wearing only his boxers. His hands raised as he watched the hell hound. It leaped forward, claws extended, mouth open, fury in it's eyes. Alex stepped inside and shoved his hands upwards, he caught the hell hound mid section and threw it a good twenty feet.
The hell hound hit the ground with a thud and rolled five more feet before gaining it's paws again. It turned to snarl and got a large rock across it's muzzle for the effort. Alex charged in yelling "For ROME" His battle cry. The hell hound raised a paw and swatted at him. Alex Ducked, the wind from the strike nearly put the Roman off balance. However he managed to keep his balance. Throwing a powerful right uppercut, he caught the hell hound under the chin. The surprised animal went rolling head over heels. Coming to it's feet it charged straight in.
This time however, Alex was ready. His hands raised once more and the monster slammed right into them. Instead of pushing forward, he grabbed the muzzle of the beast and pulled back and to the side. Twisting his own body he flipped the hell hound to the ground. Dropping down, his arms wrapped around it's throat. The muscles tightened as the Hell hound vanished into dust. Standing up, he quickly re-dressed and headed back to the pavilion.
