Celebrity Claim ;; Jason MomoaAppearance ;; Vulcan stands at six foot four and weighs two hundred fourteen pounds. His skin unlike his mother and fathers has taken on a dark tan tone. Due to his constant forging and training Vulcan has a chest size of fifty inches, arms and biceps of nineteen inches, and a waist of 34 inches. Vulcan is not a small god by any means though he does have a slightly limp every once in a while. Vulcan has dark features, he has longer brown hair that curls slightly however he often does pull his hair back into a pony tail, and his eyes are a greenish color which can often be seen as either green or hazel. Making weapons of mass destruction takes plenty of muscle and while he might not be the god of war Vulcan does have quite the amount of muscles on his body. Vulcan has a scar above his right eyebrow, while he would love to say he obtained it in battle he cannot due to him being born with it. After being thrown from the heavens he broke his leg leaving him with a limp.
Personality ;;Clever: Vulcan from birth has always been a clever man when it comes to his work. Unlike the other gods he has perfected his weapon and creations. His cleverness does not just stop at his crafting he has been known to be quite the troublemaker. Unlike some of the other gods Vulcan thinks everything through and since he’s quick to learn he can come up with some very intricate designs. Once he’s gotten his mind set on something nothing will stop him, he will apply the ideas he`s gotten to plans and or designs. Although he is not as smart as Minerva he still has quite the level of intelligence.
Creative: Vulcan is extremely creative when it comes to his forging. Unlike the other gods he loves making items and other things in his forge. If he can think it then Vulcan can make it. Over the years of being in the forge line of work he as become extremely creative making items and weapons that even the smartest person in the world would not be able to create. Vulcan has an eye for art, he is more likely to create an intricate design with his own little flare to it in order to impress those who turned their backs on him so many years ago.
Realistic: If there is one thing that Vulcan is its realistic. Unlike the other gods he does not sugar coat things for people, he knows that life is difficult and unkind and honestly he lives by that motto. Vulcan is a down to earth god, he does not think himself higher than the rest of the gods and goddesses. He understands the lives of the demi gods are different and much more stressful than his own so he’s more likely to give them straight forwards and honest answers rather than make it sound all "happy and go lucky."
Enigmatic: Not a lot of people understand this god. Unlike the others Vulcan does not like to let people in or allow them to get to know him. He likes to keep himself as a mystery to the world around him making it easier for him to go about his business. Vulcan has been called puzzling more than once, the main reason that the god does this is to allow his motives and reasoning to go unchecked. He feels that the more mysterious you are the more you can get away with and no one will suspect you. It isn`t often that one can figure the god of fire out but if they can they will forever have his respect.
Stern: Vulcan is very stern when it comes to his works. While he is not the most fatherly god around he can become an authoritative figure towards them. His children mean a lot to him though he`ll never fully admit it and while he likes to see them try he will accept nothing but perfection when they forge. Vulcan is extremely serious about his domain and the affinity he has been gifted with. While other gods might not reprimand their children Vulcan is more likely to check up on his and give them a stern talking to if deserved. If he avoids you then you know you’re in the safe zone.
Reserved: After being talked down to most of his life, being thrown off mount Olympus, and being cheated on by his wife on numerous occasions Vulcan has become very reserved. While some people will show emotions without meaning to this god will be slower to react. While people expect gods to be short tempered and emotional time bombs this god is not one of those. Vulcan has problems expressing emotions and even if he does there are very far and few in between that he will show to those around him. Some emotions the god does not express such as sadness or joyfulness.
Whimsical: This god is not all stern and boring in fact he’s a little mischievous and a tiny bit playful. On numerous occasions Vulcan has been known to get even with those who upset and or use him. He has set up many traps for his cheating wife and her many consorts as well as the trap throne that his own mother was caught in. Vulcan does not mind some playful pranks here and there and sometimes he might take it a bit over board, but well he doesn't mean anything bad by it. Vulcan sometimes has a hard time figuring out if the prank could go over board and it can get a bit vicious at times, he`ll play dumb and wait till it blows over if he gets caught.
Asocial: People in general are not this god’s strong suit. He has a hard time relating to anyone or anything that is not a machine. While some people might think this god would be open to making friends it’s the exact opposite. Vulcan does not like social interaction with anyone, not his children, not his siblings, and not his wife. He tends to avoid people and life forms as much as he can. He has for the most part withdrawn himself from the world around him, the only time he really sees his parents or siblings is during their "meetings" and even then he avoids talking to much.
Graceless: Vulcan was born with bad legs and well no matter how much he tries to get over them he just can`t. This has affect his life more than he will ever know. When it comes to forging he is highly graceful, however if it’s anything other than that he looks a little ungraceful. Vulcan is not one for elegance or grace, he often stumbles and trips not really one hundred percent on his feet, he has been known to fall every once in a while or just simply limp but this god will never make it in the world as a ballerina or even an amazing fighter.
Insecure: After being an outcast by his family and being cheated on by his wife Venus the god as has taken on a bit of an insecurity. Vulcan does not think of himself as the strongest or best looking god and honestly he’s scared to let people in which is why he keeps a strong guy facade out in the open. He does not like being compared to his father, uncles, or brothers and he certainly hates when people make comments about his appearance. Vulcan is the one god who will avoid talking about himself or the things he can do because he feels inferior to those around him.Powers ;;Pyrokinesis: As the god of fire, he has absolute control over heat, fire, and lava. This is a very dangerous and powerful ability, which is why only children that he chooses have this ability.
Prowess in Battle: Vulcan is shown to be very strong (from constantly working in his forges), which makes him very formidable in battle. He successfully fought in the first Gigantomachy, and several other battles. However, during the gods' battle with Typhon, he was defeated and knocked out of the sky with such force, that a new lake was created when he landed. This comes from him being a child of Jupiter.Fire Resistance: Vulcan spends most his time in the forge and well he is the god of fire so by default he has built up an immunity and resistance to fire. Vulcan does not get burned or even harmed by the flames in fact he loves them more than he loves hot days. If you ever want to fight this male fire is not the weapon you`d want to use.Technokinesis: As the god of blacksmiths, he has amazing mechanical abilities which are second to none.Enhanced Forging:Vulcan can build any kind of machine out of any kind of material, as well as animate it and make it do things to suit his needs. He can even do this absentmindedly, fiddling with parts and gears when nervous or thinking hard over something.Immortality: Vulcan is a god and there for he does not age. As a god he is gifted with immortality and can no become ill or die of old age.

History ;;Vulcan is the offspring of the king of the sky Jupiter and the queen of the gods Juno. Jupiter was so repulsed by the way the child looked that he threw him from the heavens down to the isle of Lemnos. Upon his landing the god broke his in the fall, he would have snapped his neck if not for being caught by the Lemnians. While other versions of this story might be told as Juno herself throwing the child into the sea because of his physical appearance. Vulcan however was thrown onto the land by his father. Knowing that his mother had some part of his disgrace Vulcan presented her with a lovely and one of a kind hand crafted golden throne. He placed springs into the chair making it so once she sat down she could not get back up. Juno was trapped in the chair unable to move, eat, or even drink, this trick throne was his way of showing resentment toward the woman who cast him out. Eventually the god of wine was able to intoxicate the god and trick him into releasing Juno.
Vulcan was not always welcomed in the lands of the gods. He first lived on the isle Lemnos where he set up his forge in order to teach the men how to polish to the metals as well as malleability. He did this as a form of thanks for the life they saved. Once all was said and done Vulcan moved to the Liparean islands near Sicily where he could receive the aid of the Cyclops. Vulcan remade his forge and soon crafted Jupiter's fresh lighting bolts while the others laid to decay. He crafted many things for the gods and goddess`s alike. A helmet of invisibility for Pluto, a beautiful girdle for Venus, a trident that shook both land and sea for Neptune, and a dog of brass for Jupiter. He created many things for the gods and demi gods alike weapons and armor, most of it came from the hands of Vulcan.
Vulcan though hard to think once had a passion greater than his forge. He was originally in love Minerva. Though he had permission from Jupiter to address the goddess his courtship and love for the goddess was eventually rejected due to her vow perpetual virginity. In the end he was given the hand of the goddess of love and beauty Venus whom to this day he still loves. Oddly enough Vulcan was considered to be one of the many gods presiding over marriage due to the torches lighted by him to bless the solemnity. After winning a war men would pile their enemies high and set them ablaze in an offer to the god. His temple was built in a consecrated grove at the base of Mount Aetna, it had a constant fire burning and was guarded by dogs.
Despite being the outcast of the gods Vulcan was highly honored in Rome. Romulus built the god a temple without walls within the city, they felt the god of fire should not be trapped within the walls. The highest respect that the god was given just so happened to be the assemblies held within his temple. The Romans felt that nothing was more sacred then the avenging fire that Vulcan had to confirm and their treaties and decisions. Vulcan has always been the topic of pity and ridicule no matter how much respect or honors he receives.

Vulcan differs from his Greek counter in more ways than one. Over the last couple of years he played a large roll in the war. Though some may not think so he has spent his time wisely making allies among the demi gods who are lucky enough to cross paths with him. During the Battle of the Labyrinth Vulcan appeared as his greek counter part Hephaestus in order to help the demi god Percy Jackson. After sending the group on a mission to find out who was using his forge he saved the son of Poseidon. During this time he found out some useful information and in return he shared his past with the demi god. He gave him a small tidbit amount of useful information on the labyrinth as well as some of what happened to Daedalus most of which he kept from the children.
When it came time for the war Vulcan answered the call. He no matter what religion had never been the strongest or best fighter, however he stood strong and helped his kin with the fight against Typhon. Unfortunately the gods time in the fight was short lived, during the battle he was hit so hard that the god of the fire was thrown from the battle creating a new lake in West Virginia. Eventually after finding his way from the ground and the water he was able to rejoin his kin in the battle mostly by making and repairing the weapons that they needed. After all was said and done the god kept true to his promise of claiming his children. He returned to his forge in Mount Saint Helens for a few month to clean out the rift rats before deciding to split his months up equally to embrace both sides of his children the Romans and the Greeks alike.

Current History;;
As of currently Vulcan spends his seasons split among the religions he does however prefer to be his Roman counterpart over that of the Greek. Vulcan spends most of his time bouncing in between each of his forges. He does not wish to have another one of his domains messed with or used against him. He has learned over the last couple of years how to spend some days among other living being and makes his appearances at Camp Jupiter count. With the new and rising threats of the Titans his outlook on the gods have changed. He does not wish to shed anymore blood of his family or children, knowing that no everyone has good within them Vulcan has decided to avoid confrontation with the Titans and will only agree to making weapons for his fathers army.

Tags: N/A || Words: 422 || Notes: Rp Sample posts.Vulcan wiped the sweat from his brow, the heat of the forge brought him comfort and with all the bickering from the gods lately he felt it best to avoid any unneeded stress. He was the god of the forge and honestly he felt no need to get involved. Unlike his wife he enjoyed working late and getting some piece and quiet, it wasn`t often people left the god alone so he didn`t mind the lack of noise around him. He had been working on a way to help his legs some form of device to keep him stable and yet all the attempt had been failing him as of late. He tried braces and all of the twenty first century devices but nothing seemed to keep the god on his feet. As the male stood looking at the metal glowing he simply sighed and placed his hammer down. The chances of him ever making anything that would strengthen his legs seemed to be shrinking. Venus wouldn`t care if the male was left crippled and detested in fact she`d probably enjoy it with Mars or Mercury or whoever else she was slumping around with these days.
The glowing embers of the forge allowed the male to relax even if it was only for a moment or two he could hear the shuffling of the others who dwelled withing the volcano. He found it much more of a bother to have others in his domain but he couldn`t turn away the only other creatures who could withstand the intense heat. Vulcan pulled the tie holding his hair out, he shook each strand free for a moment before sighing. He was sick and tired of doing the same thing everyday. Without even thinking he decided to go and visit the camp. He knew there was a law against seeing any spawns of the gods but if some gods could sneak around the king and queen what was stopping the outcast prince from doing it? When he opened his eyes the god of blacksmithing stood in the forest. He did not worry about being attacked, as he walked a slight limp began to show. The god stopped dead in his tracks and frowned, thankfully none of his children had developed this issue as of yet. He moved slowly keeping himself as steady as he could, his dark hair cupping his face. Anyone who didn`t play close attention would have no clue who the god actually was.
