Little Nova had been working for months on some special shields and bucklers. Why are they special you might ask! They were made specifically for their owners, and as Nova is a technopath, they have a high level of technology, the program that they have is to detect the attacks of objexts like arrows, swords, daggers, etc. and they will move the wings on the decoration to deflect the attack even when the owner of the shield doesn't realize of the attack. In the case of the buckler the golden marbles will do that job. That will allow the wners to focus more on the battle and not on those attacks.
Saddly they also have limitations:
- They have electronics in them, so if they get a massive hit on them, or an arrow get in between the marbles or the wings, then the circuipts would get damaged and that mecanism would get ruined, they would end up being only shields or bucklers.
- They don't protect the back of the owner if they are in the front, so as any other shield it is protecting only in one direction.

Jason and Tessa got bucklers because they are archers and a buckler would allow them to use their bows.
She had made other shields, but Nick left the legion and Valerie got killed. Julia disapeared, so... only those in charge got theirs.
Nova really expect they like their gifts, ecause she worked very hard on them and because she hopes they get more protection from them. <3
She took them to principia and gave them to them in person.
