Okay, so first of all, this is not a full absence (yay!). But it is a partial absence nonetheless. One with the worst timing I have yet seen.
So here's the scoop. My laptop has been slowly trying to kick the bucket despite it being only about a year old. Today it started the fun new trick of not responding to simple commands! Yay! So right now I'm on my mom's computer, which I can't guarantee how much I'll be able to get on because, well, she needs it too. That and... part 2.
Mom is obsessed with the idea of me turning in my Bible Survey class final at least two weeks early so I can continue to bust my butt the moment I get the assignments for the next class. Which means during the day, my bum is glued to research books until I get this sucker finished. And to make things better, the materials for my next class came in the mail Saturday, so I shall have no down time at all even when said final is finished. Wee haw.
I'll do my best to check in whenever I can and get posts up for the war threads, but unfortunately, that's probably going to be all I can manage with only partial use of a computer for a while. I'm just hoping I don't have to fork over a ton of money that I'm not really making very steadily atm for repairs or worse: a new computer. All in all, I'll try to be around as time allows, but no promises. Sorry guys.
