Character Holidays

This is a place that we can post what holidays our characters celebrate. I got this idea from talking to Rhia and then decided to put it into action after talking to lilith. I know a lot of my characters are from different places so they celebrate holidays in different ways. Feel free to put what/how your characters celebrate too.

-Charlie-

-Charlie celebrates all holidays in the American style. However, since the death of her family, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter have fallen by the wayside.

-She really likes Veterans Day, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July. Charlie has been known to visit her mother's grave on those days in Arlington Cemetary.

-When she was little, family holidays meant the world to Charlie. Her family was the only thing she had.


-Gunnar-

-Gunnar doesn't celebrate holidays on his own, but he does with Mors and Tessa.


-Gabriel-

-Gabriel doesn't recognize the fourth of July as a holiday.

-He also doesn't celebrate Halloween, instead he celebrates Guy Fawkes Day. He also celebrates Samhain. He has been known to leave little carved turnips in places where people have fallen around New Rome and Camp to honor the dead.

-Gabriel celebrates the twelve days of christmas, not just the one day. He also celebrates Boxing Day.

-Incidentally, he also doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving.

-He believes deeply in Mother's day and is well known for skipping training on this day as he visits his mother.

- Gabriel celebrates the Queen's birthday too as well as St. George's day.

- Yes, he celebrates May Day too.



-Erich-

-Erich doesn't celebrate Halloween, he places a few slices of bread and a glass of water on the table for the lost souls.

-He loves Octoberfest.
- he celebrates Christmas.


-Ronan-

-Ronan celebrates Christmas and New Years.

-He generally doesn't participate in other holidays



-Liam-

-liam doesn't know what a holiday is.

-favorite holiday is Thanksgiving
-celebrates new years, st. David's day, valentines( now anyway), good Friday, easter, July 4th, Halloween, veterans day, thanksgiving, Christmas and boxing day. Really if it's a holiday she'll probably try it. But these are her staples.
-just likes getting everyone together
-might make up a holiday to try a recipe
-Mercury is invited to all holidays
-Maybe Trivia too
-Mars is invited to July 4th (And Art's birthdays)
-Ed is only excused from holidays when gods are there, except Christmas

Tessa
-celebrates thanksgiving, Christmas, new year, and valentines
-mostly by spending time with people
-doesn't value presents very much, except by the time spend on it or thought given
-makes all her gifts
-New Years is her favorite

Miyuki
-figures somewhere there's a holiday going on
-doesn't need holidays to make you food
-loves Christmas for presents
-also because it's her birthday

Lance
-celebrates the Solstice's, July 4th, veteran's day, thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years
-4th of July is his favorite
-celebrates by saying a lot of food with friends

Skylar
-doesn't celebrate holidays unless it's nesasary to the mission

Jupiter
-celebrates ask the major U.S holidays, and the Solstice's
-no real favorite
-hates Saturnalia

Mors
-Doesn't really celebrate holidays except veteran's day
-Christmas is a cover up to invite family over

Trivia
-loves Halloween, mischief night, day of the dead, all souls day, obon festival, chusok, Alla Helgons Dag, ect
-celebrates her favorite holidays with quite reflection, and friendly observation. Maybe some prodding for mischief
-celebrates anything else with a party
