Appearance ;;
Dirty blond hair and bluish green eyes grace the god of the sea. Like most of the Roman gods, he has a perfectly chizzled body graces with a semi-decent tan. He leaves the dark tans and the oompaloompa tans to Apollo and Venus. He has a soft scent of the sea air about him. Neptune wears comfortable clothes, but has a preference of board shorts, tank tops and flip-flops, as well as his signature fishing hat. He carries himself with ease, though on land, he has a slight awkwardness. His strength lies in the water. In the water, someone had the mistake of comparing him to Aquaman, though he could at least see some resemblence. He refuses to wear orange and green spandex. His attire changes with the times, though it will always be beach wear. There have been times when he's been spotted in a tank top and board shorts, though he won't hesitate to wear a button down shirt from time to time, but only if he has to absolutely get fancy.
Personality ;;
Neptune can be considered a bit of a flip-flop, while he holds his children to a high standard, he is more fond of his daughters and granddaughters over his sons and grandsons. He loves to give people nicknames, loving to use imagination to find out the quirks in people that give them the good nickname. He dearly loves his family, even if it tends to get him in trouble. He loves his brothers, and despite that Jupiter can be a pain in the ass, and that Pluto is a bit of a downer, Juno is a control freak and Ceres has a horrible mother bear syndrome. He loves them anyways. Neptune might be warlike and disciplined and militaristic, but he's rather easy going and laid back as far as the Roman gods go. But like the ocean, the mood is subject to change. Even Neptune can admit that he has a horrible temper, but as fast as the temper comes on, it can leave just as quick. And if he was going to be honest, he really likes the whole fearful respect thing. Neptune thinks it makes him more badass in his image. On top of his love of surfing and all things water and horses, he's got a love of adventure and a love of traveling.
He's fairly loyal to his wife, only ever a few women have managed to catch his attention. He likes campers, even the weird ones of his brothers. Neptune strongly believes that there isn't much the gods could do without their children and legacies. He tends to hate Jupiter whenever he gets in one of his moods and forbids contact with their children. But there have been times more often than not where he has a blatant disregard for his brothers rules, king of the gods or not.
Powers ;;
Massive Strength- Neptune has great physical strength, at one point in his Greek form, he built a wall around Troy with easily carrying six blocks of granite without a problem.
Powerful Roar- whether it's the roar of the ocean, or the sound of a bellowing whale from when he got dumped by his wife the first time, Neptune can make himself heard.
Hydrokenesis- Neptune has absolute control over the ocean. He can create massive waves, blasts of water, he can easily breathe underwater and bring upon floods and droughts. Neptune can even use waves as a means of teleportation and can appear in one body and then appear in another. He can easily unleash massive tidal waves and tsunami's to wash away costal cities in an instant.
Geokenesis- Neptune has a limited ability to use Geokenesis, though this is mainly limited to earthquakes. It is the sole reason that he is known to many people as the earthshaker.
Aerokenesis: Neptune also has the limited ability to control wind. With this he is easily able to whip up fearsome storms and hurricanes though it's unknown how much power he can keep putting into the said storms once they hit land.
Horses- Neptune is the father of horses so he can communicate with horses, yes that includes seahorses.

History ;;
Neptune didn't exactly have the happiest childhood known to anyone. From the moment his mother gave birth to him, he was swallowed like a sandwich by his father. All of this was simply over the mention of a prophecy that his father would be over thrown by one of his sons. And while he was the last one to be swallowed, once Jupiter gave Saturn a mix of mustard and nectar, and the Titan of time promptly vomited Neptune up first. Which, in Neptune's opinion, was really really REALLY gross. Like he couldn't even begin to describe how gross it was. But Neptune was happy to be reunited with his beloved mother and his family once more. He went along with Jupiter's plan of over throwing their father. He resented Saturn greatly for what he had done, so he easily went along with his younger brother's plan to dismember his father.
Neptune didn't quite like how the Roman's treated him. As they were more of a land people and did very little seafaring, they feared him. At first, the fearful respect irritated him, he hated it. But over the years he grew accustomed to the fearful respect. And he grew to like it, even if his temples were pushed by the wayside. But while in his greek form, he had more stories to tell than in his Roman form. There were meetings with Medusa, the time his son had raped a daughter of Ares, which resulted in the first Olympian trial. Though Ares was ultimately acquitted, this was the only son that Neptune ever felt ashamed and humiliated by. He detests Athena and in her roman form, he believes that Minerva was put in her proper place. Or when he and a few other gods tried to overthrow Jupiter once before. Not because he wanted to be king, Neptune has no real desire to rule, but he only wished for Jupiter to become a better king. He was forced to live without his divine powers as a mortal to aid the king of Troy. He built a massive wall, but later he did every thing he possibly could to destroy the Trojans as the king had snubbed him. Siding with the greeks against the trojans was one of the few times he would ever resign to work with Athena, that snotty goddess.
Neptune didn't care much for the Roman's treatment of him and his children's treatment. The Roman Emperoro Caligula had even tried to declare war on him, having his own soldiers march to the ocean and start stabbing it with their spears. After a fruitless attempt, they resorted to whipping the water. They prayed to Neptune to bring water to their crops and fields, making him more of a god of fresh water and horses, he still had his designation as the lord of the seas. Though he was mad at Juno for encroaching on his territory when she tried to kill all the greeks.
In the late 1800's, the Greeks and Romans fought in the civil war. And while the war engulfed the whole country, the time was a rather horrible one for the gods. HE suffered greatly from a splitting headache the entire time the war was going on. He was constantly torn between the two sides, but his roman counterpart stayed with his roman children and his greek side stayed with his greek children. The romans lost the battle and the two sides were designed to never meet again. Which by all means, was a fine thought to Neptune. In world war one, he was with his own children that went to fight overseas, trying to bless them with calm seas on their trips. In world war two, he stood with his own child Winston Churchill, along with Jupiter's children against Pluto's children. It was one of the few times he would work with Jupiter, even though a good deal of the time he has Jupiter's back in his decisions. He agreed to Jupiter's decision to not have any more children, though it would be quite hard. He had a hard time keeping his promise, but he met two beautiful women, one in San Diego and the other in Australia, producing in the span of a couple of years, two beautiful daughter to send to camp.
The second Titan war came and Neptune was tasked to defend his home. But something else made him abandon his home and fight with the rest of the gods after coming to the conclusion that they were trying to divide the power. Neptune was happy to help take down those that would slaughter his children. Even if Jupiter was a windbag, he was happy to help his brother. He was proud of his Roman children for taking Saturn down. After that, the gods started to go silent. But Neptune still doted upon his daughters as best he could without breaking the rules. Then came the third titan war and he fought with his children, for his children, against the titans on the battlefield. He had hoped that joining his brothers on the battlefield would give his children more credibility and respect. But that would remain to be seen. He deeply loves his children and grandchildren, and he is grateful that he has a chance to be with his children. However he has a bit of trepidation, he's simply afraid that Jupiter would take that chance away. Its his biggest fear.
