Name ;; Guinevere Tiana Jerins
Nickname(s) ;; Guin, Verey, Guiny
Age ;; 17
Birthday ;; February 15th, 1998
Gender ;; Female
Species ;; Demi-God
Immortal Parent ;; Venus
Years at Camp ;; 7
Celebrity Claim ;; Shay Mitchell
Appearance ;; Guin has long, slightly curled black hair. She has smooth brown eyes and a well structured face. She is a natural beauty due to her mother, but it doesn't stop her from wanting to look good. You would believe she is older than she really is. She has a much darker skin tone. She does have her familys height. She stands at 5’8 and weighs 125 pounds. Guin wears what any Roman girl wears. She loves being fashionable, yet comfortable. Her attire consists of mainly skinny jeans or short denim shorts. She is either wearing her Camp Jupiter shirt that she cut the sleeves off of or her other muscle tees or low cut tank tops. Her shoes are either combat boots, converse or Rainbow sandals. Guin will put on makeup no doubt, but not as much as one may think. Lipstick, a light blush, mascara, eyeshadow and some eyeliner. On her side she has her sheathe which holds her 4 1/2 foot Imperial Gold sword. That is her go to weapon, however she does have one dagger in her purse and another one on a sheathe across her stomach.
Personality ;; Guin is a very sweet girl. She always tries to make others feel wanted due to never have had the feeling herself. She loves any sort of adventure and action is her go-to thing. However, in all of Venus’s glory, she is very into the fashion aspect of things and loves a good romance novel. She actually lacks self confidence however. She doesn’t always think the best of herself even though she is literally beautiful. She is a very set person and once her mind has its thought on something, it must be done.
Guin is fairly smart as well. She enjoys reading and will often catch up on different battle techniques. When she isn’t training or reading, she’ll be out shopping or catching up with friends. The girl is laid back when around those she knows and loves to joke with them. She is definitely a social butterfly!
Guin has a love for anything old. She loves architecture and history. She hopes to one day study in the field of architecture and to leave something on the world before she goes to Elysium. Her greatest fear would be not being wanted anymore. She finally found someplace where she belongs, and the thought of being alone again, frightens her a lot. Her fatal flaw would probably be her loyalty. She will be with you from start to end, not matter what. She likes to say that stubbornness is her fatal flaw due to her being a very ambitious individual, but its not.
Powers ;; Much like any other child of Venus, she poses the regular ‘powers’. She also holds the ability to charmspeak, unlike some of her siblings. It is the one power that has always been natural to her and sometimes she does it without even thinking about it. That is the one power that she is most skilled in. Her second most skilled power is changing her appearance. She can manipulate her skin, hair and eye color without much struggle. If she uses enough energy, she can change her height and weight. All those effects only last for about an hour or two. She shows weakness in the control over make up and clothing. She can only make it so her mascara doesn’t smear and that her shoes never get dirty. Some of the powers cause draining on her energy.

History ;; William was a young, attractive actor. He had won multiple different awards for his success in the show business. He modeled for different companies as well. He had fame, fortune and was gorgeous. That’s what drew Venus to him. They met at a bar in a nice restaurant. Obviously William was attracted to her the instant she walked in. Putting on a charming smile, he invited her over. After some expensive drinks and a few hours of mindless chatter, William brought Venus to his large house in San Diego and stuff happened. The next day, William woke up to an empty bed. He didn’t mind, as he had had a few one night stands before. He thought this one was no different.
William was wrong when 9 months later, he hears a knock on his door. At it there was a small woven basket with a baby wrapped in blankets. Attached to the basket, there was a note. It Simply explained that this was his child and how she already had a name. It also explained of the fact that he would have to take her to a camp when she was 10 due to the fact she was part goddess. Of course the note went into a bit more depth, but that didn’t matter due to the fact that William now had a child he had to care for.
Guin grew up in a house where her dad wasn’t home often. She was homeschooled as her father didn’t want her involved with the press just yet. She didn’t have any friends or siblings at the time so she became very attached to her nanny. Having her dad either always on set or at interviews, she grew up not feeling love from him. And due to her unknown heritage, it obviously affected her greatly.
When she was 8, her father married to a young model. She had already been married once and had had a child. So that meant that Guin finally had a sibling. She didn't mind having the new additions to the family, due to the fact that her father was happy. Having her father still not be around as often, made them still not have an actual relationship. So she went to her step-mother who was home much more often. She grew a bond with her after a few months.
On her 10th birthday, her father came home with a pale face. He had been dreading the day to find out if the note he got when Guin was first given to him was the truth or not. He had walked to his backyard and called her over. He explained they were going on a trip for her birthday. Guin didn’t know what it was, but was excited to finally have her dad want her and do something with her.
In the end, Guin was left at the Wolf House to train in order to get into the camp that she was told about. It took her a month of rigorous training and a week to make sure she was in top notch shape before she passes Lupa’s tests. She was soon allowed to go to the camp that was now known as Camp Jupiter. She was terrified when she first entered, but was able to hide it well. She was not claimed until after a year of her being at camp. She got her tattoo and then simply went on with her life.
She did fight in both wars. She was a mdeic for the first war. Seeing all the damaged bodies put a toll on her mental health. She had been there to charmspeak them into remaining awake while the medics did their job. The second war she was on the battlefield. She was put in charge to gaurd the gate in case any beasts got past the other troops. She ended up seeing much more blood in that one. She did not have much involvment in the goverment interaction as she had been stationed to stay at camp.
Guin still doesn’t go see her other family, however writes to them once a month about the wonderful ‘boarding school’. She turned 17 this year and has finally felt like she mattered. She survived Roman training after all, and her new family was all that mattered to her now.

Guin woke up at a dreadful 5:30 AM. It was Saturday. She groaned as she flopped back onto her bed, trying to force herself back to sleep. Alas, she could not, so she ended up getting up and getting ready. Combing her hair and then throwing on her camp shirt, her shorts, her Rainbows and slinging her small side purse across her shoulder, she walked out of the cohort house she resided in.
Walking around in the dark was rather annoying. She didn’t even know why she decided to wander the streets of New Rome, yet here she was. She decided to make her way to the town center where the fountain was. Guin walked for a good 5 minutes before she truly realized how quiet it was. She could hear her own footsteps echo along the empty streets. Checking her watch, it read 6:15 AM. She knew that some of the shops opened at 6:30, including her favourite bistro.
Finally making it to the town center, she sat down on one of the benches. She then truly took in the beauty of silence. She could examine things around her. Like the fact that there were a few stray cats roaming the streets and that there was a crack in the window of the store to her left. Guin felt a smile etch onto her face.
Looking to her right, she noticed flowers that were in full bloom and how they seemed to give off a soothing vibe. She simply sat on the bench, enjoying the little things that she noticed. Like how the wind was just the right temperature or how Apollo’s sun was peeking up from the dark. She wished the moment could last forever. But as soon as she saw shop owners coming out to make sure their things were top notch, she knew it was over.
Sighing, she decided to get up and head to the bistro she loved. Passing by one of the stray cats she kneeled and stroked it before getting back up and making her way to the door. Upon entering, the smell of coffee intoxicated her. And she also realized things were silent. Smiling, she quickly ordered a coffee before going over to the table that was in the corner by the front window and sitting down. She glanced outside and as she sipped on her coffee, watched as the beautiful town began to wake up.
Beauty really could be found in anything.
