Appearance ;; Popoff Pavlov Krupin is roughly 6'6” and 190 lbs. Popoff has white as snow hair with ruby red eyes that seem to glow. His deathly pale skin makes Krupin seem more of a ghost then human. A small frame makes him look closer to a stick then a legionnaire. Popoff's white hair is grown out and is now in a single long braid. His posture is rigid strait, but he moves with the grace of the Fae never missing a step. A voice that booms with the heavy bass of the trombone. A number of scars can be found over his body from battles long ago and some from last week. Popoff's choice of recreational ware normally includes a faded brown leather fedora and jacket that match. The hat was a gift from his grandfather and the jacket was from his grandmother before his quest. He has been taking to keeping a stolen amazian whip hidden underneath his jacket attached to his belt in the back. A shoulder holster carries a Ruger 900C and a imperial gold pugio.
Personality ;; Popoff is an overall relaxed fellow taking the world one day at a time. Krupin use to be a very serious young fellow before his quest.. Popoff has a smart mouth and uses witty banter often when he is unsure about himself. Sarcastic confidence is another aspect he utilizes frequently in conversation Krupin can not resist the urge to use horrible one liners. Popoff can not stand by when he sees a damsel (Senior, cripple or child as well) in distress. These behavior habits have often gotten the legacy in trouble with leaders of unmoral organizations that abuse such individuals. The Russian accented fellow can talk to somebody all day about almost anything. Krupin's favorite way to greet one of his friends is with a big Russian bear hug—a habit he picked up from his father and his father's parents. He treats women with respect and enjoys flirting with them despite the fact that Popoff finds them stressful.
Popoff fears the gods of Rome more then what he respects them. To him they are a bunch of children with more power then what is good for them. Krupin of course would never admit this out loud—even under torture. He dislikes the gods that cheat on their spouse the most. The legacy feels that with great power comes great responsibility. Popoff will always treat the Roman gods with the etiquette they require, but he never enjoys it. Popoff feels that family is one of the most important things in the world, but his relationship with his older sisters stresses this belief. Krupin enjoys Vodka, Soup, and activities in the sun. His dislikes include overbearing women, Nazism, shackles, torture, and violence.
Popoff prefers to keep or increase range between enemies and then use range weapons to weaken or take out opponents before they have a chance to approach him. If an opponent reaches melee range, then Popoff focuses melee unarmed attacks to quickly take them out and allow him to back off from other opponents.
Powers ;; Popoff is immune to sunlight making it impossible for him to tan, get sun burn, get sun poisoned, or collect Vitamin D.
Unnatural aim with non-throwing type range weapons. Popoff can hit most targets that proffession weapon enthusiast struggle to hit with ease and with out practice. Krupin however can not make impossible shots, which includes targets out of range for the weapon. (For instance using a handgun to hit a target over a hundred yards away) This ability seems to only function with weapons that launch a projectile and that can be reasonable held by a person. His aim does not work throwing weapons such as daggers, spears, and Javelins.
Can play the Lute on a professional level. Popoff can play any song that he has heard in his lifetime over the lute and even play songs never written or played before to express his emotions on an empathetic level. This power is not hindered by the condition of the lute as long as it is still capable of making sound with it's strings.. He can not read music regardless of what instrument it was written for. Krupin's gift can not be used with any other instrument of any kind.
Family ;; Hui Chan-Krupin (Mother, Legacy of Apollo and Demeter, Claimed by Demeter, Deceased),
Anton Krupin (father, Legacy of Mars and Mercury, claimed by Mars)
Alyona, Daria, and Vasilisa Krupin (Triplet older Half Sisters)
Aiguo and Blair Chan ( Hui's parents, Popoff's Grandparents)
Alexander and Popova Krupin (Anton's Parents, Popoff's Grandparents)
Apollo, Demeter, Mars, and Mercury (Great Grandparents)
History ;; Anton and Hui Chan meet and fell in love during their time in the legion. During their last year in the legion, Hui became pregnant with Popoff's older sisters. Their service in the legion came up about a month before the due date. Anton and Hui had a shotgun wedding. Popoff's older sisters were born on June 6th. About three months later, Hui Chan-Popoff was pregnant with child again. The doctor told Popoff's parents that their next child would be a girl as well.
Hui and Anton could not decide upon the name of their youngest child. Popoff's parents took the three names to the prophet of the legion and let him (or her) decide. The name the prophet predicted to be the best was Popova Pavlov Krupin (the second) after Anton's grandmother. Popoff was born on June thirteenth as a male which shocked everyone. The Krupins did not have a male name picked out. Since the prophet already told them that Popova was the best name—they decided to keep it. His parents turned it into the masculine form of the name, Popoff to avoid childhood trauma.
Popoff's mother died when Popoff turned two from breast cancer. Krupin never felt the lost of his mother because his grandmother's took over that role for him till he entered the legion. Krupin and his sisters. for some reason picked up the Russian accent his father spoke with making them sound almost Russian by nature. Popoff Pavlov Krupin went to the wolf house during the summer of his eighth year and was in role with the Legion by the end of summer. Popoff was put into the same cohort as his middle sister, Daria, who was a legacy of Mars.
Daria took it upon herself to push Popoff's training as hard as possible to make sure he would not be an embarrassment to her. Daria didn't realize it at the time, but training with a legacy of Mars would push Popoff to the utmost breaking point. Regardless of how hard Daria pushed Popoff he could never meet the high standards of her training. It didn't help of course that his two older sisters took it upon themselves to make sure Popoff stayed out of trouble and teach him about non-combat oriented things, such as history, math, english, and other school subjects.
Krupin fought his way to the top of his cohort right behind his sister. This led to the huge surprise of Popoff being chosen to lead a quest over his sister. Popoff choose his own team, which consisted of a group of twins from the first cohort instead of Daria. Krupin feared that Daria's strong overbearing personality would interfere with the quest. Krupin's grandfather, Alexander, lent Popoff his lucky hat for the trip and his grandmother bought him a new leather jacket to match it.The quest itself was quite daunting. Popoff and the twins traveled to Washington state by bus to find a dungeon that hid a relic guarded by a powerful foes, a horde of monsters, traps, and nasty surprises. The group barely survived the dungeon to emerge victorious on the seventh day after they went under.
Nobody enjoyed the bus ride up to Washington State, so they decided to return using alternate transportation. The group did not have enough money left over for three plane tickets back to San Francisco. They manage to find a boat in Seattle that was willing to take them to San Francisco since they were already heading that way. The trip was suppose to only take about twelve hours. The small vessel never stood a chance when the storm came out of nowhere to capsize the ship. Popoff managed to grab the relic just before he was sucked off the sinking ship in the ocean.
Popoff managed to float on a piece of driftwood still carrying the relic. Lost at sea for three days, Krupin was beginning to hallucinate when he was picked up by a vessel on the way to Chille in South America. Popoff didn't realize it was a Amazonian vessel till it was too late. The ship was delivering some pressure sensitive large items. Popoff had his weapons and the relic confiscated by the Amazonian crew. The legacy waited till the ship got into port before making his move to escape. Popoff started a fire in the hull of the ship from some of the goods the Amazon's were transporting.
During the panic of trying to save their merchandise from the fire, Krupin managed to get the relic and himself off of the ship. Along with some items that he confiscated from the group of sailing women, which included the magical whip Krupin currently carries. This would start his rivalry with the Amazons that would get him into so much trouble on his way back to camp across the two continents.
The young legacy first traveled through through the mountain and then the rain forest always barely keeping ahead of the amazonian hunters chasing him. Krupin came across something so much worse in those forest. The Amazons had finally caught up to him when they both were attack by a family of Cyclops. Popoff was taken to a temple to be eaten by the patriarch of the family. At the last second Popoff slipped out of his binds and escape by setting fire to their home. Feeling bad for the amazons that were captured on his behalf, Popoff managed to come back at night and freed them as well. He would come to regret this later on when they picked up his trail again in Columbia.
In Columbia he stopped a group of thugs that were harassing a young woman. Little did the young Legacy know that they were part of a Columbia Criminal Organization. Popoff was captured a few days later while he was asleep in an ally way. The criminal organization was going to kill him, but he manage to escape by the skin of his teeth after killing the boss of the criminal organization. Popoff's relationship with other criminal organizations went about as well as that meeting did. This lead to his nickname “vorágine rojos”, which ruffly translates into “The red-eye Maelstrom”. The number of groups wanting revenge on Krupin seemed to only increase the further he traveled back home.
Popoff's next few years became a non stop run from the amazons, monsters, criminals, and the police. He was captured, tortured, and lost the relic to only reclaim it a few days later so many times it was no longer funny. The demigod tried to avoid killing people when he could, but one can not always hold back when criminals come at you with guns. The body count soon rose into the triple digits. Popoff manage to avoid ever killing any of the Amazons and the police. The Amazons were more interested in capturing him alive then killing him and the police force were just doing their jobs as far as mortals were concerned.
The trip ventrally ended taking close to ten years to finish getting back into the United States of America after being deported about five times by the USA border patrol for not having identification. He managed to “borrow” a car from a group of some not so nice people. The drive to San Francisco was probably the most relaxing experience Popoff had since he left so long ago. It has only been a couple of days since he has been back from his quest.

Popoff Pavlov Krupin stood underneath the blazing hot sun after his morning karta. Krupin's dark brown leather fedora covered the top of his head as a large two foot braid came out of the back of the hat. Popoff's shirt was that of a kackie button up oxford shirt. (Top two buttons undone) Brown hiking pants with plenty of pockets for holding all kinds of things. His brown satchel hung off the side of his hip the oppisite of where Krupin caries his magical whip—stolen from some mean Amazons. Brown leather boots upon Popoff's feet matched his belt and hat.
His mourning walk was a quiet and dour one as he remember his grandmother, Blair, complaining to him over dinner last night about bringing home a girl or a great-grandchild for her after being gone for ten years. It was hard enough for Krupin to try to stay alive on his quest. If Popoff had time to find someone to have a relationship with, then he could have probably been better spent it walking home faster. There were a couple of close calls with the head amazon hunter. However, Krupin could not tell if it was romantic tension or the fact that she wanted to make him pay for sinking her ship, stealing her treasure, and making her chase him across some of the world's most dangerous country side.
Blair Chan, his grandmother on his mother's side, told Popoff that he should go pray and offer an offering to Venus in hopes that she would pair him up with a good girl. Popoff pouted and told her that he did not need help to find a woman, but she insisted and everybody has to listen to their grandmother. It seemed to be impossible to convince his grandmother that he just wanted to spend the next year or so figuring out what he wanted to be. Spending so long on the run for his life didn't leave him a lot of time to figure out what he was going to do with himself. He could stay in the legion, but Popoff has had enough of violence. Maybe he could attend the college and study to be a chief or something.
Arriving at the temple he pulled out a small offering of Frankincense, Myrrh, and freshly picked wildflowers from his satchel. Popoff put the small offering on the alter and knelt his head. Mumbling under his breath a short prayer, “Please help me find a woman to keep my grandmother Blair off my back.” Popoff did not expect anyone to pay any head to his small half prayer. The ritual was more for his grandmother's benefit then his own. Popoff's life had just become a whole lot less complicated and he wanted to keep it that way for a while. Women in Popoff's experience were nothing but trouble and complication.
