Name ;; Hadrianna Elliot Stowisowski
Nickname(s) ;; Anna
Age ;; 14
Birthday ;; October 31
Gender ;; Female

Appearance ;;
Hadrianna is a whole 4’7” tall, which embarrasses her hugely. She wants to be tall, even though she is still growing. Aside from her height, she really is beautiful, which makes sense considering her mother is Venus. She doesn’t have the platinum blonde hair that most would think of for a supermodel or something, and her hair is a little too wild at times for that. Yet she is lovely. Her skin in like a frappaccino color, warm light brown, emphasis on warm. Her eyes are deep brown and glisten with life. Her nose is a little on the flat side, but she likes it that way, so she never uses her powers on it. Her smile is big and bright with perfect teeth. Her hair frames her face in dark chocolate brown waves (unless he straightens it, which does happen) reaching about halfway down her back. She never brushes it because it would totally poof out. A comb works though, so it tends to be tedious to get ready, but she loves her hair, so she finds it worth it. This goes with her powers. She can change her appearance, but she rarely does. She just likes herself. She is a thin little thing. She likes to wear pretty much anything, though the camp uniform is not on her top list. She feels herself to be more of an autumn.
Personality ;;
Mostly, to understand Hadrianna’s personality, one must understand the past she tries to hide. The recent past. Anna used to have a lot of hope. Now she doesn’t have a lot of, how to put it nicely, caring.When she first arrived at Camp, she had this grand hope of a wonderful future of being super popular and dating a really cute, sweet guy and finding true love. Daughter of Venus, what did you expect? Then he came along. His name was Mage. Son of Apollo. She found him enchanting. This was roughly about the age of 11, going on 12 this happened. Long story short (see history for the juicy details) they dated 2 years. A solid 2 years. Which to a little girl is like forever, like you might as well get married. She dreamed they would too. Then one day Mage went and up and left her with no explanation. Anna was devastated. She didn’t even talk to anyone for a month. Then a sudden shift. Some say it was because she found out Mage was with another girl so soon, and who else but a girl in his cohort he used to talk about being his best female friend (though he told her he didn’t like her that way).
Now she is a different young woman. She dresses fashionably as always and goes to the spa with her siblings sometimes to pamper herself, takes excellent care of her appearance, and seems to be on top of the world every day. The truth is, she simply doesn’t care what boys think of her anymore. Psychologists might say she’s seeking attention and/or trying to get Mage jealous of her now she’s so much better and he lost her, but of course she denies all of this. She says she just likes to look good. It makes her feel good. Fact is, that was thanks to advice her father had given her when she went to him about her problems in a letter. He wrote a large thick letter back in a box of all her favorites from SweetTarts to Reeses to… a little purse compact makeup set (see history if you find this strange) with the curly silver script announcing he’d bought it at Saks Fifth Avenue on the glossy black case. Inside he’d tucked a note: “Look good, feel good”. Seem vane? Well, Venus and all. Don’t worry, the long letter was much more fatherly supportive. Now she carries the compact in her little purse all the time (yes, she has a little purse. It’s cream. Her father got it for her as part of her going away to Camp party when she was close to turning ten).
But I digress. Since that change of attitude, now Anna is incredibly self-confident. Oh yes, and he sent her a pink iPod that she is not totally attached to. Okay, so she sounds really vane, but she’s really a good person. She helps out a lot. One of her favorite activities is cooking treats to take to the infirmary to give to the people who are stuck overnight there. She loves loving others. Just, you know, not in the romantic way anymore. Or so she thinks.
Powers ;;
Appearance change – Hadrianna can change her appearance, which she actually doesn’t do much. Her father taught her to be confidant in her own skin, so the most she does with this power is possibly straighten her hair when she feels like being different. Or her eyes. She toys with her eyes now and again, but not often. Usually making them green.
Love Magic – another one she doesn’t use. She’s not very good at it anyway. But if she so desired, she could influence others’ feelings towards her. Only towards her. She could not make someone love someone else. Though there have been odd times when she does use this. There was that one time that some guy was hitting on her quite a lot to the point where she felt uncomfortable around him, and she used her powers to turn his attention away from her. He doesn’t bother her anymore.
Family ;;
Stewart Stowisowski - father
Venus - mother
Amelia MacArthur - half sister
Melody Rhodes - half sister
History ;;
Stewart was the oddball of the Stowisowski family. His mother married into the family, and she wasn’t that popular with them, so all he has to show for it is the last name. His lack of popularity in the family, he made up for in other ways. He moved to San Francisco when he was 20 and started a career as a model. It was tough work, but he was good at it. Usually modelled suits and formal clothing. People teased him that he married a hundred women seeing as he was in multiple wedding shoots and commercials for top line dressmakers and suitmakers. And, well, they didn’t like putting someone so striking as a supporting role, so he usually posed right with the “bride” in the role of groom. He even made it into one of the James Bond movies as an extra, but a prominent extra. Commercials galore, more than a few magazines. He even penned an article for Men’s Health magazine.
Well, naturally, Venus was curious. She posed as a client and invited him to coffee. Again. And again. She never gave him a shoot, but he didn’t care much because he was falling for her. Eventually he did ask her out and of course she accepted and a little too much wine later, she left. He was certainly upset, but he got back on track quickly. Until he showed up with a baby and an explanation that she was a Roman goddess. Now you must see that the Stowisowski family was certainly Catholic, but seeing as his father, mother, his siblings, and him, were not that popular, the family shunned them even from Mass. So Stewart had never considered religion at all. So to learn the “pagans” had something right, he just kind of shrugged it off. Either way, he knew he was a father now and this woman for whatever reason would be out of the picture. He accepted the Roman thing and gave her an appropriate name, considering he only knew a few famous Romans and he just feminine-ized one of their names and boom, Hadrianna.
So what did he do? He took the baby to shoots with him. Instant hit. Seeing as the baby already had gorgeous eyes and beautiful features, she was in a Gerber ad before she could sit up on her own accord. Then Stewart signed a contract with a few top line stores to model for their ads and well, Hadrianna came along. The ones who had infant and toddler lines loved her. Her first big store ad was the toddler section of the Saks Fifth Avenue Holiday Catalogue, modeling a dress that was worth roughly $150 and playing with a toy dollhouse that could be bought online for about the same amount. Hadrianna grew up in front of a camera and she loved it. Yet it did teach her one thing: you can fake just about anything. Bored to tears with what someone is saying? Smile and act interested. Usually works. Feeling sad they picked someone else’s picture over yours? Put on your favorite cozy sweater in that color that compliments your eyes so well and life is good. As her father put it: look good, feel good. Which meant she usually felt pretty good. Optimistic. Hopeful.
A note came from her mother, telling her and her father of the camp she would have to go to. Stewart was understandably unhappy to give her up, but put on a good face and threw her a going away party. He dubbed it “boarding school”. This was one week before her tenth birthday. On her birthday, she ‘left
. That is to say, the Wolves came for her. Lupa tested her and it was there that she learned of her mild powers. By the end of the month, Lupa loved her, mostly because Hadrianna had manipulated her to. So she was sent away. It was cold, early December when she made it to the camp. It was a scary environment, but she mailed her father and told him all was well and she was there. It also gave him her mailing address, to which he promptly sent a care package. She kept him posted with monthly letters, to which he always responded.
You already know the story of Mage, however, from the personality. She was very into him. Two years of planning a happy future, loving and being loved. She was too young to consider having kids in her future, but she’d seen her father’s wedding show photos and wanted a shiny white dress of her own. Then he left her. Actually, it had been the day before their dating-for-two-years anniversary that he did it. She was horribly distraught. For an entire month, she became mute, barely ate, anything. All she seemed to do was train and write in her diary. Then out of the blue everything changed. Her father sent her a new diary to symbolize a fresh start, for one. And she took it seriously. She opened up to her friends and family again and became this confidant little go-getter. Sure, there were the wars to try to bring her down again, but seeing as she wasn’t a good fighter and she was awfully young, she was always on the backlines or in the infirmary helping, so she didn’t know much of it. It was scary, sure, but at least she didn’t see the frontline. She could stomach some stuff, but mangled dead bodies was not one of them. Which makes it strange that she helps out at the infirmary a lot now, though she likes to think she makes her biggest difference there.
