Rugged and worn out, Adam is someone who looks a bit like a vagrant. Jeans and worn out boots with Flannel shirts to keep him warm is about it. He needs a shave every now and again. He keeps his hair cropped close, almost buzzed so he can keep cooler in warmer weather. His hazel eyes hide a lot of pain, though it's obvious that he has a lot of big talk. He's got plenty of scars and tattoos, his nose looks like it had been broken multiple times. He has a large scar across his cheek from when he was six. Adam also has many scars that litter his back, chest and arms. Adam walks and holds himself well as someone who can back up his big talk. He has a bear like stature that tends to be over bearing at times, most people will mistake him for a child of Mars or Vulcan. He's got plenty of muscle, though it's much athletic and lithe than what a typical roman should look like. He had seen many pictures of what Romans were supposed to look like, though he feels a bit like he's not much of one.
Personality ;; Adam has the greatest collection of faults and weaknesses as well as strengths. To his family, he is a great protector, someone who is fiercely loyal, dedicated and protective. He trains to get strong, so he can one day find his brother, so he can keep killing monsters. He has learned through his seven years of wandering, lost before getting to camp about monsters. He has extensive knowledge and won't hesitate to kill them without a second thought. When it comes to his brother, and his divine siblings, there isn't anything that he wouldn't do for them. He'd kill, lie, cheat and steal if it was life or death. He can be brash and look without leaping at times, but he's got a calculated mind when it comes to fighting and his archery skills are second to none. He's courageous and a good person, but does whatever he has to when the time comes.
There are many things that he's done that Adam regrets. Many times he's had to do things that aren't really befitting of a demi-god. He's got a chip on his shoulder and talks a big game, he won't hesitate to back up his words with a fist or swift kick. He tends to be arrogant and talks a good deal of crap, but his sarcasm is just a defensive mechanism. He's good at protecting people, but he also tends to put up a wall to keep other people from caring about him. Few people see his soft side and when it comes to children Adam goes into automatic big brother mode, most people just write him off as an arrogant jerk who's calloused. His biggest flaw is that he can't see what's so special about himself. Adam feels he's just a grunt to do grunt work.
Powers ;;
Extra warmth- Adam has the extraordinary ability that his temperature is in a constant state of movement. When he gets overly cold or the temperature dips below freezing, he can raise his body temperature. He can only do this for himself and it makes him glow slightly. The higher he raises his temperature, the more energy it takes for him to maintain it. If he raises his temperature too fast it will make him pass out.
Sunspot- Adam can gather light, where only he can tangibly touch it and make it expand quickly, creating small explosions. The bigger the explosions the more energy it takes for him to gather light. The light itself isn't doesn't do any actual damage, it's the impact of the light compression that knocks people down or out. It can disrupt electrical equipment, cause temporary blindness, and a server case of sunburn.
Archery- Though he can accurately hit nearly any target, moving or stationary, with any thrown object, Archery is his true forte. Since his father is the god of Archery, he's extremely good with his bow and arrows. He's extremely skilled in shooting on the run. He's really accurate, and though before he turned ten, he never picked up a bow but he has plenty of natural skill.
Liar liar- Since his father is the god of Truth in a way and his great-great-grandfather is Mercury, Adam knows when someone is lying and to top it off, he's really good at lying. Though against a child of Mercury or someone who is a direct demi-god of the truth or against the gods, anyone could see through the lies. Against mortals, it's pretty handy from time to time, though he works better with little white lies as opposed to the bigger fish.
Healing- Adam can heal himself, mostly cuts, bruises and minor injuries in half the time it would take normal injuries. This doesn't extend to broken bones or deep gashes. He can't do anything to heal other people it only extends to himself.

Born at the beginning of February, Adam was a much awaited joy to Apollo and Anna. Anna adored her little boy, calling him the light of her life. Questions about his father never came up till he found out that he was going to have a little brother. But as Adam was only two, he really couldn't ask. But his mother told him the story about how a wonderful doctor had become her night in shining armour while she worked abroad in developing countries to aid children that were like him. She was a nurse, working with a foreign aid agency, she had gone to Africa to help vaccinate children there where she had met a brilliant young doctor. They had fallen in love, but after a few months he was asked to go somewhere else. That she loved working with the children, but since she was going to have a baby, she decided to return home to Kansas. Adam felt bad that she couldn't do that any more because Adam and soon Michael were more important to her than anyone else in the world. Adam was told that his father loved him deeply and was very proud of his little boy.
After Michael was born, Adam was given the responsibility of being a big brother. He took to it like a fish to water. He did everything he could to help his mother, who had met a mechanic named Robert. Adam was happy to finally have a father figure in the picture and loved it more than anything in the world. He really cared for Robert and Robert adored Adam. At the time that Adam turned seven years old, something horrible happened. Two young demi-gods under one roof had attracted so many monsters. Hellhounds attacked the house while Robert was at work and Anna was at home with the boys. She screamed at the boys to run for Adam to keep Michael safe. Adam started crying as he ran, pulling his little brother along, going as fast as his little legs could carry him. Adam ran with Michael till he reached Robert's shop before crying telling his step-father about what had happened. At first, Robert didn't believe the boy, scolding him for telling such an audacious tale. But when they returned to the house, it was destroyed, leaving nothing left of Anna.
Something inside Robert changed. He became distant and cold towards the boys. Adam blamed himself for the disappearance of his mother. That it was his fault his step-father would be at the bar till late at night. Then one night when he had turned ten, Adam was sitting up, waiting for Robert to come home, when he answered the door to find a man of great warmth. Someone that felt like an old friend to him. The man stayed till Robert came home, telling Robert that while it was the boys that attracted the monsters, there was a safe place for them. The man left and Robert made the boys pack their bags. IT was a cold and stormy night, the weather threatened a late snow in the winter season. Adam was afraid. But he put on a brave face so as to not worry his little brother. Robert put them in the back of his pick up truck and they drove nearly all through the night. Suddenly the truck hit a patch of ice and went careening off the road. Robert and the boys made it out of the car okay before they were attacked by a cyclops. It barelled into their truck as it exploded, watching as it snatched up Robert, him shouting for them to run to the house.
There they were faced by the wolves, and after a rather short few days, they were not eaten and judged by Lupa to be worth of being Romans. They were directed to go to Camp Jupiter, but the two boys had other plans. Driven by revenge, Adam and Michael wanted to kill the monsters that had slaughtered their parents. Adam wanted to punish those that had hurt him more than anything else in the world. He and Mikey had done some questionable things, fighting against monsters turned into their own righteous crusade. They were going to end them before the two brothers could die. Adam kept a journal of all the monsters they had come across, some more than once. He even stole a set of throwing knives, which he noted, didn't do much in the way of harming monsters, it wasn't until they met another demi-god who had caught them trying to steal food from his restaurant that he had given them a better way of killing monsters. Imperial gold. Knives and a Bow with imperial gold tipped arrows were what Adam was drawn to. They couldn't stay for long, feeling the need to keep moving. Five years had gone by, the boys lying and stealing to make sure they had enough of what they could. They would hustle money from people or stay in as many warm places as they could. Adam did everything he could to take care of his little brother. They fought against so many monsters, each time, Adam would add a little more to his journals on monsters. He soon started having a rather extensive knowledge of monsters. There were always those little whispers in his ears, every arrow seemed to fly just perfectly and find the right target.
Somewhere around Seattle they were attacked by a Manticore. The brothers were fighting next to a cliff when Adam became cornered. The manticore swiped at him, forcing him to fall and loose his footing. Grasping at the edge of the cliff, Adam watched in horror as Michael tackled the Manticore, knocking them both of f the edge as he shouted at Adam to pull himself up. He walked, crying, lamenting and grieving for his lost brother. He wandered for two years before coming to Camp Jupiter. Listening to the feelings that the suns rays would give him. There was always that tiny shread of hope in his heart that his brother was still alive. Adam felt he would know for a fact if his brother was dead. Something told him he might find his brother in this camp that they were supposed to be at, that this would be a safe haven.
