So this just happened...

So it would seem my computer decided to give up the ghost in the last 24 hours. Takes at least 10 minutes to start up, dies fast, can't load beans, and don't even try to multitask. And I do not have the money for a new one or even the repairs on this one. I have honestly no idea how long this absence will last. I can only post little stuff like this because my teeny tiny iPod is all that lets me post. So no more replies from me for a while. I'm really sorry. This came really suddenly.

Thank the Lord my birthday is in May and I could talk my family into giving me donations to the cause of the new lappy instead of any other sort of gift. And they were cool enough to realize the dire need and do it early! So I present to you: Reginald, the Toshiba. He is up and running his very first day! Which means I have a lot of installing to do. Antivirus is check. Malware still needs to happen. Adobe I just did. Microsoft Word is WIP. And iTunes, I don't even know where to start (and my music is all gone on the portable hard drive at the repair shop that is currently backing up the lost data from the dead lappy). So it's going to be a process for a little bit, but at least the process has started! I'll be back on the boards (hopefully) in no time!

I'm glad you were able to get a new laptop! Though I do always dislike trying to get all the good programming on it. And a happy early birthday to our fearless leader! Hope this laptop is good to you, may your posts be many and your viruses and bugs be none! Cheers.
