Name ;; Apollina Palaiokostas Eleutherios
Nickname(s) ;;n/a
Age ;;17 (really 1968 years old)
Birthday ;; BC VIII Kal. Oct. (22nd of September)
Gender ;;Female
Species ;; Demigod
Immortal Parent ;; Apollo
Years at Camp ;; N/a; just arrived
Celebrity Claim ;; Anna Popplewell
Appearance ;;Apollina has brown hair and an olive complexion. Her hair looks almost black in some lighting, but almost a light brown in others, depending on what type of lighting she's in. She could normally be found wearing nice clothes, given her status back in her own time, and even now, she'd rather attempt to make her own clothes than wear the clothes of this time. She is around 5'6 in the height department. Apollina is used to fancy clothes from her time, and feels more comfortable in them than in the normal clothes of today.
Personality ;; Apollina takes orders from anyone growing up in a society where women were to be seen and not heard. They weren't expected to take part in conversations except with their husband and family, and Apollina was the prime example of that. She took orders, and did whatever her husband told her to do, fearing punishment if she refused. She has a strong will even though she's not a strong-willed individual and she's a good listener. Apollina is someone anyone can talk to and not be judged by her.
She loves to cook and loves children though she can get somewhat bored by the normal chores women were expected to do back in her time. Now, though, she will have a chance to become an entirely different person not dependent on a husband for anything if she doesn't wish to be, and she can have her own views and speak her mind instead of holding her tongue.
Powers ;; Apollina has the power to heal herself, as well as heal others. Right now, she can only do small things such as healing a paper cut but soon she'll be able to heal most of the wounds, though the greater the wound the more power it takes out of her. Apollina can over exhaust herself, and wind up fainting after doing a lot of healing with stopping for a few minutes. Though that's by far her most useful power, as well as the power that she'll be the best at, it's not her only one. Apollina is also able to manipulate light, though the larger and longer she manipulates light the more it takes out of her. It leaves her skin a very pale color, unlike the usual tan skin that she has, and she often has to take a break for a few days before she can try doing it again.

Alexander Palaokostas, forty-five, deceased;step/adopted father
Artemisia Palaokostas, twenty-five, deceased;sister

History ;; Apollina Palaokostas was born in the times
of Ancient Rome. She was the daughter of a high ranking military officer's wife and Apollo. Her mother had been tricked by Apollo into thinking that he was her husband, and soon after fell pregnant not suspecting in the slightest that it would be anyone's but her husband's. Apollina grew up with the knowledge of gods and demigods but didn't know that she was one. She grew up with many siblings and was one of the youngest. As such, she wasn't privy to the information that her older siblings were. Especially her older brothers, who pretty much got everything they wanted while Apollina stayed inside for the most part and cooked, and helped her mother with whatever.
At 15, she was married to a high ranking military officer and became Apollina Eleutherios. She disliked her husband but was higher up than most Grecian wives were in this time. She was more like a servant than a wife, and got used to being punished for doing something wrong. Her husband had actually caused her to lose her child and she grew to resent him.
She was treated as a normal wife; take care of the children, care for the husband, take care of the house, cook, sew, and the other normal duties that a woman would be expected to know how to do. When she was 16, she became pregnant, but subsequently lost the child due to her husband. Apollina had to move on, acting as if nothing had happened and continue about like it was any other day. Apollina never told Nicomedes, and she never would. At 16, she was walking in the village of Rome with her husband, and they watched as Rome burned in the distance and then watched as it was rebuilt. When Apollina was 17, her husband and her went for a walk and he was busy talking to someone, while she was admiring a building that she had never noticed before. By the time her husband turned to look for her and continue on their way, she was gone. Apollina had been trapped in the Lotus Casink by her own accord. Her husband and family thought that she died and moved on with their lives; her husband married another woman and she was stuck in the Lotus Casino for centuries.
Finally, Calypso managed to send someone to get Apollina out of the Lotus Casino. She was taken out of the trap and suddenly was in an entirely different world with no language to communicate in and no idea of what was going on. The demigod who got her out spoke very poor Ancient Greek but managed to get her to Camp Half-Blood somewhat safe.

Sample RP ;; Apollina finished sewing the chiton, putting the last stitch in it before setting the needle and thread down. She carefully held the chiton out, inspecting it for any flaws but finding none. "Apollina!" Her husband called. She set the chiton down carefully before going to her husband. "Yes husband?" She asked, softly and quietly ready to do whatever he told her to do. "Why don't you come with me?" It wasn't a question but an order and she glanced back at her home. She still had to prepare their me, why was he taking her somewhere? "Very well husband, but I do hope we won't be long. I still have to prepare our meal." She relented, informing him she still had things to do. It wasn't the right thing to say and she knew it as soon as she got the hit to the cheek. She was silent, and grabbed her shoes as well as her husband's.
They left the house, and went into town. Apollina frowned, she had already gone to the market...had she not bought something they needed? Or worse, had she bought something that her husband didn't like? They didn't, however, go to the market and Apollina got more confused. "Well?" Her husband said, gesturing for her to go inside of the building. While he was waiting, he turned to talk to someone he presumably knew from somewhere. She looked at him uncertainly but entered anyway, not wanting to get hit again for refusing to do so. Then, the weirdest thing happened.
It was like something was pulling her inside, enticing her away. By the time Nicomedes noticed his wife was gone, it was too late. She was already trapped inside. With her mind still wondering, time began to change faster and faster with Apollina never changing. Except, she would never forget that the place took her away from her life, from her family and her place. Though time went on, and what was left of her family simply thought that she was dead. Nicomedes remarried, and had more children; her family died; her husband and his family died; Greece fell and Rome took its place; Rome too fell; thousands of years passed as the Lotus Casino moved wherever the gods moved eventually settling in America.
