Appearance ;;
Regulus dresses like royalty because he figures he is royalty. Blue is his favorite color, believing it to symbolize the skies where one grandfather rides his chariot and the other rules on high. Thus he wears blue so that everyone knows his grandad rules all that blue up there. He can sometimes also throw in some yellow for the sun, perhaps a tie or handkerchief (yes, he wears a handkerchief sometimes). But his regal appearance does not stop at his dress, oh no. His very facial features tell about his trouble with egotism. He is handsome and he knows it. He uses teeth whitener regularly to keep his pearly whites as bright as possible so his already winning smile can be as blinding as his grandfather’s chariot. His eyes are a cool green color, like his father’s, framed by perfectly cultured eyebrows. His hear is light brown and he keeps it swept to the side for that fresh from a windy day yet I still keep it nice look. He used to keep a comb handy, but has thankfully outgrown that; fingers work fine for what he’s shooting for. He also loves the properly seasoned golden tan look, which thankfully he needs no bed for. He can mildly control sunlight, which means giving himself a bit of a divine-worthy halo is easy peasy. He keeps a tall stature, even if he isn’t quite super tall (yet, he argues). Straight back, chin up, the nine. He also does take care of the outward things like keeping very careful care of his skin to avoid those nasty teenage spots so common. Sweat is a butt. However, he is flawless after decent effort and good genes.
Personality ;;
Regulus means “little king” in Latin, and that certainly describes this young man. He might not be a centurion or big wig, nor even a direct demigod, but he thinks he is all that and a bag of pita chips and hummus (which incidentally, he thinks is delicious). He believes himself to be above all others, and will tell you so. Sometimes he will train on his own with a conspicuous lack of shirt just to get attention, and attention he tends to get. Which he loves. When it comes to dealing with others, it’s fairly simple. He is above all, except those immediate children of Jupiter, whom he might actually give some credit, but only if they are older than him. Those in high standing? Bah, he defines high standing. He’s pretty much the best. He doesn’t have a lot of friends. He does have a small band who occasionally follows his lead just to get the attention of being associated with him. This includes guys trying to pick up tips on masculinity and popularity, and girls trying to get the title of girlfriend, if for just a day. On that note, he always always attends the Valentine’s, Christmas, Halloween, and other events, but has yet to actually invite a female to go with him. It should be noted he is straight, he just doesn’t believe there are any girls in camp worthy of him. Simple as that. He does hope someday to find the right girl for him, but in his little mind, he’s pretty sure she’s an exotic model and/or legal princess of a foreign country because, come on, who else could it be?
Powers ;;
FROM APOLLO:
Sunlight control – To a limited degree, Regulus can control present sunlight. He can turn light beams or mildly focus light. He cannot focus enough to catch things on fire. Thanks for asking, crazy person.
FROM JUPITER:
Lightning manipulation – He can produce – er, manipulate – lightning if the source is within 5 miles of his current location. That is, if there is a lightning-producing storm within 5 miles of him. Any further just doesn’t work.
Electricity immunity – He can be shocked, but it doesn’t do damage. Yes, this means a defibrillator is potentially useless, but he doesn’t know for sure seeing as he’s never had need for one. Let’s hope he doesn’t.

History ;;
Samuel Pevensie and Adella Neevs were sweethearts growing up ever since roughly 3 years before they both left the service. Sam was two years older, so he retired first from first and immediately proposed to his third-cohort love, Adella. The married immediately and lived together as she finished her service. Then when she too retired from the service, they planned their child. They only wanted one, and when Regulus came, they decided they were pleased with their decision to only have the one. Not because he was a handful, but because they didn’t want to be unfair, seeing as they were already so devoted to this tiny gurgling bundle. The doted over him constantly, their little legacy, their little boy Regulus. He was the star of his family, his class, everything he did. He loved to be on top, a place his parents regularly put him so he grew accustomed to it.
He entered the Legion already as ready as he could get. See, his father had several times taken him to the training field when he was, oh, 8 and up, and trained him there. So Regulus was accustomed to the sort of training, if it was still with toy weapons so they wouldn’t be overly heavy for the boy. His mother would come help him with the light powers, which he wasn’t overly good at either yet at that age. He had fun though. And even when he went into the Legion, he spent every Tuesday night eating home-cooked dinner with his mom and dad. He still went to chariot races with them. He was always king of a moma’s boy. Well, mama and papa’s boy. He got his fierce leadership drive from his father. Way to deal with others… well, mostly from his dad too. He grew in stature and stamina and also popularity. The Saturnalia parties his parents through every year became things people wanted to be invited to even in the Legion because, well, the connection with Regulus and his family. Samuel was very influential without actually having to take the lead. Regulus, though, he wanted to actually take the lead. He tried for centurionship over and over, and also for praetorship, but got neither. So he talked with his father and learned the ways to control the camp without controlling it. This was another reason he looked up so highly to his uncle, Chris Ashby. He wanted to be like him too. So, naturally, he tried to hang out with him, even given the centurion’s busy schedule. He admired Jason too, but didn’t see him as strong and driven as the Jupiter-folk.
He fought hard in both battles, getting mildly injured in both, but not missing the finale in either. The government trouble got him more riled up than Saturn did though. That was personal. Had he been given a vote, he would have voted execution of those who started it. He secretly not so secretly supports whoever killed the son of Quirinus.
Regulus should not be confused with not being interested in women in all these messy teen years. He found them attractive, just that he didn’t see any of them as worth of him, so he didn’t bother much except to try to get their attention. That was, until that one came to see him train… He quickly fell for Melody. They came and went. Especially two months ago when he left to see the Grand Canyon with his parents and witnessed the death of his parents and was captured himself by thugs who turned out to be the last remnants of the anti-Roman group. His whereabouts have been unknown since. Hopefully this will change soon.
