Rhiannon could teleport now, no runes or stones to lay on the ground or anything like that. Simply using the currents of the air she could appear from one place to another in the flap of a butterflies wing. Of course Josh had always been able to teleport them, but it gave him headaches heavy enough to make his nose bleed. That could signal some sort of brain injury, and gods know he has enough dead brain cells. So when Rhiannon wanted to take Arthur to see the world, she did. Showing him the seven wonders of the world, and describing the history behind them. She even took pictures, only because she had to hold the little monster or he'd run away. However as she became increasingly noticeably with child, she made smaller trips. It had been a year since she came back, and she was already near to bursting with a little sibling for Arthur. A girl, they had already planned a name out for her. Arthur could already say his sisters name, in his own little way. Wynn Thea Rogers.
At only two years old he was already scooting around on a tricycle, trying to be fast and furious around the yard. His mother was always happy to have him ride around on his trike, because when he decided to run he was so very hard to catch. A grandson of Mercury indeed, and claimed by that rock for brains Mars. Holding the slippery Mars/Mercury/Trivia hybrid child was a pain, but she managed it. Keeping a tight hold of him as they took picture with the geysers in Yellowstone National Park.
Yellowstone was a nice place to be and also a place away from Camp. Eve needed some time out, she loved Benjamin, she adored him and would die for him! but... Would she live for him? did she even have the right to think about living and being happy?! She didn't just had her hands stained in blood because of the time when she used to work for the government, but also because of all of those that she had killed along the months after she left and betrayed the government agency. She would never allow it to happen again and if the only whay to avoid it from happening again, was killing each one of those who had been in charge of chasing demigods.
But with all of that, would she ever be able to really be happy? to really have some time of peace?! and the most important one, could she ever be able to be happy with Benjamin? would they really have a future, or was she just damned to be alone?! She shook her head trying to relax, to think positivie even when she couldn't really. But then she heard something, voices and steps. She hid in a shadow and waited to see who was the one in that place, didn't they know that to go so deep into the park wasn't wise?!
Well, wasn't wise if you were just a mortal, well... someone with no powers at all. Eve looked at a woman with a boy. She didn't know why, but she knew the woman, she had seen her before... or not? She followed them for a moment still inside the shadows. Was that a nymph? and if she was... who was that kid? was she babysitting? or maybe she was the mother? son of a god? "is the kid yours?" asked Eve from a shadow, she wasn't ready to go out and formally say hi.

There weren’t many people here today, which was the reason Rhiannon had chosen to come visit the park. Still they kept mostly to the guide routes, just in case. It would be easier for Josh to find them if something where to happen. Of course she hoped that would not be the case, but she hadn’t always had the best of luck. She liked to make plans for in case something where to happen. Though she couldn’t be very close to people, sure the Mist obscured any strange happenings from mortal eyes, but she was floating most of the time. Arthur moved at inhuman speeds from time to time, and it was always possible that a monster could come out and try to eat the little legacy. Keeping a small amount of distance between her and the mortals was a good idea, also she hated humans. So there was that.
”Yes.” she replied sternly, so a slightly familiar sounding voice. Though she couldn’t place it, and hoped it wasn’t from the time she was a commander of monsters. After all, many of those creatures had reason to resent her other than being a demigod. Though she had to remind herself she wasn’t one anymore, so they might not even wish to eat her. If they wanted to taste godly children, it would be her son they were after. ”Why don’t you show yourself?” she asked, not entirely sure what or who she was talking to.
She observed the creature as she affirmed that the boy was hers. Eve then thought that maybe it was ok to step out, maybe nt, but well there was always a shadow close, and she was never defenseless. So when the creature asked why she didn't show herself, she stepped out of the shadow and looked at her and then at the boy, then back at her. "My apologies, out here, a demigod is never safe." She tried to play that coin, the innocent woman, who was only trying to explore the world.
"I'm Evelyn McCloud." she introduced herself and smiled softly then offered her hand to shake the nymph's, but she was still thinking that she knew her from other place, but she ouldn't tell from where. "He seems very active, right?" She tried to ask random questions, she didn't want to scare her, she only wanted to know more about her so she knew from where she had seen her. "I love to wander around, and in Camp that is impossible."
She smiled and shrugged. Half was right, the other half... well, she had also gone out to look for the last of the people that was in the government section that tortured the demigods some time ago. finally the peopl who knew about them would be in the underworld. Dangerous... yes, but it was not such a hugh thing if you thought that non of them would hurt another demigod again. She smiled at the Numph, she hoped she understood that she was no threat for them.
“I know you Evelyn.” The mother replied without returning her handshake, letting the girls hand linger where it was. Rhiannon had no love for those in the government agency, even those who were not part of it anymore. Supposedly not part of it in her eyes, since she was always the suspicious type. However now her suspicion seemed to sharpen her mind, where it perhaps dulled it before. Wondering if everyone was going to stab you in the back left you keenly away of those who where close to you, and not in a favorable way. It was this girl that made her forever trust that anyone Remus dated would be a traitor though. One was a bad coincidence, two was a pattern. Three, well she sincerely hoped there wouldn’t be a third. Or part of her did, some how another part hoped even that bigot would find love and family. After all Rhiannon had hers. “Don’t you recognize me?” the nymph gave a smile, she did look different but people had recognized her after a while. The shape of her body, the way she walked, it was all different. Perhaps the people who paid close attention to those things had more difficulty noticing, though her face was the same.
Arthur seemed to be less than happy with his mom stopping to have a conversation, he wanted to go and to do. Rhiannon felt reluctant to take her eyes off Evelyn, but as a child of shadows it could very well be one of those velociraptor incidents. Keep too close and eye on the distraction and the attack sweeps in from the sides. Rhiannon crouched to Arthur and smiled, suddenly picking him up and tossing him into the air a bit as he giggled arms and legs splayed them outward.
