spring and Summer were despicable for Pluto, they were the seasons where his beloved wife left the underworld, when he was all alone and when he tended to be... unfaithful to her, not always and not very often, but sometimes he was. He just missed her so much that he... well looked for her arms in the arms of others. He wasn't proud of that, but what he was proud of was his children, those that he had had with those women. He had loved each one of them with thei flaws and their perks, he simply loved them all. Even when some had lost their way, he still love them.
But among all of them, the one that had always made him prouder, had been Gabriel. He was a gentleman, always looking for the good in the world even when his soul sometimes was in the dark. But he hadn't seen his son in almost a year, so instead of looking to any human in the world, he decided to go and visit his kin. first would be Gabriel, later it would be Nat and maybe after her, it would be his grandchilden. He would do that for spring and Summer and the wait for his queen and their baby new born would be less painful.
So he walked down the vias of the Camp and his steps got him to the Filds of Mars. He looked around and there he was, his son, the mortal son that made his heart be full and filled with pride. "Good day Gabriel" He said and waited for him to reply. Pluto was wearing a black suit and was standing there leaned over his cane.
Gabriel had taken a bunch of the younger members of first cohort and decided to work with them. There was only about five of the younger kids in the first cohort. They were pretty cute, well at least as far as kids went. He helped them get their weapons, trying to help them figure out what worked the best for them. Then to take them to get their armor fixed and to show them where everything was. Not to mention he would go over the schedule with them. He'd ask them about how things were going and how they were acclimating to the camp. It was something that Gabe had wished they had done for him. Camp was something weird, it was odd. It was hard to get along with when you went from one life to another completely different thing. For some people, it was hard to get along with.
"Alright guys, You'll be starting off here on this section of the course. Just so I can see what you're capeable of alright guys?" He said as he motioned for them to start the course one by one. It went pretty much how he had expected. Two of the kid ended up falling flat on their faces, one kid got distracted, another one broke a nail and started whining, and the other, after looking at the record, it was obvious this was a Mars kid. They moved on to the field of Mars and he motioned for them to start the drills that he had taught them. After they were done to his satisfaction, he gave a loud whistle. "Alright go on, you guys are done for now. We'll do this again next week."
Gabriel wiped the sweat from his face as he turned to hear his name. His father was standing there, leaning on his cane. A grin spread across his face as he tossed the towel over his shoulder and he put his sword back in it's sheath along his hip before he extended a rough and calloused hand to his father. "Hello father, hope you are well this day?" He said in a good and proper greeting to his father. His eyes held a bit of surprise, though it was spring and it shouldn't have surprised him. There were others that were more deserving of his attention than he was. It always surprised him. Just like meeting with his step mother. She was a very warm woman.
