AELIANA DEANNA LOGAN
.
Name::Aeliana (EYE-lee-ah-nuh)
Nickname:: Lia (Most common)
Age::Nineteen.
Gender::Female
Species:: Legacy
Olympian Parent:: Father son of Jupiter, Mother daughter of Apollo
Years at Camp:: Fourteen (She joined when she was five)
Celebrity Claim: Jennifer Lawrence
Appearance:: Lia is naturally a beautiful girl, with long dark hair and tanned skin with bright green eyes and what people would call a ‘curvy’ figure that mortal girls would kill for. However she often hides this under jackets and t-shirts, even if she acts conceited at times she rarely thinks she is much to look at when up against the Venus barrack. She has a few scars on her back from the battle of Orthys and also one on her hairline from when she fell off the kitchen counter at three years old.
Lia is often seen in a purple legion shirt and black pants, along with a hunting jacket that had been her fathers and sneakers or boots. She is also rarely seen without her dagger or bow by her side, because even at the Legion you never know what is around the next corner.
Personality:: On her good side, Lia can be a great person to hang around. Usually very fun loving and can be one you can easily joke around with. She is also one that if you are her friend she will do anything for you, she is one who will be loyal to a t and takes betrayal very seriously. She also takes respect into high regard, she believes that in battle you don’t have to necessarily like them to fight beside them but you at least have to earn their respect. She also despises liars, especially from a friend. Lia is one who will probably never lie to anyone; if she is asked a question she will tell them the truth. so I would suggest not asking her anything that you’re not sure you want the answer too.
However on top of a mouth with not that many filters, meaning if she thinks it she will most often say it. She was also ‘gifted’ with the Jupiter temper which means when she gets angry some things may happen to be fried to a crisp. Though she is known to have her sweet and caring side, it just isn’t to many she allows to see that side of her.Lia also finds herself severely conflicted at times to where her and her fellow Legionnaires stand. On one hand she believes like her father had that it was an honor for them to be able to serve the gods, to fight in their name. Which is the reason she still serves even though her debt should of been up by now. Just on the other hand, what are they all sacrificing for the will of the gods?
Family:: Jupiter- Paternal Grandfather
Apollo- Maternal Grandfather
James Logan – Father (Deceased)
Annabelle Logan – Mother
History:: Aeliana Logan was born in the city deemed ‘New Rome’ where the demi-gods and legacies who have paid their dues to the Legion and have lived through such are allowed to live out their lives, and even raise a family. Aeliana, or Lia as she prefers to be called was born nineteen years ago to James Logan and his new wife Annabelle O’Brien – Logan. However where Annabelle was 30, James was only 26 at the time of his darling daughter’s birth and being a son of Jupiter he felt that he could still be a use to the Legion, so he continued to serve while Annabelle stayed home with Lia.
Lia grew up as a typical New Rome child would, running about the streets playing with her friends and waiting for their parents who still served to come home. Lia loved to run around with her toy bow and arrow, shooting her friends with the little suction cupped arrows that sometimes would even give the receiver a little shock, because she was a daddy’s girl in more ways than one. Every weekend unless he was on a quest, James would come home and spend time with his family. Whenever he would come home, Lia would try and spend every waking moment with her father. Begging him to tell her stories of his adventures and how he defeated the enemy, all the heroic stories left her wanting to be just like him when she grew up.
However when she was five, She found out how cruel the lives they lived could be. James Logan was a week away from when he had chosen to finally retire, and being able to go and live with his wife and daughter when he was killed by a gorgon on his final quest. This devastated both Lia and her mother, the young girl remembered holding her mother’s hand and crying as she watched the flames claim her father’s body that had been covered with a Jupiter shroud. After her father’s death, her mother went into a long depression that had her barely able to get out of bed in the morning. This also made it when a few Legionnairs came to take Lia to be put into the Legion a few months after her father’s death, her mother didn’t stop them.
When she joined Lia chose to be in the Jupiter barrack in honor of her father, and because it was a barrack that demanded respect from the rest of the Legion. Even at a young age it didn’t take her long to realize that respect would get you far, and that to have someone’s respect meant allot, especially in battle.
She excelled in most of her training, and quickly used to learn the powers that where gifted to her from her Jupiter heritage. The only thing that she truly got from her mother’s side, from Apollo was her knack for archery. Though she has been told that her singing often lifts people’s spirits, but she hasn’t sung since her father passed away. Once she was in the Legion, she shared her cabin with an older boy named Derrick who was at least ten years older than her, he was like the older brother she had never had. He taught her all the tricks of the trade and helped her hone her Jupiter powers.
However it wasn’t long until tragedy struck again, during the battle of Orthys. It had been a grand battle, allot of lives had been lost on both sides and Lia had done all she could to make sure that it was the enemy who lost the most numbers. In the end they had been victorious, but it was bitter sweet for Lia because again she had lost someone close to her. Derrick had been lost in the fight, and before he passed away in Lias arms he told her and anyone who was there to listen that she was the new Centurion, and he knew she would do him proud.
That was two years ago and Lia had been Centurion of the Jupiter barrack ever since. She now goes about her daily rituals of training, stopping by the Apollo cabin to hang with her family over there and dealing with her Centurion duties and going to see her mother every other weekend to check on her. Though with the war that seemed to be looming again, she couldn’t help but wonder what lives would be lost this time? Someone else she loved? Or maybe this time it would be her turn to die in battle.
